Scam scam scam these ones run away with you money

I ordered a Lumia 920 unlocked. This is a rare phone at this time. Overseas Electronics always promptly replied to order status updates. After being doubtful that the unlocked Lumia 920 works on AT&T LTE bands, I put a clarification request to Overseas Electronics. They immediately clarified that LTE will not work on AT&T with this version. This made me cancel the order and request a refund. WITHIN 5 MINUTES, THE ORDER CANCELLATION WAS CONFIRMED AND MY PAYPAL PAYMENT REFUNDED! This is honesty and great customer service.

First I ordered HTC HD but then called same day to change to the Omnia 2. I wanted next day shipping. The rep said it was $24.XX. I asked him was that next day and he said YES. When I looked online at my bank they charged me another $34.00. The next rep said the first rep charged me for regular shipping not next day. Had I not called back to change the order, I would've been waiting for my phone. When I explainded to the second rep that the first rep said next day was $24.XX he said I misunderstood. I didn't misunderstand anything. So I let the transaction go. The Omnia 2 I recieved was BAD. It stopped working in 2 weeks. Wouldn't get a signal. So I called to get it replaced and they replaced it, but with a different color. The first was black. Then they sent me a red one. I called them to get the black one back. They told me it didn't come in black. That made me mad. I know what I recieved from them. At that point I know I will not buy from them again!!! The packaging doesn't come with warranty info. So I called Overseas to check on wanrranty info and hasn't recieved a call back or email from them. I found this out because I called Samsung USA for help to get the phone working and they told me it's not a US model and I need to call the seller to fix. So buy at your on risk??? I was going to buy the HTC HD2 from these guys, but since they didn't respond to my email about warranty or give me a black phone like I had before, I'll buy from some other retailer. Buyer beware!!!

I ordered Philips dvp5140 from this site through Google checkout.
Next day got a phone call that the item is long time discontinued (why is it still on their website?) and they will send me newer model for the same price.
Today I received BROKEN OLDER dvp 3140 player.
1) OLDER and twice cheaper (if you will be lucky to find it)
2) BROKEN. with a scratch on the DVD tray. the tray would not open, it's jammed.
This is all fraud and scam. if I can only give negative raiting...

After extensive research and about to give up on an old-style "feature" unlocked phone (non web-enabled phone), I located what I wanted at Overseas for 1/3 of the price on this hard-to-find unit. I called to be sure it was new, and was told yes. I went ahead and placed the order (these guys answered the phone late on a Saturday to my surprise)and was told it would be shipped the following Monday and would include a USA power adapter. My phone arrived on time as promised, but I could not locate the power adaptor. I called and Luis asked me to double-check the package, and if I could not find it he would send me one without charge or question. To my surprise, it was included (it was the same color as the styro 'peanuts' and blended in, causing me to miss it). I called back and spoke to Luis and apologized. These guys are great and you will be glad of the shopping experience because they are trustworthy and will follow through on what you order. THANK YOU LUIS YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

I wanted to buy an HTC desire 620 back, I have been waiting for the phone for 1 week, after that they canceled shipment because they made a mistake and sent me a white phone, I have waited for one more week and insted of HTC desire 620 black I have received an HTC desire 620G a cheaper model and it was GREY not fu**** black one. Don't buy anything from overseas electronics, cheap moth*****.

I was looking for a transformer/converter for use in 220 volt appliances, mainly for washer and dryer that I want to use in 220 volts. So I came across this store online. I called them to find out about different options I have in purchasing transformers. The sales person recommended a LiteFuze brand transformer. I Bought a LiteFuze Converter from this store online and received it faster than I had expected.I am using this transformer and it works great on washer and dryer. I am pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend this store for different types of voltage transformers.

terrible company, please stay away-- i never write bad reviews about businesses (as a matter of fact, this is the first one i am writing), but overseas electronics compelled me to create a city search account and write a negative review. their website is welectronics dot com...

this is a company of crooks and what they are doing is borderline illegal-- when a high-interest product is about to hit the market, they advertise it in a very, very low price for pre-order. you get a vague ETA. then, using your money, they order the product in quantities. once they are about to receive the product, the price on their website goes up, up, up-- for immediate delivery. then they tell you that "oh, your product didn't arrive yet. the ones that arrived are for other people." yada yada ya...

here is my cautionary tale: i saw the blackberry q10 advertised for $599 on their website. there was even a free shipping offer. i contacted them and understood this was a pre-sale. i had no qualms with that. i asked the ETA, i was told late april, early-may. i was still good with it. i made the payment then i started waiting.

i chatted with them the last week of april and i was told the phones arriving "late next week". immediately after my chat, when they got the definite ETA, the price went up to $899.

i called them on thursday, may 2, 2013-- i was told my phone has arrived and will ship the same day, or, latest, by friday. i confirmed this with chat again on friday-- they told me that the phones have arrived and it will be sent immediately.

when i chatted again friday PM though, this time they told me they did not receive the phones. when i pressed them on, asking them to explain, they said "oh, the phones have arrived, but they are not the UK spec'd phones-- the one we will send you is a UK spec'd, the ones we received are US spec'd-- which, again is a lie because on may 2, 2013, the US spec'd phones were not even released-- as a matter of fact the only phones available in the market were the UK spec'd. to assure this, i called them again, 10 minutes later, on a different line-- i asked them if they had the blackberry q10 in stock, they said YES. i asked them if it was the UK spec'd phone, they said YES.

they told me that the phone was available for immediate shipping if i placed an order for $899. obviously, the phone was not only available to poor suckers like me who pre-ordered it at a low price, and covered their overhead until they received the phones.

i was really upset-- asked for them to explain themselves (and their lies)-- having told twice my item has arrived. i gave them my phone number-- i was told someone would call me. but, instead, my order was CANCELED, without asking for my consent, and my money was refunded after a few days.

i guess they figured out they used me and my money enough and cut me lose.

there is a term for this kind of business- it is FRAUD. you collect money for a competitively priced item as a pre-sale, then, you secure the item, and, once secured, you start lying to the pre-order customers, and start selling their orders for a much higher price to others.

so, do your self a favor and stay away.

Ordered a HP Ipaq 614C-I requested Expidited shipping so it would be here by Friday 3/21/08 or NO order. They state on their website that all items normally ship UPS ground allow a year or so for delivery... Got a Email saying I would have it by my specified timeframe if I placed order that day (No worries). After another series of email's requesting the Tracking# I finally got one today(3/21/08) and guess what? It was not expidited and will not be delivered for another freakin WEEK!! This ticks me off especially when their site states that they will ship other than UPS ground if you contact them via Email requesting such:
The only shipping option selectable while ordering via our online shopping cart is UPS ground. For other shipping methods or options please e-mail us. Please allow total delivery time of 3-10 business days for UPS Ground. We will provide you with a tracking number to track your package.
Uhhh....
The issue is being home to sign for the package -that is WHY I requested this type of shipping. The wackiest thing is,I stayed on them and even have several Emails from them repeatedly saying I would have it here by Friday March 21 2008 (today). According to UPS tracking info that was never the case.
On the positive side, they got back to me promptly each time I emailed them (except the one about the misleading shipping info) I hope the shipping SNAFU was all a simple error on their part. I hat e to think they did this knowingly just to make the sell? If you buy a phone from these folks, Demand a Tracking#,Give yourself plenty of time for shipping which mean no UPS Next day/2nd day) Also need to specify that the phone is the proper language. It's not specified anywhere on their site that I noticed and your just ASSuming it is the version you want. They are very clear-their are NO refunds once you order a Phone.
I will find out next week or whenever it finally gets here and will update this post accordingly.

I eventually recieved the phone (a week later). I have since decided I did not like the phone as it was not all it was cracked up to be IMHO. Overseas Electronics is working with me now to exchange for a Nokia N95 8GB NAM. Since they are willing to exchange without any issue, I will upgrade them. I think they should take the expidited delivery option(s) off their website though..

Sent an email asking if they had the new Samsung ATIV S with "internal" "32GB" model in stock. They reply with "yes we do" so ordered the phone. The phone arrived but was the "16GB" model even though I paid for a 32GB phone! I call them with my complaint and was told that the 32GB phone hadn't been released yet! Then they told me that a 32GB chip was included but couldn't be found. Even if the chip were included, it doesn't make it an internal "32GB" phone. Furthermore, their prices are high. Check Negri Electronics to compare.

We need four(4) Cellular phones Sony Ericsson T250i for a project.
I look for this phones on Internet and OVERSEAS ELECTRONICS shows that have it in stock.
Just to confirm the information and as we have a strict deadline, I made a long distance call and one of the males told me that they have it in stock and ready to deliver.
I ask (again) for the two (2) day shipping and he told me that as I call before noon (Friday) they will be deliver that same day to us...
After the fourth(4)day waiting, I call and they told me that was a delay and that will be deliver on next Friday. The next day call again, just to confirm that they don't have them and they only say that: "Your money will be reimbursed to your card, because we couldn't find them" (???) No further explanations, just ask for the invoice number.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY from "Overseas Electronics" = "www.welectronics.com" = "[email protected]"(on eBay). Learn from others, ok?!

Really I had a worst experience with this company. Please don't trust this company they are scammer. I am Balamurugan G on Jun 2018 I am searching for the product MSI Laptop to make order in Alibab.com website at that time one of the representative from this company name Ahmed Rasaq contacted and told me that he can offer me the MSI Laptop with price Rs 40000/- inr . I feel this price might be worth for this product so I accept the offer and placed that order initially he told me to pay Rs 10000/- I refuse to pay since the product is not delivered to me. Ahmed Rasaq told this is company policy so to start the shipment process company need an initially advance as Rs 10000/- inr and after a long discussion I finally accept his request and paid him to the SBI bank account which he shared to me. Then frequently he contacted me to pay the full amount of the product to clear the customs I don't know what to do but he told trust me I will help you out, based on the trust of his words I paid the entire amount Rs 40000 /- inr. After few hours he again pinged and told me that I want to pay Insurance fee for the product this is new to me I asked Ahmed Rasaq why I want to pay this? Ahmed Rasaq told me that this is the Insurance fee collected from customs this need to paid I don't know what I want to do I paid already the entire amount Rs 40000/- inr to him I asked him to cancel the order and refund my money back but Ahmed Rasaq is not ready to do that Ahmed Rasaq started me to brain wash me and ask me to pay that insurance amount so that I will get the refund check from Insurance company when the product is delivered so that I can claim from insurance company on believing his word I paid the Insurance amount as Insurance Fee Rs 15000/- inr, Import License Fee Rs 25000/- inr back to back he ask me to pay for Delivery and Clearance as well as ,Delivery Fee Rs 30000/- inr, Clearance Fee Rs 67000/- this can also be refunded.

I have soft copy of the invoice proof given by this "Overseas Electronics' company from Devon Chicago, IL-60659.

I have spend nearly four time the amount of the product I have ordered but now still I following the guy Ahmed Rasaq scammer (representative of Overseas Electonics) for the refund but still he is not ready pay me back or deliver the product that I have ordered. Instead of that he ask me to pay another Rs 5000/- inr . I told him I am not ready to lose another Rs 5000/- inr so I request him to refund the amount but Ahmed Rasaq reply me that they can't refund the amount that is company policy after hearing I am really got frustrated I really don't know what to do after a long discussion he is not ready to refund I don't know what to do now.

This company is not a genuine company, if it is a genuine company then they should either deliver the product or if they can't then they should refund the amount what I have spend till now for proof I have the soft copy of the invoice which they have shared after the payment done.

But till now I don't have any hope on this company on refund , So like me don't order in this company and loose your money . They are like blood suckers they will **** our money like blood.

I went to purchase the Nokia 925 Black phone from them but they did not have in stock so I ended up getting the 925 Nokia in Grey color , Two days later I called to find out if they had the Black color in stock they did and they exchanged it for the color I wanted . As soon as they receive the Nokia 1020 Model I will buy from them too calling them everyday for stock .

I bought a PANASONIC NIS-500-TS IRON For 220 VOLTS and it is by far the worst product I have ever bought. Nothing worked, and after TWO uses, it died. I tried to call and complain and I could not get a hold of anyone.

two issues with my order :

1- the charger with silver one not same as white one

2- no HDMI cable with silver one ?????????? how can i get one now !!!!!

3- some scratches with silver unit

Recieved the item with in few day although no tracking number was provided online but recieved one thru ups .

I ordered a 3000watts transformer from this company to use with a 220volts soybean milk making appliance my wife bought back from China. When the transformer arrived we found out that they have shipped us the wrong model. I called this company and their manager/owner Mr. Azam was very kind and helpful to offer a better replacement, LiteFuse LR-5000. Needless to say we were overjoyed and thankful for his gesture. When the shipment arrived, we were surprised that their shipping department had accidently shipped THG-5000U/D instead of LiteFuse LR-5000. We tested the transformer but it keep buzzing after a few minutes and has to be unpluged to reset all the time. We conclude that we still need the LiteFuse LR-5000 because it has a built-in regulator. Again I called Mr. Azam and he bend himself backward to comply with my request to ship me the LiteFuse LR-5000 when he receive his shipment from China. I am waiting for the LiteFuse LR-5000 to arrive, hopefully soon, and forever grateful for Mr. Azam's thoughtfullness in this regards. I am pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

I was able to source Sony Z2 US Version phone from Overseas Electronics brand new while all the other retailers were sold out . I did not think they would come thru , but they were able to locate the Model I wanted .

I have done business with Overseas Electronics(www.welelectronics.com)/[email protected] as far back as 2008. This company is located in Chicago, IL. Their site is clearly marked with their information. Recent purchases that I have made with them are as follows: (each phone is purchased on different dates that go back to January 2010): Samsung S5230, LG GX500, Nokia 6700, Nokia 7260, Samsung B5702, Sony Ericsson W980i, and Sony Ericsson G705. Each phone has been shipped in a timely manner and in excellent condition. I HAVE HAD ONLY POSITIVE EXPERIENCES WITH THEM! I have never had a problem with them that would warrant a negative review!! Any issues that have come up they have always been good about remedying the situation. If I decided that I did not want the phone or realized that the phone would not be compatible in the U.S.A. (because I misread their ad) they have always been good about exchanging for another item. I do not understand some of the negative reviews listed about them. For example: Reviewer GUAC who seems to ask the reader to find out if they're operating under other business names since he had a bad experience with another company in California with a similar name. Did this reviewer buy from Overseas in Chicago? I mean, ResellerRatings only requests for a purchase date & order number which is not enough info to verify the legitimacy of some of these reviews. Does RR even call Overseas to verify order numbers? I also question the negative reviews who don't even call to speak with Asam to resolve their issue with an order but decide to leave negative feedback anyway. Since I have done business with them I would recommend calling them to make sure an item is in stock. If for any reason the item is no longer in stock when originally it was then they will gladly refund any money owed to you (which has happened to me before). It's not life or death people! Personally, I would definitely recommend doing business with them.
