I used the surge protector in Italy for six weeks. It's a bit big but I needed to be able to recharge multiple gadgets at the end of the day. Pay attention to the directions for how to correctly insert your plugs. You need a country-specific adapter for the US 3-prong plug. I'd buy it again!

I purchased my converters from Overseas Best Buy because the time range they gave me indicated that the expected arrival date would be several days before my vacation at the latest. It wound up arriving several days after I left. Definitely would not recommend!

The hotels I stayed at in China had dual American 2 prong and the China 3 prong receptacles. However, one of their hair dryers had a 2 prong polarized plug so I did use the converter because their wall plug didn't take polarized plugs but the converter did. Go figure.

after speaking to a well traveled friend I found out that all of my USA products were rated to run on 100VAC to 240VAC 50 or 60 Hz . The salesmen did upsell me from a 150 watt unit to the 500 watt unit. he did not inquire about wither I really needed the unit.
So I did not pack it when I went to Thailand.

I called their customer service line and I was transferred to an electrician. He was very detailed and patient with me the whole 10 minutes. I showed him the item I was looking to purchase; however, he recommended me a different item that has plenty of power for what I'll be using. He saved me money and the experience was awesome. Loved it! Thank you

Was worried when I received it because it was the same model number as the one I purchased the month before. They were identical in every detail! The first one I purchased played great, but for some reason was not playing multi region DVD's. The one I purchased from from Overseas Best Buy plays all my DVD's no problems! Play movies anywhere! Even included travel bag and all the attachments for car and TV use!
