We built our first dream duplex home with Better Built Homes probably theirs too, completed just over 1 year ago and settled in well. As it was our first home and that too a duplex; I had to do a lot of homework, later found many builder's don’t do duplex it was disappointing for me then my colleague found better built homes based on their good reviews in productreview.com so first of all thanks to productreview.com for helping us to find this builder. Then I and my friend met Aaron from the initial meeting with the owner of the company we felt very welcome, comfortable and confident and knew we will be building with better built homes and we both ended up building with BB Homes. We both don’t regret the decision and in fact, it turned out to be one of the best decision I have ever made hence a big thanks to Aaron. Then our journey was as usual; it was pleasant; had some hiccups from council later from the bank because of under-valuation. That was the most stressful time during our entire project. I was dealing with Bianca from BB Home at that time and she understood my situation and happy to wait for me to arrange the adequate fund and resolve the problem. I was under tremendous pressure and I was not in any position to take any more pressure from the builder and they supported me well during my difficult time hence a big thanks to Bianca. Mine was a custom duplex and also there was no cost variation during the course of construction which helped us to stick to the budget; the project completed in about 9 to 10 months as planned and that was surprising because I know some other builders take 18 months to complete custom duplex.

Since I built two I may not go again soon but if I do I will definitely choose Better Build Homes. Thanks once again Aaron, Anthony, Bianca, Michael & The Better Built Team.

We are currently building our first home with better built and perfection in everything is what we have experienced so far. Better built homes has an excellent team that makes the process of building a new home very pleasant. I am at present in the third phase of the project and so far we have no issues at all. We will write more about the builder as our home progresses.

We built our home close to 1.5 years ago with better built homes . better Built Homes went beyond their professionalism with buying our home we had no dramas no stress and we're always available to answer any questions or meet up with us! Our inclusions went beyond any other builder we were stress free with building and our home was finished exactly when they said give and take Christmas period etc! When we decided to build our new home in Sydney's West we already knew that BetterBuilt Homes would be our builder.
We had heard a lot about BetterBuilt Homes through friends and family who had built with the company and they came highly recommended.
We were looking for a builder who had great designs and was easy to work with and they were great value for money which is important. We also wanted a builder who specialised in building new homes in the western suburbs.
Better Built Homes met all our criteria and could not have been more helpful. Everyone we dealt with explained everything in detail and explained the various stages of construction to us so that we knew what was happening.
We love the designer kitchen of our two storey, four bedroom home. In particular we are really pleased with the Caesarstone bench and the extra cabinetry we arranged to be built-in.
As a result we have a beautiful, sleek and functional kitchen with loads of storage space. We love having people over and always get great reviews about our kitchen and it is perfect for family meals and entertaining.
We were very happy with the BetterBuilt workmanship and the quality inclusions. I would certainly recommend the company to any family planning to build a new home and I would give them five out of five overall. It was a great experience and we love our home.

This review is a little overdue, now being almost 4 years on since we moved into our Better Built Home, but its never too late to pass on to others the good news of our very positive experience.
With the advantage of being in our Dream Home for all that time, we can we write about the Process of design and building our home with Better Built, and also write about how happy and lucky we feel almost 4 years later.
Like many others we spent a lot of time wondering the many builders show homes, searching for just the right home for us. Unfortunately, we just couldn’t find a house that met our requirements and any questions regarding changes were met with comments saying that’s difficult and costly.
Luckily we were told about a company called Better Built and we were put in contact with Aaron.
With Aaron and Better Built we had all our many questions answered (and there were a lot and Aaron never stopped smiling), we were given honest and factual information. We were able to take the standard Better Built designs and incorporate all of our customisations and they didnt take us over our budget. Aaron’s response was always that ‘yep we can do that’. Aaron gave us confidence with his wealth of building knowledge that we were in safe hands. All costs were up front and no surprises!
Once the Design and costing process was completed, Mel guided us through the process of selecting our colours, finishes and inclusion selections. With Mel being a qualified interior designer, she was able to give us great ideas and guidance to help us achieve what we were aiming for.
The build was stress free. We had regular updates on the build progress and any questions or concerns we had were quickly answered and resolved. Site supervision was excellent and any of those little hic ups that go with any build were dealt with professionally and without issue.
The minor and small numbers of maintenance issues were handled by Anthony. Anthony completed all the items on the list, to a high standard of workmanship and didn’t leave any mess!
Now after almost 4 years, we are still so very happy with our choice of home and that we had it built by Better Built. What we have would not have been possible if we had gone with other builder. Many People who have come to our home have made mention of the quality finishing’s that they don’t see in other homes by other builders. We highly recommend Better Built and if we ever needed to build again we would definitely build with Better Built.

This is the second time we have built with Better Built Homes, the first was five years ago. Yet again, they have gone above and beyond to create a home we are really happy with. The build was well managed, we were kept up to date on a weekly basis and the end result is fantastic. We've had lots of people comment on the quality of the build, and we couldn't be happier. We recently finished building our first home with Better Built Homes and it has been an amazing experience. I cannot fault their communication throughout the build. We were provided with an update every week and we felt we were part of this wonderful building journey. Everyone that we have dealt with at BB has been really helpful. We did have few issues during the build but BB always provided us a solution to fix them. We always felt we were supported and guided by an experienced person. In the process of our build we meet up with various staff members including Mel in the office and our wonderful site manager Andrew in which they all were very experienced in the building industry and no problem was too big or small and handled all matters involved in our build very professionally including the demolish and removal of an old garage on the property.

After months of visiting display homes on a weekly basis and reading endless customer reviews online on builders, we decided to engage Better Built homes.

We have heard horror reviews with friends and family having built prior to us so we braced ourselves on what was to come, to our surprise we experienced the opposite. We dealt with the same 4 people during the building process and their response was prompt and always very helpful guiding us through the entire building process. Our site supervisor was extremely helpful and regularly updated us with the progress.

Build quality was excellent and was completed in the same quality and standard as the display home. During the final inspection, only minor paint corrections were required. The quality control supervisor (Braiden) was easy to deal with and very accommodating to our requests. He returned personally to inspect and ensure that we were happy with the rectification works. We will not hesitate to build with Better built homes again!!!

As first time builders, we did a lot of research on choosing a company that would tick off a number of key items for us:
- design a home that would suit our family
- no hidden costs, fixed price
- Clear Communication and keep us informed
- make it seamless for us
- and no nonsense

We must have gone to every display home and company - the difference with Better Built was the relationship we struck with Neel and Shamini Lochan - they treated our home design like it was theirs. They were honest, open , upfront, provided feedback & challenged us - it all lead to a final design and price that wee were so happy with. We were then worried that once Neel past our file into to Head office, we would become a number (as we had heard stories from friends where there were delays).

This was far from the case, as we then dealt with Mel, Jeff, Renee & Lesley who were just amazing who then helped us through the next stage of the process - but again the process to get to the "start build" stage was seamless - they took care of everything. There are stressful times here, electrical appointment, tiling, interiors - but the BBH team will guide you through it - just be prepared.

Our build was for 36 weeks - and the BB team kept to it. Our site supervisor Don was simply brilliant, he would keep us informed of the progress via updates from Renee, but the thing Don did the best was the 1%'s. For example, we had a feature tile that when we did an inspection, Don had called out that the tiles were sticking out and he would be getting the tilers back to fix it. My wife and I were a tad sceptical as that would mean a lot of work to fix a couple of tiles. But sure enough, when we were doing our handover, we touched those tiles and they were indeed level - so even though they had made a mistake, it was the way they were honest and went about fixing it. We also had a couple of calls from Aaron the owner who gave us updates and to check in - one time he called to say would we like our outdoor windows painted as he thought it will make the house stand out - we completely agreed. But it was the personal touch that the owner of the company would take their time to call us made us feel pretty special.

Another key thing that we were so happy about were the tradies - such amazing people and so nice - I met a number of them as i used to drive by every day - they were so nice and took care of our place - at the end of the day it's the tradies that ultimately put your place together - you cannot get a nicer bunch of people. And I'm building in an area that also has other houses going up with other companies - and I can tell you some of my neighbours are going through hell with their builder.

After we moved in, we met Brayden who helped us fix up some minor defects - a superb individual who will do everything to make sure our house is truly perfect.

If you are considering building you cannot go past Better Built - the end to end process and results are exactly what we had hoped for. There will be some trying times through the build, but these guys will always tell you as it is - and they get stuff done with the highest quality and fix mistakes quickly

Had a great experience with BetterBuilt from the start, Neel Lochan helped us with the minute details of our land and took us through intricate details about helping us design our dream home. All the costs were mentioned and explained upfront without any late or last minute surprises, inclusions were good. We had the positive feeling from the very first time we spoke to Neel, who was giving us very good advice and also worked hard until late at night to prepare a plan to suit our requirements. The other good thing was that the contract signing was only upon receipt of DA approval, which ensured that there were no hidden costs and all upgrades were locked in. Once the construction process started Renee helped us through the process with good guidance and assistance in resolving our queries and any issues over and above what her responsibilities were. Don was amazing in explaining how the construction process worked during each stage and ensured issues identified by the external building inspector hired by us were fixed. We have now completed the warranty period and no major issues were identified and all small issues were happily fixed by Brayden, including small scratches on the walls etc., which were caused while shifting our house. Overall I can say I am really happy having to deal with a team of honest people, who have delivered a quality house in less than 8 months. Special thanks to Neel, Renee and Don for making our dream come true!

Building a home is generally a once in a lifetime experience and so it should be one that you enjoy from start to finish. Key to any experience are the people you deal with and how well the communication channels are. We’re very thankful to the Better Built team for helping us through this experience. Their level of communication has been first class - timely, considerate and responsive.

Being such a large project, things may go wrong. We’ve had some issues post hand-over and I believe this is where the team have really rose to the occasion. The inclement weather of late saw some water enter our garage and I called Aaron, the owner, on a weekend. He understood the distress I was in and came and rectified the leak for me on the day. The tradies came the following few days and permanently fixed the problem. Whilst we never want to deal with issues, its so reassuring to know that if there are issues, the team are responsive and professional when needed. Brayden, our maintenance supervisor was super.

If you’re looking to build your home and want your builder to be trustworthy, responsive, professional, on-time and demonstrates a high level of care, I would highly recommend Better Built.

This is review from us as young couple as a first eye witness to our first time ever to build our first home. Lots of prior 3 years of research on who's excellent, average and everything in between) a lot of rejection to what I though was straight flat block I bought on my own. I was given a brush off non official referral from a another builder that refused to take me on because of my local council location (old western sydney suburb). When I saw the better built homes quality at the display home at oran park, I felt at ease of what I was expecting. After that, from sales to site construction, the process and guiding through was down to earth to vip treatment by each of the staff. So a big thank you goes to: neal, jeff, lesley, mel, renee, emma, lauree and of course our site manager peter who all paid attention to every thing from the little details to everything that we wanted during the process. I must say that better built took the reasonably narrow block that I had and said no problem. They went to council with detailed paper work, they estimated 10 weeks and came back with approval in 6 weeks! I thought that was a record (personal experience). I must admit they move reasonably fast in comparison with other various comparisons with other building homes experiences I heard off. They pay attention to everything and document everything as well as any excellent builder should. They're very understanding to a reasonable measure, you want to "Prep" your house for a smart home future, they'll help put provisions you say you need. We loved the process they walk us through out the whole a-z process and a little bit more. There financial account is also accurate. If there is a dollar they're not going or didn't use. You'll find them telling you and crediting it. If all builders are like that we would be in heaven of home building "Experiences" in australia. We loved the weekly report update. There build quality workmanship are also top of the mark for what you choose. All we had to do was let them do the job they do best. We thought we loved the finishing of our house. Better built also have multiple rechecking process of the final workmanship of the final outcome of the finishing. Our family and friends loved our home. Would I build with them again yes. No hesitations. I now know that jayden and aaron (who we never met). Have a good team working for them, also a backup centred knowledge file arrangement should any staff member leave. My suggestion goes to them never ever change your client current experience process from start to finish as your grow. It had been over a year now since our house was finished and what can we say amazing!!

My wife and I were looking for a builder for about a year.
We really struggled to find a decent honest builder we considered doing owner builder towards the end of it then we found better built.

Our building process from start to finish was made so easy with the team from better built homes Every one from the office team and our building manager who was always keeping us to date ever week.

We have been in our house for over a year now and wow the work is excellent the service after the build is amazing and just top quality all round.

The only thing we had an issue with is the range hood we have had 2 service calls for the lights falling out and the microwave stainless tell is sort of fading/peeling off in colour.

Which not the builders fault but maybe the brand maybe could be revied by the builder.
