As a previous review stated, I did not hear of Computerbrain.com before last week. I was looking for a portable GPS system, specifically the Mio C710. Nobody had them in stock until yesterday. I had placed an order with Computerbrain after Buy.com cancelled my order with the reason being... no longer available from manufacturer. Then I received an email from Buy.com informing me that inventory has arrived.

I called Computerbrain to cancel my order, since it still showed backordered. They informed me that they also received inventory - - and it was cheaper than Buy.com.

The Service Rep was very friendly, answered the phone in a few rings - -rare these days, and I would purchase from them in the future.

I placed an order on September 26, 2007 with computerbrain.com for an external hard drive. My receipt showed it to be back ordered.

Today, October 29, 2007 I called the company & quickly got a customer service rep. They told me my order had been cancelled. They said the special on the external hard drive was a mistake. I would have liked to see them honor their mistake or at least contact me directly. I was still patiently waiting for an external hard drive that will never arrive.

Prior to placing order last Saturday I requested confirmation that the item requested could be delivered the following Tuesday. This was confirmed by a service representative as long as I paid a rush and overnight shipping fees. The order was placed but was delivered one day later than needed.

Although the experience was not what I expected Computerbrain agreed to refund a fair portion of the expediting costs. This speaks well of their customer service.

I was skeptical at first, never hearing of Computer Brain before, and what a name. But, they had the second lowest price on the Pocket PC GPS bundle I was looking for and had several thousand reviews averaging four stars (the lowest price was only pennies less and from a company with only ONE three-star review). So, I took a chance, and couldn't be more pleased. The ordering process was easy, and my order was fulfilled quickly. I was given an e-mail response to my order, and a tracking number so I could follow the status of my order. My order arrived when promised. The product operated flawlessly, and I am very happy. I give Computer Brain FIVE stars and a pledge for repeat business.

received order in a timely manner-took 3 business days. Only problem was tracking of package was not available for some reason-don't know whose fault-vendor or ups. But after I emailed about the issue, i received a call back which was nice. They said they would check it out but i never heard from them again. The package was delivered that same day so turned out ok.

i made this order on September 5 2007, and i did not get it until Sep 17, i asked them to cancel my order many times , but the did not , the kept on saying that the order is on the way!!! don't deal with these guys , they are Crooks and Liars. the worst Customer Service ever

I ordered MyHD130 HD MPEG player/tuner card 11/11/2005. Order was shipped 11/16/2005 appropriately packed. The only minor problem I experienced is that I didn't get e-mail with tracking number, so I called and talked with friendly customer service representative.

Nice price, took a little longer than expected to arrive (8 business days rather than 4-7), but eventually showed up in good condition.

Would probably shop here again if the price was right.

I received a phone call from computer brain shortly after I placed my order to tell me that the item was on back order, thay said the would have it available on the 7th, and wanted to know if I still wanted the item, I said yes. I am very happy with the service I received at computer brain

**Buy from this store if you want to wait forever for you merchandise or if you want to loose your money**

On the 11th of March, I bought and Acer Laptop from this store on amazon.com. On the 13th, they sent me a tracking number to follow up with FedEx. I live in Maryland and the item had to get to me all the way from where their warehouse was.

Somewhere along the way, the merchandise got lost by FedEx. I contacted them. They kept telling me we will call you back over and over but they never did. Finally I got a hold of them. They said they couldn't give me another merchandise or refund my money unless Fedex paid them for the merchandise.(Even though I paid for the item and the shipping was on their part) I spoke to their customer service and they were terrible.

They lied about everything that I asked them. I had already talked to FedEx and they did not know that.

Now, after paying $890 for a laptop, I didn't get my item neither did I get my money back. This is not a way to treat a 19 year old. I don't even have that much money.

Don't Buy From This Company. They Lie, They Steal and I Don't Think They Have Any Merchandise To Sell To Anybody. They probably take your money and buy the item from someone else.

My lawyer is filing a Lawsuit against them and I'm also filing a police report.

I placed my order on 10/3/05, and it's now 10/17/05 and I still have not received my order. It's been 14 days. 10 of those have been business days. I called last wed asking about my order and they said they couldn’t look it up because their system is down, they will call me back. After an hour I called back, and again they told me they would call me back. This time I waited two hours. I called them back. I talked to the same person all three times. They told me there was an error on my order and it was my fault. They said when I sent the paypal money; I didn't include my shipping address. I looked at the copy of my invoice from paypal, and the address was not there, but the order number was. My argument was that I wanted my name and business name to appear on the label the way I had sent it on the website. I also asked why my address wasn't looked up via the order number. Even if my address was on the paypal, it didn't have an item. As such they still would have had to look at the order to see what I ordered. I was angry at this point. I asked her if there was anything she could do to expedite the process, and get my item that I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks to me. I need this for business. She gave me a real attitude, and told me I would get 3-day air. It's now 3 business days, and I didn't get my item. I called them up, and they said their system was down. For a computer part reseller to not know how to keep the system up scares me.

I bought a HP Deskjet D2400 series printer and a UBS cable. No problems at all. It was shipped and I recieved it earlier than they estimated. The printer works just fine. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive printer. It comes with a tricolor ink cartridge, but not the black one. I would recommend buying this at the same time you buy the printer. I had checked several sites regarding this printer and the combined price of the printer and the cable was way less than at least 4 other sites. Again, no complaints and I would order again from this company.

I placed my order on 2/06/06 and it was shipped on
2/10/06 and I received it on 2/16/06. I did not request any express delivery though. When I received
the package and item were in excellent cond. I would recommend this store to everyone.

Does it really take 3 weeks to get a product out of your warehouse?? Horrible shipping. Would NOT shop again. Stay away from these guys if you want your product inside 1 month.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received the item within 2 business days. I had selected a 3-7 day shipping when checking out. Amazing service!!!

Order CPU that stated "ships in 1-2 days" paid for express ground, live one state away. it took 7 days till order shipped, and I still have not recived order (12/12/05). Customer services did not seem so willing to help and tried to blame it on fedex, and the website still states in process. I orderd software from NY after this order that shipped out media mail and I recived it already. Its not fedex, and I wonder if I will ever get the free optical mouse?

my order was placed 10 days ago and i choose there 3 days shipping and there web site shows that it has not even shipped yet and i was told because of one of the items not being in stock that i would have to wait for the 6 to see it shipped and it has yet to be shipped

I got the cheapest batteries (NB-4L and NB-5L)in the market for my canon camera (less than $10)from Computer Brain plus the great price for Kingston SD Card and the 2GB Kingston Flash memory. The shopping is so easy; the greatest thing is that when I add products into my shopping cart and still have not place an order, within that week I can go back to the site and find all the stuffs in my shopping card still there so I don't have to re-add them again. Shipping is reasonably priced and the shipping timing is reasonable. I definitely recommend Computer brain to anybody.

Ordered "NetDisk 352UN 2 Bay NDAS Network Enclosure" from Computer Brain through Amazon Marketplace. Seller sent me "NetDisk 351UNE 3.5-Inch USB/eSATA/Ethernet Enclosure For USB or Network Storage", which is a single-bay enclosure. I contacted seller thru Amazon to resolve. Seller paid return shipping, stated they did have the correct item, and would send it to me as soon as they received the first one back. After they received the first item back, however, they again sent the same, wrong item. This time seller stated that they did not have the correct item for sale. They sold the one they were holding for me to another buyer and told me that they no longer have this item for sale. SHAME ON THEM. AVOID THIS SELLER!
