This company claim to be 'responsible company providing utility services to small and medium business customers in the UK.' But if responsible means mis-selling a business landline and broadband package to an elderly couple (my in-laws) then I really need to refresh my understanding of the word 'responsible'. This despicable company have over-charged my elderly in-laws hundreds of pounds for a business service they don't need. My in-laws are in their late 70s, early 80s and have no idea about any of this, so it should have been obvious that a business service was not what they needed. Absolutely appalled at this, and the fact they feel it's acceptable to charge £10 for a non-direct debit payment on top of the hundreds of pounds they have extorted from this elderly couple. I will be taking this to higher authorities, newspapers and social media to make sure this company never acts in this despicable way again.

I signed up because I was promised my bill would be £31 a month all in for b/band, line rental and calls. For three years I paid £58 to £60 a month! Could not get out of the contract and was threatened with fines and court if I tried! Contract has just excpired (thank God!!) but as a final sting they charge you £60 for the router unless it returned in working order with all leads and the box!!! Stay away or join and regret at leasure!!!

Rude , they phone you say a rep is in your area so you agree come in and show me the deal , which he did when we wouldn't give dd details he got pissy wouldn't have this service ever again .

I volunteer as treasurer for a charitable organisation and have had a beyond terrible experience with this company. Initially the secretary and chairman of the organisation were contacted by a salesman from this company. Both said that he was very pushy and they struggled to get off the phone from him. The chairman told this salesman that he could not make decisions such as changing suppliers without discussing with the committee and that we would get back to them. Next, we received a welcome pack through the post which included tariffs we would pay with Kinex. I, as compared these with our current supplier and found that Kinex were more expensive so phoned back the salesman to check if there was a deal which made it more competitive. During this phonecall I realised what the others meant about this salesman, he talked non-stop for much longer than was required and spoke utter nonsense at some points. He also told me that we would get a 10% discount off the tariff sheet supplied and I just had to send back the direct debit form for the supply to be transferred over to them. Even with this 10% discount our current supplier was cheaper so I sent an email politely turning down their offer. We then had a few phone calls from the salesman hassling us to the point we started ignoring him. I eventually took a call from him where he said that the process had been started and I had to contact our current supplier to stop the supply moving over. This proved to be correct, but it was too late and the changeover was already happening. That's right, our water supply was changed over by and to a new suppler without us giving any permission to do so. Luckily I got this cancelled and changed back so we were only stuck with this terrible company for a few weeks. Though even these few weeks have been horrendous with threatening 'Payment Outstanding' letters arriving no time after the invoices. We do all the work for this organisation on a voluntary basis at nights and weekends and I am extremely annoyed that a lot of my time has been taken up dealing with this disgraceful company.

I don't want to even give a 1 star! AWFUL Company. sales person came to my shop back in Nov 18 and i signed as they offered a good deal, (what i thought anyway!!) but my current suppliers came back with a better deal and so forth a few times, all this was cancelled and didn't go through with it as i was within the 14 days cancel policy. End of story i thought!!! February 19 they tried to again by going straight to my supplier saying that i was going with them, but my provider thank god called me to ask if i had authorized this which i hadn't. XLN put a bar on for 90 days then to stop them doing this again, but low and behold i have apparently signed/authorized a transfer and last week had a monthly invoice of £31.70 because i have gone live on 1st March!!!! I have done no such thing! On hold at the moment (24 mins so far to get through to them) Already spoke to someone last Thursday regarding it and still waiting for her to ring me back as they did not believe me and insisted i'm a customer of theirs and i will have to pay a cancellation fee to get out of it. She had to go back and listen to phone calls we are suppose to have had. Last time i spoke to someone in Kinex was November/Dec 18. I am fuming!!! Any advice would be appreciated as i have a feeling this ain't going to be easy!

Rude condescending sales team phone on a daily bases , after telling them I'm not interested they continued phoning daily .. Today was the icing on the cake .. A Muppet of a so called sales person phoned up called on 0121 236 3590 told him not interested take my details off your data base and put phone down , he then phoned back straight away was abusive and condescending .. Do not entertain these cowboys

On the 17 March 2020 Having had a very nice young man keep telling how proud he was of the five star rating Kinex were achieving. I signed the form. But that weekend I looked at the reviews and was shocked to see that the bad results were 27% against 55% good. On the Monday I phoned the contact number to cancel, only to be told , I’d been given the wrong number. The first number given was wrong it was for dealing with faults. But just could not get though anyway. The second number obtained was for their Head Office, 3 hours plus and give up trying to get though. Tuesday I managed to send a message though their complaint system. It’s Wednesday and still no results. Do look at the bad reviews , lack of communication, price increases, long delays in repairs , rudeness from personal and more. My advise steer clear off kinex.

Since opening my account Feb 2019 I have had nothing but bill issues - no matters raised ever resolved - constant calls asking for payment when no correct up to date bill has been rcvd - bills online have no breakdown no access to units used no way of checking - they are incapbale of producing a correct current bill after a meter read and expect customers to wait until the following month for a correct bill which of course by then is out of date an again behind - the call centres fail to answer any billing questions and say they have no access to the bill I would warn people to stay away from Kinex/Versater

AVOID AT ALL COSTS k1063088 Absolutely disgusted with Kinex after 1 year of issues I was finally advised I was due a refund. I gave them my bank details with explicit instructions that these were only to be used for refund purpose and in time got an email advising they would refund the money. Appparantly the cannot do cheque payments. Yesterday they Took the money OUT of my account. I now have to go through the process of complaint to Public Services ombudsman and Financial services ombudsman as they are now owe me twice as much money which has caused financial hardship and up until now taken a year to refund!!. I also have to contact my bank as they have illegally taken payment and what guarantee do I have that they won't continue to take payments???

We had their rep call this morning and he was woefully unprepared, he was over friendly which is a bad sign and the company from the outset showed all the signs that cause concern for me. I'm a great believer if the offer is too good to believe something is wrong and looking at the reviews on this site I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole! Thank you to all for confirming my fears.

This company is a disgrace, they train there sales person to miss sell and they lie about everything just for you sign the contract.......it is disgusting how they run their business to get the sales by miss-selling having to lie......it just goes to show they not as good as they think they are.......I seriously wish I hadn't gone with this company........well I have told all the business that I know about them.....made them aware of it all ........there was one who was going to go with them I then informed them what had happen to me how the lie and told them to read the reviews..... they soon changed their mind.....i was glad that I saved someone else from getting into a contract with them .......so PLEASE PLEASE be CAREFUL READ the Reviews dont believe them just stay away from this company they are appalling

had the KINEX visit sounded like a good deal signed paperwork with 30 days to change our mind got bombarded with calls to get started looked into it further and the dealcwas not that good explained this to them ended up with them putting phone down on me 2 weeks later had email from BT saying sorry to hear that you are leaving contact BT to find out that KINEX had still gone ahead with change over only good thing about this was i got a better beal from BT keeping a eye on bank account for KINEX to take money out which i am expecting

We are taking Kinex to court as in 3 months from logging the fault they still cant fix it £750 cancellation fee. Every time you say you are going to leave they say oh we have not completed our trouble shooting. 3 MONTHS is long enough when trying to run a business...........see you in court Kinex

I have the misfortune of having two accounts with this terrible company. So many manpower hours are lost on the phone to this shambles of a supplier. We have to do everything 3 times before it gets done. I am off when my contract expires.

Had an out of the blue phone call from them saying they could definitely save me money on my phone line and broadband and made an appointment to come on 30th November. Received a call about 1 hour before due to say he had broken down and made another appointment for 5th December. This was confirmed by telephone on 4th December. Didn't turn up and after 3/4 hour I phoned and was told he had broken down. Either that's the greatest excuse ever used or they need better vehicles. I told them not to bother as, if they couldn't keep appointments or communicate better how could I trust them with my busines

I have had a complaint open with the company since they misssold me an energy contact to years ago. Last month they cancelled the complaint and said the cancellation department would be in touch. Now they have lie and say they never said that re-opened the complaint and refuse to give a deadlock letter to take to ofegm.
