Building with Smart Homes has been amazing journey although there was a slight hiccup in design at the beginning due to council rejection (Ivano, my consultant did his best and put up a good fight to convince the council), the special custom design redesign turned out to be better and create more space in the house. From slab down to practical completion inspection, the build quality was top-notch - no major faults found by my independent building inspector and minor fixes spotted during each phase were rectified immediately by site supervisor, Tony. Building inspector gave a 'Pretty Good' during PCI. Build took 21 weeks, very impressed with the progress and handover was done without any issues. Love the 'smart doorbell' gift :)

Very happy with the flexibility, top quality selections (flooring/tiles/tapwares/sink/basin) and brands (Miele) provided by Smart Homes - many options available to make a designer home. The inclusions are amazingly valued compared to other builders.

The team (Ivano, Sarah, Kylie and Tony) are awesome people to work with, they listened and put in more than 100% to make my dream home a success. My questions were always answered with detailed explanation and honesty and suggestions were always provided when needed.

We are so impressed with the experience that we are building again with Smart Homes for our home down south! For those who are thinking of building with Smarts, I highly recommend Team Smarts!!!

Smart Homes have helped us over the last 2 years, from getting our finances right to helping us when we were knocked back on valuation. They have been very patient throughout the whole process and have helped us to finally get us to the building stage where we are early to mid build. Our build couldn't have gone any better or smoother from the start to finish, including the level of communication between SMART and ourselves, thanks to Adam & the great team they have.
For peace of mind we got an independent inspector to the PCI meeting and the end result was great, highly praised Josh for the work carried out and completed which made us feel even better with our home.
We have been in our home for a couple months now and only one or two very minor issues arised and were sorted promptly. As with everything there is a couple of negatives but nothing to do with the build or process we went through or the team at smart itself.
Overall happy with build/costs and most of all our HOME :) We have been and will continue to highly recommending SMART HOMES to our friends/family and anyone who is thinking of building :) Cheers

Good and timely responses even out of business hours making my pre construction process easy and a pleasure to deal with. High recommend seeking him out for a consultation, he is very knowledgeable and wasnt trying to up sell anything to me or hide any hidden costs, was totally upfront about everything

I decided to build with Smart homes January 2019 after I started looking into the idea of building November 2018. I met Jeremy from Smart Homes during one of my enquires. Jeremy spent a lot of time explaining the benefits, how it all works and what would be required. He also assisted me with being suitable for a mortgage such as recommending that I clear my debts and begin a budget. Jeremy assured me that my experiences with them would be fun and stress free, and he was right. It was exciting! Right from the start through to when I collected my keys and beyond that, Smart Homes have been available for any questions or concerns I had at the time. Jeremy was always checking up on the progress for me as sometimes I was away for work. Since I’ve moved in, any issues I’ve had I’ve just sent through and they have been happy to help out! They don’t just finish and forget.
As I was single and only 21 going into this process, my budget was tight and I expressed that worry from the start. Jeremy did everything he could to give me what I wanted in a home while also making it fit into my budget and I am so happy with the end result! I couldn’t be happier.

I was very impressed with smart homes from the get go are the build was managed very well everything was very thorough and very organised on on a timeline I suppose Workmanship was very good a few little hick ups but they were attended to straightaway by the supervisor and once the office has contacted there was no major issues pre-or post or during construction a few little minor things which like I said again were Attended to straightaway the site was always kept clean of any rubbish and debris and everything seem to move on I think the longest we waited was two or three days which will rain days it other than that everything went pretty smooth And the final cost was pretty much in line with what we all sort of sat down and agreed with was very happy with it all smart homes have done an excellent job and also like to say thanks to the Sales Nick and the supervisor Scott

Built with Smart Homes 3 years ago and loved it. My rep Gordon was awesome and really looked after me with all my questions. The build process was easy and the end product was better than I expected. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

As a first time builder I had no idea where to start. Ivano Rizzacasa was recommended to me by a work colleague. Ivano made the process seamless in choosing what kind of homes I wanted to build, and what kind of home I could afford to build. His relaxed approach shone through, compared to the used car salesman approach I received from another building company's consultant.

Sarah Bailey was a godsend at prestart. Most people would be excited about choosing colours, tiles etc, but I was terrified of making the wrong choices, and felt overwhelmed with so many choices. Her guidance got me to an interior finish I am in love with.

Kylie Mason was my liaison officer throughout the build and was prompt addressing any issues or questions I raised.

The build ran smoothly and quickly, with settlement of land purchase on 30 June and keys in my hands the week before Christmas. I had an independent building inspector at PCI who advised the build had no issues apart from minor surface defects, which were rectified. Smart have corrected any issue I have found to date promptly (window issue and driveway issue) and I'm just about to do my 6 month maintenance report. Again only minor issues to report (drip at a gutter join, door lock not straight).

I would recommend Smart Homes based upon my experience with them.

This is the 3rd time I've built a property and each time was with a different builder, until now. I'd just like to express my total satisfaction with Smart Homes BA 19/00293. We build our home with them and we are now 5 weeks after handover. Everyone from the sales team (Nicole) to the Admin staff (Kylie) were very pleasant to deal with. We have already recommended Smart Homes to a number of our friends and will definitely build with them again.

My partner and I were in that faze where we werent sure of how to buy a home should we build should we buy established, as soon as we stepped foot into the smart homes display home where Nik worked, we were instantly hooked, he made the whole process so easy explaining how everything is and how to make the best out of building our first home with smart,

My partner and I were hesitate at first to look into building as first home builders after some bad experiences with other companies but right from the get go, Smart Homes has been amazing. Everyone from our home consultant, Emily Read, our finance broker John Rose, Prestart and everyone all the way through construction have been so amazing! They were all so informative and answered any questions we had! So far we are so impressed with the quality and time everything has taken. We would definitely recommend time and time again :)

After being disappointed with our first home from a different builder 4 years ago, looks like fate has given us another chance to make our Dream House come true and this time with the help of Jeremy. ^_^ Right on our very first meeting in his office, my husband and I were both impressed about the results that made us more determined and excited towards building a beautiful house with Smart Homes. The house design offered to us and its inclusions were indeed very much impressive and the cost of the house itself is just right. From the finance approval, to pre-start meeting; and even up to the construction period, we never had any problems during the process as all the staff involved are very accommodating and helpful. But what's more exciting? The construction time frame is very much on schedule that everything just run so really quick. Credits to our building supervisor, Philip Robson for being so hands-on at the site. ^_^

At this point in time, my family cannot still believe that we are so close to owning a huge house that we can really be proud of. Something that we can confidently pass on to our children's children and to the next generation to come. We can't wait for the practical completion and the key handover soon then we can invite our friends during the House Warming and share with them the wonderful experience we have with Smart Homes.

We are now at the construction stage of building our first home with Smart homes for living. So far everything has gone smoothly and to plan. We have found everyone from smart homes really helpful with making decisions and explaining things we havent been sure about. There were lots of options at prestart, some we were surprised to see included as standard. We had the floor plans altered to suit our needs with a lot of people commenting on how well we used the space. Overall we would highly recommend Smart homes for living to anyone looking to build!

We designed our first home with Leon & Fadi. Couldn’t speak highly enough of these two guys. Every idea we had they managed to incorporate and include in a custom floor plan. Everything was stress free! Same goes for prestart, our ideas were never shut down but rather encouraged and made possible! The patience and interest we received from all angles of pre construction was all we could have ever hoped for. We are now in Early stages or construction and couldn’t be more excited. So we stumbled into our 4th meeting of the week with a different builder, absolutely unsure of what to expect. Our first 3 meetings were entirely structured around scare tactics and who could hang the most hell off each other. We had plans from all three builders and some of the plans were missing doors and others were what that particular builder wanted us to build. Being first home builders, me and my partner were quite put off the whole thing by this point. Anyways, our 4th meeting was with Smart Homes. We arrived and were met by Gordon, he was our sales person. He was like everything youd look for in a partner, except he was our salesperson. Hes a 10/10 bloke. Gordon didnt talk down the competition and instead just built us a house that we wanted. He listened to our concerns and answered our never ending list of questions. He felt more like a mate than a salesperson which lead to us signing up with Smart Homes.

We have now been in our home for almost two months and are loving it. The building process was so easy with smart homes. We were constantly updated and kept in the loop with everything. If there was an issue or there was something we didnt like, we would let them know and it would be fixed almost immediately.

I will recommend Smart Homes to anyone who asks me who they should build with.

My partner and I met Neil Morris at the first display home we went to whilst looking for a builder and after looking around we decided to go with Neil and Smart Homes for Living. He was approachable, professional and laid back which made us feel comfortable and confident in him. He was flexible with times for meetings which helped us a lot and always went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. Neil's design ideas were fantastic and we are so impressed with how the house turned out. The prestart process was seamless with Tess. She had great advice for us and we are so happy with all the decisions we made. We then liased with Phoebe through the construction process who was always prompt in answering our many queries. She was super professional and we really appreciated all the time she took in communicating with us and helping us. Scott was our building supervisor and he was always prompt for meetings and helpful with any concerns we had. The build itself was amazingly stress free and quick. The slab went down November 2017 and we moved in April 2018. We've had minor issues since the build (eg. aircon zones incorrect) but these have all been fixed relatively quick. The only real negative I have in regards to the build is that the fly screens are of low standard in my opinion. They use 4 pieces of rubber to hold it into the window frame as it's too small and would rattle otherwise. Also, 6 months after handover Ventura Home Group take over and their communication has been poor. Often they don't respond to emails or take weeks to do so. Our experience with Smart Homes for Living has been hard to fault and I highly recommend them!

As I am still quite young I found it very daunting making such a big commitment to building my first home but Neil Morris made it extremely easy for me and he was so helpful and understanding.. and not to mention hilarious! He focused on what I wanted and helped me through the whole process with no issues, he was solely focused on what I was wanting to achieve. Neil was there when and if i needed him and was happy to answer all of my questions (and i can tell you that there were alot haha). The process has been great and I have now got my slab down- it has all happened so fast! I cant wait for my first home to pop up, it is such an exciting experience! I cant recommend Neil Morris and Smart Homes enough, great job guys :)
