I ordered three wooden painting boards in late December and they took quite a while to arrive. I got them in late January. I got in touch with Cheap Joe's about a week before they came to find out what happened to my order, and was told they were on back order. It would have been nice for Cheap Joe's to have told me that weeks earlier. In the interim, I ordered two more of the same thing in a size Cheap Joe's didn't have from Amazon, and those arrived in two days. I want to support Cheap Joe's, but it's hard to argue with Amazon's efficiency and selection.

I ordered online and order was supposed to arrive in 6-9 days. After 9 days it hadn't even been processed and shipped. When it finally arrived one item was on back order. Nothing was out of stock when I placed my order. After 3 more weeks they finally had it back in stock only to try and charge me more than the original price. My advice- Steer Clear! They are disorganized and not very friendly.

Ordered and requested rush shipping which would have sent my order out the same day as the order however when I got my email with the shipping notification I noticed it was not sent until the next day, thus I did not get my order in time for my class. I emailed my dissatisfaction and they responded promptly and refunded my "rush" shipping charge.
In my opinion it takes too long to receive the orders. Took 10 days to get my order.

I bought two sets of the calligraphy pens. Both grandsons are taking Mandarin and both boys love to draw so it was a terrific choice. One set for their house and one set to keep here for when they visit which is often.

I also bought the set of pencils which have a wide range of skin tones. WOW! That was a winner, too! And what a wonderful idea. Thanks for carrying all this stuff. Kids who love to draw will find both items wonderful for continuing to explore ART!

I was not happy because it took several weeks to arrive here, but the Customer Service person was very nice and took the shipping off my bill. I read that the shipping was free on the add and she said if the order is over $100.00. My order was around $98.00, so I thought that was close enough. She said that their company needs to do a little better job of communicating with the customer. I agreed. That was my only issue was the delivery time. Everything else was great. Thanks Deanne PS the Customer Service Representative was very very nice.

I had been looking for a while for the paletteam of my dreams and I finally found it on the 6th page. My only problem was shipping cost, but you win some and you lose some with that.

I received the canvas order of six canvases, in about a week. Wrapped & protected good, because the box was dented badly and the products were perfect!

I ordered on a Monday and my (in stock) items didn't ship until Friday. I paid for expedited shipping so I'd have thought they'd at least have got the order out the door within a day or two.

I was NOT told when the order was placed that it would be 4 business days before it would be processed which made it a week to do. And I strongly feel that I should have been notified to that.
So it was 2 weeks before I received my order.

I had a large order delivered and it was missing just one item. I contacted customer service and they rushed the missing item out immediately. I would recommend them as their prices are good and they take care of their customers.

My first time ordering from Cheap Joe's. Our watercolor teacher recommended them; said that's who she uses. I was very impressed with huge selection, helpful order-taker, accuracy of order and NO shipping cost! Will definitely use them again...

I always check Cheap Joe's first for art supplies. I am an amateur artist and my daughter is an art major in college. We both prefer to use the highest quality materials and Cheap Joe's has them. Prices are good and delivery is fast.

Cheap Joe's Art Stuff and an excellent catalogue where I was able to find all the supplies I will require for an Art Retreat in Costa Rica....recommended by our instructor. The quality is excellent and the prices are reasonable...in fact, I have just received my second order and am pleased!

My order came in two different shipments, & although they were packed on the same day one arrived several days later than the other in a pretty smashed box. Although the oil paints were in a bubble wrap bag, on of the tubes had leaked from the bottom seal. I didn't think it was worth complaining or returning, but you asked....so, maybe a double bubble-wrap bag on shipments of metal-tubed paints.

Joe Miller has an art supply company called Cheap Joe's, but when it comes to giving visual artists support and help Joe is not cheap at all. His moral compass and his kindness to all artists whether new or old "hands" at Painting are legendary. I always try Joe's website first. I have never been disappointed by the staff and the knowledge shared. Thanks again!
