I accept that it is a difficult time for companies at the moment, but YouGarden have taken our money wont answer messages, Phone or emails. Still waiting to see if we will receive our order or a refund. Not to happy especially as they are still advertising in current magazines.

Please do NOT use this Company. As many other reviewers have also said. I placed my order on the 3 May. Money was taken and I waited and waited and waited! Finally 25 days later one box arrived (part of my £88.00 order). This was a box of battered Busy Lizzies, 1 was missing, two dead, others not far from dead and a few tiny but alive. They were bone dry and flung out of their containers. No sign or word of the rest of the order. I have tried phoning with no reply and have emailed requesting cancellation and refund and no surprise completely ignored! I wish I had checked the reviews first, no way would I use You Garden!!

Complete waste of time on both sides. Very very late deliveries with no customer contact. Deliveries incorrect, repeat deliveries either again incorrect or plants arrive rotting. Customer care telephone is a premium number I found to my annoyance having incurred over £35 call charges. Company strategy its good but incompetence at the warehouse with orders is killing this company.

Plants arrived in poor condition. Some died, as expected, within a few days. I took photos and emailed one month ago and twice since Still no response. Will not use again due to lack of response and help, which is a shame.

Wrong rose sent. Two emails sent were unanswered Phoned and got through after 10 minutes. Person at end was helpful but onus was on us to organise return. Decided to keep wrong rose as too much trouble to return. Will not use again. Third email of complaint still not answered

Damaged plants and the rest in very poor condition. Most have died. They were dry and the smallest plants I have ever seen! Overpriced and took forever to come. No reply to emails, no phone number, until I responded to one of their constant email adverts. This was after 3 weeks. Now my refund will take another 2 weeks. Disgusting.

I placed several orders with yougarden all of which took longer than the stated delivery times. OK, I could have lived with that given the situation with the covid pandemic but the condition of the plants on delivery was shocking. All were wilted or dry, looking as if they had not seen any water since the order was placed 3 to 4 weeks earlier. Some appeared to be dead and totally ignored recoverable. I also placed an order with a company called Gardens4you which was delivered in 3 days with good quality healthy plants. What is amazing here is that Gardens4you are in Holland and Yougarden are in Peterborough UK. Speaks volumes about UK attitudes to customers service, doesn't it? The Daily Mail needs to seriously reconsider their relationship with this shoddy organisation.

We ordered a passionflower at £14.99. When it arrived it was almost dead (4 days delivery). I planted it to attempt revival. I rang to complain and immediately a re replacemrnt was offered and accepted. I suggested leaving despatch till Monday to avoid an extra day in delivery which was agreed. 2 days later (Thursday) an email to inform me its despatched. It arrived Monday this time pot was wrapped I polythene to avoid drying out. BUT when it arrived the pot was upside down. This plant is not near death but is of extremely poor quality. No one would buy it over the counter. Totally disgusted with the whole thing. If one of these is worth £14.99. They must be at least £50 when healthy. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

I ordered 4 standard roses, 3 out of 4 were dead. As I am not a gardener I waited to see what happened. One flourished 3 are dead. I rang you to be told not getting any in until November and now have to pay another 6.99 delivery for good that were faulty. The reason I didn't ring straight away was that I didn't know they were dead until one started to grow. Also nobody questioned about 3 dead rose trees so wondered if this was a bad batch. Three out of 4 isn't very good.

When my order arrived one item was incorrect. Sent several emails and made numerous phone calls but got no response to any of them yet the still advertise about great quality and customer service. I have finally given up on them. Keep well clear of this company. I shop quite a lot on internet and this is the only adverse review I have ever had to write.

Run away from this seller called 'YouGarden' Does not deserve any star, but only clicked a star so that it will allow me to send my review. Review can only be sent by clicking star, is a big deception and needs to be seen to. Forcefully letting customers give star, even when a star is not deserved. My review about yougarden, I ordered a plum tree for £23.99 and a cherry tree for 22.99 from yougarden through amazon in August 2019, when these trees arrived they were full of plants’ diseases. I contacted seller with pictures of the plants and replacement were sent for the two fruits’ trees. When these replacements came, they were the same, but slightly better than the previous. So, with good intention of being helpful and with the hope that these plants could be revived, maybe they will get better. I then contacted seller to inform them of these two replacements, again with pictures, but that I will treat them and see how it goes. I did it out of good mind not to be a trouble, not realising my good heart will be taken for granted. So seller replied that, they're sorry to hear that the replacement were not any better and have made a note on the order about the condition of the plants just in case I have to contact them again. After I reported the two sets of plants, I cut off all the leaves, treated with food plants and did all possible, yet they're of no good. Even one set (one plum tree and one cherry tree) became sticks - fully dead trees, no life in them. So, since April 2020 I've been contacting seller about these plants that, despite every treatments given to the plants, they're of no good. At a stage seller requested that I should send postage and packaging fee for another set to be sent to me, my reply was that, I won't do such a thing to send money for you to turn my house to be dumping ground for rejects – defective plants. But seller does not want to refund my money as they can only be replaced, saying their plants have lifetime guarantee. This is a guarantee of deception, for quite a while I didn’t hear back from seller, so I contacted amazon, which wasn’t being helpful in getting my money back. I'd been on the phone, chats and emails with amazon, yet no response from yougarden or money showing up. After persistent contacts with amazon, amazon eventually gave me a credit note. So, yougarden will carry on deceiving customers with their sales and amazon sees nothing wrong with this seller carrying on. As at today 28/09/2020 and despite other customers’ pictures and complains, this seller’s still have these two plants on amazon. There’s high stars rating on amazon, I never knew about this site, if I had known about this site I would have been well informed about yougarden. Last week Friday I sent an email to yougarden, as their gardening company is nothing other than a deceitful business, corning people out of their hard-earn money with their dodgy plants that are full of diseases, yet refused to accept their misconducts. As I am receiving letters from them, they should stop sending me mails and take my contact of their mailing lists, only for me to receive one of their patronising emails of a statement which I’ve heard before, yet they did not refund my money. So, if you want plants that will actually grow and yield, do away from this seller. They are deceptive with their lifetime guarantee statement, it is a life guarantee of returns - try-and-errors. DO AWAY FROM THIS SELLER CALLED 'YouGarden' See pictures of two different sets of plum and cherry trees bought from yougarden, through amazon which yougarden is claiming that, they have lifetime guarantee

I ordered over £50 worth of items on April 5th but have only received a few small begonia plugs. In mid May I was told further items had been dispatched but, having chased them up, now find they haven’t been as they are out of stock! After several phone calls I was told a refund had been ‘sorted’ towards the end of May. It is now June 11th and still nothing, despite a phone call and 2 emails! I shall not be ordering from them again!

Disastrous customer service! A word of advice to administration/management: comply with your delivery times (they are already long enough), make sure your products are in good conditions but, more importantly, train your teams to communicate and value clients, they are deliberately ruining your business with rudeness and disrespect

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Just had an absolutely awful experience with company. Avoid like the plague. Ordered a plant for a birthday present, with a two week delivery slot. After three weeks, and repeated reminders received an email saying it was going to ship. But was at that point away and the birthday had passed. Immediately emailed them to say please hold the order as I wasn’t going to be there. Then received a reply to that e-mail saying in effect for your email but we are sending it anyway. Phoned them to point out their catalogue of errors. Received no apology, and was told to just contact yodel or arrange a neighbour to intercept the plant, which was just going to be “left on the street anyway”. Well thanks a bunch, let’s see if it is there or alive when we get back. I doubt it. Won’t be using you guys again, and needless to say, please take notice of this review.

I can understand what we are going though at these stressful times , but they are so quick at taking your money and than deliver shocking service . DONT USE THIS COMPANY

I first started using YouGarden last year when I had a totally new garden to plant. I originally bought a pack of 3 dwarf buddleias and later on bought a tree. I also bought plants this year before coved 19. I was initially quite impressed by their service as I ordered the plants and they came within a reasonable length of time whereas other companies I have used before take the money for plants and then see to grow to order leading to waits measured in months I first became somewhat dissatisfied when I tried to invoke their lifetime guarantee as one of my buddleias died. I did not notice that their phone number was a premium rate number until the call used all the credit on my phone! My understanding of the law is that all companies must now publish a standard rate phone number and as far as I can tell YouGarden is clearly in breach of this. There is also a catch in the lifetime guarantee. If you ask to have a plant replaced under the lifetime guarantee you have to pay the £6.99 postage charge, and YouGarden have not been willing to include the replacement plant in with another order. I do not remember hw much the buddleias were originally but they were not much more than £6.99. I have bought more plants from them recently than I would have done if it were not for covid 19 and they have all come, all be it later than I would have expected but yesterday I received an Apple tree with leaf curl. I find this really unacceptable as this could potentially infect every other tree in my garden, and it actually came in a delivery of four trees. I have sent them an email about the tree which is covered under their 30 day unconditional guarantee, but of course I can’t burn it until I get a response from them. Long waits for deliveries and customer service only by phone seem to be par for the course under covid 19. I am currently trying to find out what has happened to a cosmos that I ordered from Sutton’s in March. My concern is how the customer service is provided under normal circumstances, the lack of a standard rate phone number, which I think is a matter for trading standards, an whether the guarantees are genuine. I may post again when I find out!
