Phenomenal company. Genuinely authentic therapy - experienced and skilled therapists, and convenience as well. Any issues I've had for billing were resolved promptly. Any issues I've had finding a therapist have been resolved promptly. What a great company.

I love this platform; the flexibility and the plethora of counselors with different backgrounds to choose from. Customer service is also excellent. The only reason I didn't put five stars is because I had a technical difficulty with a session early on. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend and probably will use in the future.

BetterHelp quickly matched me with an excellent therapist with whom I felt a connection right away. We communicate weekly by live voice chat and in-between via text using the simple-to-navigate BetterHelp platform. Based on my experience, I can't say enough good things about BetterHelp.

I have very much enjoyed using BetterHelp. It's easy to set up a profile and the website is easy to navigate. I also like that it's easy to switch therapists- my first therapist was not a perfect fit and it was effortless to try another therapist. I like how convenient it is to have therapy using BetterHelp, as there's no need to drive to an office and make sure that there's time in my schedule to get to and from my appointment. I also like that I can have my appointments on-the-go. I had my last appointment while on a picnic.

Better Help has a little bit of a learning curve, but all around is a great tool for those who can't find or afford mental health care, which is getting more scarce by the day. You are matched with a counselor based on the information you provided when you sign up, but I actually had better luck when I changed counselors, a process that is very easy and always available to you of you don't think you were matched well. I wound up with a fantastic person once I simply stated who I was and what I needed out of therapy. You can send messages to your counselor 24/7 (they all have different schedules and protocol regarding their response times, but they usually get back to you very quickly regardless). It's recommended that you also have a phone or video chat visit at least once a week, or whatever your counselor decides based on your needs. It is a flat fee for all of the above - which is probably the best part, because then you're motivated to actually USE it as often as possible!

Very beneficial site. I work as a first responder and I recommend it to colleagues and others who have struggled to find resources local to them to whom they relate.

So far a good platform for counseling. Although took me 3 counselor change due to time conflict as I am in Asia and lack of response from previous ones. The one I have now is much more responsive, have a lot of available time for me. She has better understanding of what I am going through. I also think 30 minds is not enough per scheduled counsing. I have a lot of things to ask.

The therapists are mostly nice. I am settling down with my 3rd therapists. You just need to find the right one after you talk to each therapist. The price is very reasonable. It is easy to use. you can have video, phone, and online sessions. I definitely will recommend to anyone!

I have never been one to try counseling as experience in the past was not helpful. I was feeling as though I needed to try again and this seemed to be a great way that works better for me. I am able to write messages about what is going on and get the help or conversation in a way that is best for me. There is also not a one time visit every other week or so to rush and jam pack as much as possible into that session. It’s almost like a continuous session so I feel it is more supportive than the traditional face to face meetings. Although I am not one to do face to face I may even give that a chance one of these days.

Quarantine doesn't mean that you can't "go to therapy". With Betterhelp, I was able to continue going all throughout my state's shutdown, and it has been incredibly helpful, especially when the depression got really bad during quarantine. I enjoy my counselor, who I was matched with. I enjoy being able to set up convenient appointments for myself and my schedule, or even being able to cancel an appointment and reschedule for sooner - even if it's at eight o'clock at night. I can also drop a counselor at any time, and I do not have to give an explanation as to why. If I feel like we aren't working out, I have the freedom to leave that counselor and get matched to another one. They even ask you a few questions about what kind of counselor you prefer - so if you need someone of the same gender as you, you can specify that and they'll only send those that apply to your specifcations. They also have questions for various races and backgrounds, which I think is really cool, because not every counselor knows/understands where you're coming from unless they have been there themselves. They have questions for religious or non-religious/non- denominational counselors. I personally enjoy not being told "God Bless" constantly, but if you do, you can have a counselor with the same faith as you. There's also L.G.B.T.Q.A.+ friendly counselors (and some that understand BDSM and polyamory are a thing!) This service is super cool, as someone who has been in traditional therapies, experimental therapies, and even in a in-patient facility at a point in my teenage years. And I like this so much better than any other kind of therapy I have been in, and I actually can see visible improvements in myself and my mental health.

Terrible. It’s hit or miss. You can send multiple messages to betterhelp but they don’t respond. If you get an actually good counselor you’re lucky (it also means you don’t have to deal with betterhelp staff who are absent from responding) but if you get a bad counselor like I did who never showed up to our first meeting and checked on me with an automated message the following week but when I confronted her about the missed session she ignored, then good luck

Signing up for Betterhelp.com is the best decision I have made for myself and my family in years. I didn't know if teletherapy would work for me, as I normally HATE phone and video interaction, but it hasn't been a problem at all. I was concerned about the quality of therapists available, but I love my therapist and have complete confidence in her abilities. I have also found the webinars to be helpful. If you're on the fence about getting help through betterhelp.com, do not hesitate.
