Health and safety consultation is terrible and think twice before taking this on, no visits or consultation over 12 months but charged for.

Also be aware of Croner’s entrapment in their terms and conditions (auto renewal) I’ve tried cancelling one month in advance to be told I need to give 6 months notice, ok I thought I’ll have to pay for the next 6 months… no the contract will renew before that notice period and I have to pay for the next 2 yrs with a 7% increase on top, if I want early termination they want 80% of the 2 yr renewal

Stay clear if you have any sense

I've met with Claire Matthews (my employment consultant) a few times now and she's always been helpful, with an easy manner, recognising that I'm an experienced HR Manager and working with me.
We get a lot done in our meetings and always come away feeling she has supported me to a high standard

The quality of the help that I received from Kate directly was 4 stars; however, the general service levels provided by Croner aren't great. Kate helped with a documentation query that had originally been raised with our account manager on 22 March, who consistently said she would follow up on it and never did. She was then furloughed and we weren't notified; I only received an OOO when I tried following up on it again and was instructed to email a different address.

My call with Fiona Burns today was incredibly informative and opened my eyes to the importance of a really well drawn Health and Safety policy particularly at this difficult time.

Had a second follow meeting with Timothy Yarnell after an audit was issued for health and safety. Timothy delivered in depth feedback, very helpful, overall a pleasant experience.

Really disappointed have been promised simple documentation and now been waiting for last 2 weeks without any email. I have repeatedly called and I have assured someone call me. Nothing for weeks.

I know Covid has caused major issues with all businesses but when you have to wait days to hear back on an issue it is not helpful and then everytime deal with a new person and have to explain the situation over and over.

Mark is extremely professional, very polite and punctual and his knowledge about Health and Safety is huge/immense but above all he has got the ability to explain things which are extremely difficult to people who are not familiar with these complex issues.

Mark is helping us on the very best of his ability and he is always there when we need an advice or a professional opinion.

Due to Covid-19 it was necessary to contact Croner several times over a short space of time , regarding complex HR matters . Their advice was invaluable during this difficult period and helped us choose the best courses of action to take for our employees and our business

I was impressed with Nick's knowledge of Furlough or short term dismissal during Corvid-19 crisis. He promptly sent me all the necessary documents to resolve my issue. A round of applause for Nick (at the frontline helping business)

It took a couple of phone calls to the helpline to receive a call back to discuss my query, but once Rebecca from the document review team rang and understood what was needed, the job was completede in a couple of hours.

I am a long term member of Croner, service always been good previously but this time, my calls went through to the ‘overflow line‘ and was told I’d have my call(s) returned. But despite my 3 phone in attempts to speak to someone, each time being told my call will be returned, I did not receive any call back (still haven’t).
I needed urgent support regarding an employees Absence/SSP issue that couldn’t wait any longer. So instead I had to have my answer queried from another (free) service helpline, which was a shame. I weren’t going to bother reporting it as an issue but because I’ve received two emails prompting me to give feedback on the service I’d (not) received, I thought I would bring it up as an issue.
