Purchased a small appliance online. No acknowledgement of the purchase or any delivery information. I first needed to alert them that I made the purchase then I had contact them twice to get the item shipped. I took about 10 days to get the item delivered. I notice all the effort spent responding to negative reviews on Trustpilot. maybe try communicating with your customers in the first place rather than wasting time with pointless responses here.

Abysmal service. Ordered a washer dryer on 13/08/20. Delivery due 24/08/20. took time off work to receive the delivery, never came, no explanation why. after numerous calls was told there was a mixup and new date would be 29/08/20. Another day off work, and no delivery. Same story, mixup blah blah, new date 03/09/20. Machine arrived on the 3rd, stopped working on the 7th. More calls, more emails to sort it, was promised a replacement (inferior model) for 15/09/20. ANOTHER mixup occurred with their warehouse and was told my replacement will arrive 17/09/20....well that's today and surprise surprise... still no machine. Absolute joke of a company, and I'll be sorting the issue out in small claims court.

Products ordered 3 weeks ago, keep getting response saying waiting for it to get delivered to the warehouse. Had 2 deliveries of bulbs and plugs to the house but not the main items. Contacted them again told I would receive confirmation of my delivery slot as it would be delivered on Saturday, guess what, no confirmation of delivery slot and no delivery. Shocking service.

Navan, a 900 euro tumble dryer delivered and left in utility, no test, no installation (no box?). Item needs,to go on top of washing machine (as explained when I bought it) and it is quite heavy. I was not offered in store or I would have purchased a full installation package on top of 25 euro delivery, Suggested to go to Harvey Norman to get that service.... Also, denied right to return the item. Only phone call to HQ resolved issue and hopefully they will come back to collect item over soon. Price good compared to competitor, post-sale service not good at all.

I ordered a dishwasher, the order date was delayed twice, when it was finally delivered it was faulty and now I'm waiting for the machine to be returned. Again they keep giving me a pick up date but nobody turns up to pick up the faulty machine and replace it with the new machine. DID have not responded to any of my emails, voice messages and wont return any of my calls. I strongly advise anyone to stay away from DID. They are horrendus to deal with!!

A set of pots were supposed to come with the induction hob I ordered. The hob was delivered but no pots. It took me 5 separate efforts at contracting DID before they send me the pots, two weeks later. There was no accountability or connection between any of the channels i contacted; the customer contact number, the email, the twitter a/c and the facebook a/c.

Waited 11 weeks for a integrated dishwasher to be delivered and fitted when it finally arrived guy took 1 look & said he couldn’t do it because it was raised off the floor then had to wait another 2 days for it to be delivered again during this time we had no contact from anyone even after leaving numerous messages because no one would answer the phone it’s an absolute disgrace I would not buy or advise anyone to buy as much as a battery from them again it was their Lucan branch they clearly don’t value any of their customers I would have given a minus 5 star if I could

Ordered a TV on 20.4, expected delays due to the situation, but still yet to receive it, and on the numerous times of phoning we've used 40 in credit, just to get through the rare occasion and be told it's on it's way.
I did get through to a very helpful lady in Tallagh who assured us it would be in the Wexford store to collect today as they had never actually packed it onto the van in the beginning, only the label had made it to the courier some how.

Haven't heard a thing from them to confirm if it's there, and another near hour on hold today with two phones ringing two different departments to try and get confirmation.

We understand the situation, but if you aren't able to run efficiently, don't take orders.

Recently needed to purchase a new washing machine, a daunting experience trying to research online & buy sight unseen due to Covid 19. Best electrical company proved to be DID due to actually being able to speak to a human for information and advice. Excellent customer service.
Also, transaction was on Thursday evening, item delivered on Saturday morning! . Have recommended to everyone and will continue to do so. Well done for keeping the human touch.

Really helpful. I'm currently working as a nurse and was in the situation of a broken washing machine and no way to wash my work uniform and having no clue how to install a new machine . Phoned Jason to explain my predicament . I phoned on a Sunday and by Tuesday I had a new machine that was installed and ready to go ! Can't reccomend enough! Thank you so much

4 stars because there are basic's that need to be improved:
Contacting the same person was a challenge as the numbers called (which the website identifies as being specific individuals) divert to different people & locations each time - this caused difficulties ordering (as we were considering a couple of machines),and later paying (taken by a different person); 5 minutes before delivery the driver called and we only found out then that they could not enter the house - that was a problem as there are steps at the front & in the hallway for getting the heavy fridge freezer into the kitchen. It also meant that we had 5 minutes to get the old one out onto the footpath, and were unsure if the driver would refuse to take it. I understand that with Covid-19 that this is for staff safety, but it was not clear on the website that was the case, which would have give us more time. Driver was nice guy, and he did take the old machine.

I am giving one star cause I cannot give zero unfortunately. I ordered two items on April 4th. Never got them. Did provided the wrong address (Lucan instead of Dublin 18...) to DPD and the items disappeared...I have been following up every week for the last month and a half...no luck...I have obviously asked for a refund but nothing happened so far. Calling them is just a waste of time and money!awful experience

I’m a frontline worker and my washing machine broke, clearly important for me to wash my uniforms, DID were Extremely efficient got my washer dryer delivered in 2days every person I dealt with from sales to delivery were lovely would Highly recommend

Excellent service. Ordered washing machine on Sunday night. Phoned DID support line on Monday morning, spoke with lovely gentleman. He informed me that my product would be delivered on Friday( it could have been delivered Wednesday but I was not available), I asked about installation he said he would check and ring me straight back, which he did. Got a text on Friday at 8.45 saying delivery would be between 9 & 12. Delivery arrived at 9.15 & was installed by another lovely gentleman.
Would highly recommend DID. Professional service would definitely use again
