The second was work health and safety, this was 12 months online but I finished in half the time as I was already in the swing of things with doing the first one. All information was supplied and the trainers were excellent. That is the good part.
Now for the bad.
My wife did the teachers assistant course and was unable to Finnish it for the following reasons. For the practice in school parts, the amount of work the training teacher was required to do was excessive to the point of none had the time to do this properly so this part was deemed as not complete. The next was the amount of work required on aboriginal studies, we approached several schools, a mix of public and private and none had anywhere near the prosseses or expertees to fulfill this area. As we have now found out no other training organisation requires this amount in their course, even to be a teacher this is not required.

The course covered so many interesting areas.

I hadn't contacted any of the trainers, so can't comment there.
I had given up on the course and found another institute who offered the PM cert and diploma. The OTHER company provides content including videos, transcripts, graphs/tables. Everything you need to complete your study. There are WAY better designed courses out there.
They send you emails saying someone will contact you because you haven't accessed any portals. No one ever calls.
I wouldn't recommend Inspire Education. Please look elsewhere.

All in all, I only needed to be there for one day in total and most of the time no one knew what they were doing. We just waited to get documents signed and then moved on. I was told, once again by the Trainer, that I was also there to help the other students completing their Subject 1, 2 and 3 courses. This is ridiculous. The Subject 4 students could come on the last day to review the others, or one day mid week and then on the last day. Most of the time, the trainer said, "Oh, this isn't for Subject 4 people." I spent close to $1000 to be there and sacrificed over $2000 in earnings that week. Not to mention the exhausting travel times. I wouldn't even mind spending $1000 for 2 days, but felt cheated and disrespected by a company I chose over many others to invest in. I have even reached out to you 3 times about this issue, but you have chosen to ignore my messages. I hope you review your Workshops and treat people more respect in future.

After I made my first contact for information, there followed a flurry of emails urging me to sign up: Final 4 days to save up to $2010 on the Cert III Ed Support Course. Only $990. Only 4 days left to take the offer. The tuition fees will increase 1st September. Sale on until 31 August only. One email informed me that there were only a few places left. (Later, I wondered why an online course needs to limit places.)
I quickly signed up and paid up because I didn’t want to miss out on the deal.
The information said that you can work at your own pace (BUT you are still required to complete the course within the twelve-month period, or pay extra for an extension). You are also required, before your placement, to pay for Working With Children certificate/Police clearance, vaccines, First Aid course, camera, and/or camcorder. I somehow overlooked all this pertinent information during the initial hurly-burly.
So much for the course being a fantastic offer that was closing imminently. The next month I noticed on the internet that there was another offer going. The old ‘get in quick’ urgency, again.
I felt I wouldn't finish the course in the allotted time and knew I wouldn't be able to afford the extras and time extensions so I discontinued the course after a short time. Then I started to receive pop-up adverts from Inspire Education regarding other courses!
I found the topics I covered to be interesting, and if I could have been able to study at my own pace, which would have taken me possibly two years, I may have completed the course.
If you’re thinking of doing this course, do your research thoroughly, first. Be alert to any sales pressure tactics that may cloud your common sense judgement.
Recently, on 10th May, 2019, I googled Inspire Education regarding the Certificate III in Education Support. BEHOLD! There was an offer on. HURRY! it said. Enquire now! it said. Sale ends 23 May! it said. The sale price was $990, it said...
