We had built 2 investment properties in Melbourne, but as we intend to retire to Queensland in a couple of years we decided to build our third close to Brisbane in Beaudesert. Our first build was not a good experience, the second slightly better but we have recently completed our third with G Developments and are extremely happy with all aspects of the build (especially compared to our previous experiences). All staff have been very helpful and Ben who we dealt with was very nice. Very quick to come back to us with any questions. Thank you to everyone involved. If we sell our two Victorian investment properties in the future, we will be back to build more in the sunny state!

We have found G Development to be a pleasure to work with from the beginning, particularly Samantha who responds to my numerous emails as quick as she can always keeping me up to date & never making me feel like I was a bothering her, although I probably was.
We recently received a lovely thank you gift from Samantha at handover which was very unexpected but greatly appreciated.

Whilst the process was very speedy once construction started, I did find the process from Signing building contracts to slab laid was too long and if this process could have been sped up I would have applied a 5 star rating, but the time taken was far too long and not within the guild lines we were initially advised.
Our contracts were signed and back to your office by January 2017 with no variations at all, yet our slab was only laid in June 2017, that 6mths was too long to get the house off the ground - so to speak.

But overall once the build started , we have been very happy with the finishes & design.

We are building our dream house in Rochedale Estate and it's already 7 months and it's still going. Honestly speaking it's no more a dream wish. It's now nightmare, lots of stress and financial drain on us. The office staff are unfriendly, not helpful and only hide behind their desks, communication via emails. No personalise service and concern of their clients' welfare. Till today we have not a single one who call us from the office who know of our frustration, ask us what's your problem and how can we help you, how can we solve it for you? We have to do the chasing and keep asking them what's happening to our house, what's the progress??
If they want to complete our house is a timely manner, they can. G Development is dragging their feet.

We visit the construction site a few days in a week as we live close by but the house was left idle for days and weeks at times. Even the opposite neighbour mentioned why there was not much progress to our house week after week. God knows how long we still have to wait and now the builder is claiming 21 days due to Christmas Industry Shutdown.
G Development's Mission " On Time, On Budget and With Minimal Fuss" is a joke.
We will not recommend this builder to anyone even though we have so many migrant friends who are looking for builders.

Built an investment property with G Developments 3 years ago. Since this time we have had the Cook Top, Dishwasher and A/C remote fail. Since these items are out of warranty G Developments has decided to offer no compensation for the failures. We thought that it would not be fair to request compensation for all items but only for the dishwasher which we feel should have lasted longer than it did. We were provided nothing. Not an offer to replace, share the cost or any other solution that might potentially satisfy a customer. They have now lost our business for the construction of additional properties for our portfolio. If G Developments is going to build homes with the cheapest appliances available they should own some of the responsibility for product failure. The build quality and home inclusions are terrible. I have made it my mission to educate my investment colleagues to stay away from this company. If I can save 1 potential home buyer the headache of dealing with this train wreck of a company it will be worth it. Do yourself a favor, read the other negative reviews and STAY AWAY!

I have built two invesment houses and my home with G. My tenents love the lay out of the homes. the biuld procces was easy and simple. I would reckomend G to any one.

I built what I thought was going to be an executive home in the newcastle area with G Developments. They did not uphold the requirements of any stage, the work is of exceedingly poor quality, unfinished and the entire home has been built without care. We are now 7 months past hand over and some of the practical completion items are still unfinished. Throughout the ordeal the office staff were rude, and quite often simply refused to take a call. The finished product had surfaces unpainted, a leaking shower, fraying carpet, skirting boards chipped and not fitting correctly, chipped concrete, holes in doors, broken door handles, vanity missing edge strip, gutters not connected, the list goes on.

They built a property for us, but they are not responsive at all after signing the contract and receiving the money, one day before settlement and we have not received certificate of occupancy.
