The order took about 4 weeks which I didn't think was too bad especially at this time . The wine is well worth the wait as it's excellent & the food items are delicious. Will definitely buy again.

Delivery within 2 weeks, have enjoyed the wine very good quality and the goodies, about to reorder another box, there Prosecco is one of the best I've tasted.

I ordered wine two weeks ago and it still hasn't got to the delivery company.
I wonder where it is, maybe sat in the sun somewhere.

It's now over a month and I have not received anything...

My wine went out in the GLS van today, they drove round and then took it to St Fons, 600km away. I have just cancelled my order. I don't know if the clowns at Giordano or those at GLS are to blame but this is the last time I try to purchase wine online.

After reading the negative reviews on here I was a little concerned however I'm happy with the service received

Regular emails from Giordano updating me on my order and delays (which were expected with what's happening at the moment re Covid-19)

I placed on 7th April and received a notification on the 17th to advise it had been packed and another on the 24th to say it was in transit... I was expecting the delivery tomorrow (30th) but it arrived this morning

Great service from Yodel - package in great condition as were the contents

I haven't tried the wine yet as I'm working from home and it's a bit early in the day but overall so far a great experience!

Very good quality wine, took about 3 weeks to arrive, which is understandable given the current situation but could have been a bit more explicit when I placed the order. Fortunately I have been stockpiling via Laithwaites and Naked at the same time so the delay wasn't too serious for me! Lovely Puglia IGT Rosso with dinner last night made it more than worth the wait!

I will agree that service was slower that I might have liked, but the world is in lock down, so three and a bit weeks doesn't seem ridiculous to me.... I can't believe other customers are being so unreasonable with their complaints.

The package arrived today, well packaged. The biscuits were delicious with a lunch time coffee and the wine was recommended by a friend so I can't wait to try a glass tonight.

This company has pulled out the stops in the current situation over covid 19, they are an Italian wine distributor so must have had massive issues on delivery, our wine was late but considering the problems Italy has been facing it was amazing it was only 2 weeks late some people have been bad mouthing this company which is not acceptable and very selfish, plus the wine is delicious will certainly order more

Ordered April 1st (April fool is me). No acknowledgement for 3 weeks although money deducted from my credit card soon enough. Emailed for a refund 2 weeks ago, told I should receive my money back. It has not arrived. Received email stating it had been despatched. Followed tracking link to find Yodel have returned to sender. Now chasing refund again entering 5th week since order placed. Do not use in the current climate. Poor customer service, poor delivery service, and seemingly little recourse to getting a refund beyond trying to get a charge back from credit card provider. They are seriously decimating their reputation currently.

As for the reply below, a response on here happened quick enough, but no such urgency in responding to customer queries direct.

I placed an order on 7 May for delivery as a birthday present on 15 May. I received an email on 14 May saying that my parcel had been 'handed' to YODEL for delivery. After ten more days YODELS's tracking showed no trace of my parcel. I phoned YODEL who said that 'they only had a delivery slot reserved'. On 26 May, I phoned Italy who said the parcel was awaiting collection at their warehouse. They said that the 14 May email was a 'system problem'. By 27 May YODEL still had no tracking info so I used Giordano's Chat. I was told that the person I spoke to on the phone was 'confused' and that they could not guarantee delivery. I cancelled all of my orders! Let's see how long the promised refund takes! I won't be ordering from them again. Update - Once I had cancelled my orders, YODEL tracking informed me that my parcel was out for delivery in the UK - but then withdrawn and returned to sender! .. and then out for delivery, again.. who knows where? As businesses both Giordano and YODEL are an utter shambles! 5 June - I phoned again to be told that my 'cancelled' order was "at the airport"! When I pointed out that it was not, Suzanne (Customer Service) eventually told me that I would have to wait for "weeks" for a refund, even though they had breached their own rules by taking my money before the wine was delivered. I will contact my CC company over fraud if no refund appears within seven days.

Received my Giordano delivery today 28th May , took just over 2 wks for delivery so under the circumstances not bad , I ordered 9 bottles of red but only received 8 bottles , only 8 sleeves in the box , contacted customer services Italy to be told “ no refund but will offer 10% discount on your next order “
Don’t want discount off next order want what I paid for !!!! I’m short of 1 bottle of Esclusivo Rossi Puglia .... customer order number 4783512 !!!
Giordano I’ve given you a three stars because your wine is lovely , customer service rubbish !!

Ordered 7/4 still waiting for delivery said it was with Yodel on 15/4 but Yodel have not received it, still waiting! They took the money on 14/4 but no way to contact them. About to request a refund - Today I received my order 29/4/20 all intact and looking good. It’s the not being able to contact anyone but I will use them again.

further to my previous review after posting Giordano wines said a refund would be due in the next couple of days Still no refund !! my experience with other companies is that a Paypal refund is usually same day
It is not the length of delivery time that upsets me had they said 4/5weeks when I ordered I would have been fine with that what I cannot accept is the policy of deliberate misinformation however good the product is .

Right now I'm one of those still hoping for a delivery one day. To be honest their website says it could be 28 days and so far it's only been 25. What worries me is that they use Yodel to deliver to the UK. Yodel told me two weeks ago that they had been notified of my order. And it's still no more than that.
I shall be back!
I was reassured by Giordano's response. The package arrived this afternoon, 1.6.20. I hope the wine is good. Alas! The main reason for ordering was because my wife rather liked the dinner set that shipped with the original deals as obtained by some close friends. But it has run out and a very plain white opal glass set substituted. So the wine is fine but the crockery is a mockery.

Ordered wine on 6th May (Number 9844190)
Giordano confirmed on 20th May that wine in transit to couriers.
Yodel still saying on 26th May that wine is still with sender.

Customer services do not appear to have any business experience and just continue to say Wine will be with you.

Is there any management at Giordano that can get me some reliable information?.

Further order No GB 07458626 placed about a week ago. Should I cancel?

Get to Grips Giordano if you want to keep my custom. In the meantime an answer from a senior manager would be appreciated.

Ordered the festa Del gusto on the 4th May. Kept tracking yodel but it said it was unavailable but we are in the middle of a pandemic so I guessed it would come June time but it came today 26th May. Don’t let the haters put you off.
Excellent value for money And Can’t wait to start trying all the wine out.

Placed my order on the evening of 3rd May. Contacted Yodel around 20th May who could give me no information. Went onto a live chat with Cristiano at Giordano who informed me that my delivery would be here 26th May. Went back onto Yodel next day who then said 27th May. Delivery arrived today, 26th intact. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thanks Giordano ????????????

Ordered a case of wine and goodies early May and it came today.Reasonable time given the current European lockdown.Just opened the Pinot Grigio and it is a great wine.Those who are impatient can always go to a supermarket and buy something mediocre.

I used to use Giordano, several years ago, and had nothing but praise for their service and their wines so I had no hesitation in re opening an account earlier this month. A friend told me that they were still trading through these uncertain times and he had had two deliveries on time and complete.
However, although I received a confirmation email directly after placing my order, followed swiftly by another telling me that it was now with YODEL they say they haven't received my order yet! Despite having a Yodel tracking number -
I can't see any news. Should I be worried??????
