I have only had insurance with KBIS over the past 18 months and i can not fault them. The prices are competitive and the service is unbeatable, if there are ever any issues (albeit i've not had many) they are quick to answer questions and deal with any queries.

Quick and simple to get a quote and reasonably priced
Have used KBIS for 3+ years now and they have been brilliant - never quibbled a claim and paid the vet direct and quickly - exactly what you want from a horse insurance company!

Rubbish service customer service agent querying my address and we have lived here 16 years and been previously insured with KBIS.
Confirmed address was correct then got an email asking me to confirm if my address was 'The Ridings' with a screenshot of Royal Mail address of 'The Maltings' - shockingly inept.
Still do not know if we are insured or not???

I shopped around this year cause my normal insurance had gone through the roof. I cannot believe how much I have got covered with yourselves. I'm really happy with a saving of £30 a month. Great company I'm looking forward to being a good customer. Thank you

I was annoyed that I couldn't get the deal of 7.5% off, which you were advertising on facebook - via YHL.

I used to have my horse insured with KBIS 20 years ago, and have now got my daughter a pony so have used them again and the service is as good as it's ever been. Knowledgeable staff, comprehensive cover and a very competitive price.

Very happy that should the worst happen my horse is covered by a good insurance policy for the next 12 months.

Would help if I could sort my insurance out earlier than 14 days before, I like to be more organised than that. Otherwise a semi-reasonable price (still quite high compared to other providers but is 15 months cover) and relatively simple process online. One thing I would suggest, for all insurance providers, is to start a lifetime policy such as is available for dogs where if a condition starts it gets covered for life as long as you pay your premium, considering my horses are young and I will probably pay years without making a claim and then if I do I only get 15 months cover I find it rather unfair, I would rather be investing in a lifetime policy than feel I am wasting my money all these years.

I haven't owned a horse for 14 years, but previously had used KBIS and they were great then, especially when my trailer was stolen and then my horse had suspensory ligament surgery so it was an obvious choice to return to them. I rang to discuss my options for a horse I was having vetted and the help and unbiased guidance I received was exceptional, left me in no doubt that I would use them as my insurer.
