I have been thinking of having a hair transplant for a number of years I finally went ahead having read my reviews of different clinics here and in GB and when I saw the number of people coming to HRBR from the UK I met Dr Collins last week and after a great conversation all my questions were addressed and I’m delighted to say I’m booked for my procedure and can’t wait if your lack of hair is bothering you DO something about it.

I have had two highly informative and productive meetings with Dr.Siún Murphy. I have female pattern hair loss which is unfortunately in the middle of my forehead. Very difficult to disguise. I have been using Regaine for a year. Initial response was slow. I now painstakingly apply with a Q-tip dividing my hair in long creases ear to ear. This has proved very effective and my hair is filling in. I am continuing for another year with the option to go for transplant if I feel the need. I had to get a flimsy fringe cut to disguise the loss. Happily my"widows peak " is returning and I am growing out my fringe. Regaine makes my hair curl and our damp climate causes my hair to frizz so I am relieved to be growing it out.
These are small problems in the scheme of things, as a health care professional myself I am well aware that this is a small issue. Despite this it became a quite a big issue for me. I was always conscious of the bald spot and anxiously watched it and looked at older balder women in horror. I had thyroid blood tests etc but could find no cause. I believe it is an under treated problem in women. Hair changes are dismissed as a side effect of menopause ,stress or diet. Early intervention is better before the hair follicle dies. I am quite evangelical about telling people about how effective Regaine is. I believe its better to be open and remove the taboo of female hair loss. I wish some one had told me earlier. I was stupidly nervous about booking it I dallied. If its an issue go and have a consultation you have nothing to lose except more hair!

I am one year with HRBR and thoroughly content with the level of care I have received by everyone from the receptionists to the Dr s . I am happy to recommend the service to others.

I have been attending HRBR for the past 10 years, visiting every two years. Excellent advise on how to maintain good hair growth with amazing results. The trick is to follow up on using the products in getting the end result, but this is continuous.

I am a 51 year old male and about 10 years ago I noticed my hair had started to thin around my crown area. I began wearing my hair tighter than previously but gradually even this approach failed to conceal the inevitable. I conducted extensive research regarding my options and the name HRBR continually jumped out at me. I was extremely impressed with the glowing reviews HRBR had received from previous clients so i decided to make an appointment in November 2016. My wife and myself attended a consultation with Dr. Maurice Collins and we were both immediately struck by his professionalism and genial personality. We discussed my options at length and eventually he advised the prescription option rather than any procedural intervention. At no stage was there a hard sell towards a transplant, Dr.Collins priority is always the welfare / well being of his patient. The level of discretion afforded by the administration staff was exceptional and greatly appreciated. I followed the prescription route for 2 years and it definitely halted / improved my rate of hair loss. In November of 2018 after further consultation with Dr. Collins I decided to take the plunge and I was booked in for a medium FUE procedure on my crown area. I arrived at HRBR on the morning of my appointment with some trepidation and I was greeted by Renata, one of HRBR nurses. The professionalism and care I was afforded from that moment until my discharge that evening was nothing short of exceptional. The extensive team of doctors and nurses constantly updated me and ensured I was comfortable. I experienced no discomfort whatsoever and even fell asleep on a couple of occasions. To date I have followed all the post procedure instructions and I am thrilled with the results. I would have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Dr. Maurice Collins and the HRBR team of experts. For most individuals the thoughts of a hair transplant is a daunting decision / procedure. I've been getting checkups for the last three years to track how my hair is receding and would highly recommend HRBR. The doctors are friendly and the whole process is very efficient, on time etc. A transplant, should I need one, has been explained in detail and any concerns I had have been addressed.

The consultant surgeon Dr. Joe O'Connor was very knowledgeable, has a lot of expertise with hair restoration and was able to provide information and answer any questions or queries I had. The staff were very quick with responses by email and everyone I met on the day was polite and friendly.

I would highly recommend HRBR, a great consultantt, dr Collins and his staff also, are supportive and caring in dealing with a very sensitive issue.

Aside from the fact that the staff at HRBR have given me a fantastic natural-looking head of hair, and thus, made me feel my age again, rather than ten years older; they were all absolutely lovely people -- kind, thoughtful, and professional through every stage of the process. I cannot praise highly enough the value of this procedure in regard to my overall confidence in everyday situations. It has been completely reestablished, and I feel like my old self again. My experience with HRBR from day one was nothing but positive. I was very nervous meeting Dr Collins but excited at the same time. When i first met him i was around 30 or maybe a little younger. At that time i was wearing a wig which i got from another clinic i felt trapped and thought id never escape it. My hair loss was very bad and confidence was at an all time low. Maurice and the team discussed my options in a very professional and caring manner. They never once told me 'i needed a hair transplant' They were not interested in selling anything to me they were only interested in me as a patient and giving me clear information about my condition. I decided myself i wanted to try their FDA approved medicine, after about 6 months i noticed strong results. At that point i shaved my head and ditched the wig for good. One of the best decisions ever.

I decided that i wanted a hair transplant a little while after that so Maurice and the team agreed once i was 100% sure i wanted it. The morning of the transplant was very exciting for me, the medical team took care of me so well. I couldn't believe how professional and how clean the premises were. Every step was explained to me during the procedure. I didn't suffer any pain. I actually slept for a nice couple of hours which helped during the day. The procedure took around 10 hours. I got a lovely lunch during the day which was welcomed.



I've had 2 transplaint's to date and i'm amazed by the results both inside and out. I'm no longer worried about looking in the mirror.



My advice to anybody would be to do your homework before making any decisions. For me HRBR is the best and most professional clinic there is.

It was one year on and all seems to be going well. There was no rush and lots of time to discuss things.

I have attending HRBR for over 15 years. The level of expertise, professionalism and discretion at HRBR have no equal and the quality of after-care is exceptional. If you want the best, don't think of going anywhere else.

A few years ago I approached HRBR following a horrendous experience I had with another so called medical professional who performed a number of extremely poor hair transplants on me over a number of years. The visual results of these procedures were dreadful and I also incurred terrible scaring at the back of my head as a result of the ineptitude and immorality of the 'doctor' who carried out these procedures. Being in a very low emotional state as a result of this distressing experience, I approached Dr Collins and his team at HRBR to see if anything could be done. I have to say that Dr Collins and his team were incredible from the moment I booked an appointment. Dr Collins, while shocked at the terrible procedures inflicted on me, was extremely kind and caring in taking time to consider potential options to at least try and improve the appearance of my hairline and deal with some of the very serious scarring at the back of my head. What impressed me most was that Dr Collins understood the terrible trauma I was going through at that very difficult time and his priority was helping me through this tough period. He went beyond anything I could have expected. After a number of procedures I was thrilled with the results considering the damage that had been done to the donor area and scarring at the back of my head from the previous amateur procedures that had been carried out.

I can't recommend Dr Collins and HRBR highly enough, or thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism shown to me at a very difficult time. While it may sound like a cliche, their absolute priority is their patients well being and in doing a world class job for their patients. Unfortunately, I made a serious error in not doing sufficient research for my initial hair transplants. Dr Collins and his team are the best at what they do and I can't stress enough the importance of getting a world class surgeon, an expert in his field, to carry out what is an emotive procedure. From someone who initially had a very traumatic experience, if you are suffering from hair loss and/or considering a hair transplant, you will not regret making an appointment with Dr Collins at HRBR to consider all your options.
