I received scar revision surgery by Mr Christopher Inglefield when the bandage was removed I noticed a dimple around the scar. I questioned this and I was told by Mr. Inglefield “it will go” However after many years it has not gone.
I tried to book an appointment and was repeatedly asked to pay £200 for a consultation despite my circumstance. I was eventually seen without charge after many emails and the threat to report to the General Medical Council. During the consultation Mr Inglefield said “I don’t know why it hasn’t gone” and then told me I should have an Xray to see if there is something going on with the bone!
I was asked to pay more money for tests and I was been told to go to the Nhs!
The next day, I was told by email from the clinic manager “Mr. Inglefield does not feel it’s related to your scar revision”
I was also denied my file which contained before and after pictures which would clearly show I didn’t have the dimple before the scar revision. From my research this occurs when the skin is too tightly stitched.
If considering going with this clinic I would advise keeping a copy of all pictures and payment records.
Also, I was offered my original treatment money back but even that was £200 less. I couldn’t accept it as the new problem would cost me more to fix!
I have reported this doctor and the clinic to various health organisations.

I have been a patient of Mr Inglefield's at LBPS for 15 years (original breast enhancement plus later revisions) and have only ever received exceptional care. Mr Inglefield is an expert in his field, and has always treated me with the utmost respect and dignity. I have never felt rushed by any of the team, and my aftercare has always been very thorough. I've had my surgery about a month ago and I can't say enough how pleased I am with the results! Mr. Inglefield's work is exceptional; but equally impressive was the entire experience from soup to nuts. The moment I walked into the clinic and had the pleasure of dealing with the admin team in reception as well as on the phone from Natalie, Chelsea, Lucy, Alex, Sarah and Maeve - all responding with care, concern, and immediacy to all my queries - as well as the exceptional and effective MLD appointments with Lynsey and finally the terrific and caring nursing staff of Natalie, Laura and Sinead - every time I had any dealings with LBPS the experience...was effortless!

I had hairline lowering surgery with Dr Inglefield in January 2019. The whole process - from the initial consultation to the post-op care - went perfectly. The doctor and his team are very acute to their patients needs and they make you feel completely at ease, from start to finish.

I am very pleased with the result - it's excellent (better than I even imagined)! I would highly recommend the doctor and his staff and I am extremely happy that I picked Dr Inglefield as my surgeon.

I am now 9 weeks post op after a bilateral brachioplasty and a full body lift which I needed having lost 6 stone in weight. I am absolutely delighted with the results. The scars are very neat and very well positioned to minimise their appearance. I am now planning the next revision (legs/breast) and would not consider going anywhere else.

As a healthcare professional myself, I have high expectations of how I want to be cared for and for the standards of clinical care. This meant I was anxious about finding a high quality clinic. From the initial consultation with Mr Inglefield and Phyllis and Natalie through to my latest follow up appointment the care has been excellent. There is not one aspect that I have felt unhappy with.

A key bonus that I had not expected was the use of Lymphatic Manual Drainage as a pre and post operation therapy. This was very subtle and I wondered before the operation how this would help but was absolutely convinced afterwards when I had this treatment on alternate days. Not only did this help my post op swelling but it also felt so therapeutic. On day 1-3 I felt very uncomfortable until I had my LMD treatment from Lindsay and felt like I had really turned a corner for the better and never looked back. Lindsay also checked my wounds and was very encouraging regarding the transformation that was becoming more visible each time.

The whole team at LBPS are very friendly and I would particularly recommend Mr Inglefield to you. In my experience Surgeons can be quite cold and functional with their patients. I believe he really cares about his patients.

Chris Inglefield and his amazing team are nothing but brilliant, caring and exemplary people. From the initial consultation, to the surgery and the extensive after care, Chris and his team looked after me so well and offered an unrivalled experience. Chris is the easiest and most understanding surgeon and always made me feel very comfortable and at ease. There is no pressure to do anything you’re not comfortable with and any side effects of the surgery and clearly explained and dealt with appropriately.
The results of the surgery are better than I could have ever asked for and it has totally changed my life and helped with my confidence enormously. Dr Inglefield is quite honestly a miracle worker and unbelievably talented.
The team, notably Lynsey, Laura and Phyllis are just fantastic and like Dr Inglefield, make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Their support throughout the whole experience was second to none.

I went to see Dr Bran for a procedure to reduce the size of my chin which had been a serious detriment to my quality of life for at least 10 years. Dr Bran talked me through the procedure clearly, what it would involve, and the type of outcome he would be able to reach through the reduction genioplasty operation. I am very glad I did go through with the procedure and the experience really could not have been more plain sailing. Dr Bran and the team at LBPS showed complete professionalism and care throughout what was understandably a fairly complex and nerve-wracking experience. Before I became a client of LBPS I read a lot of reviews and was a little sceptical, thinking that nobody could possibly get so much positive feedback from their customers. I have been having laser hair removal at the clinic for the past few months and Candice is amazing. For a procedure that can be sore at times, she makes you feel completely calm and I feel like my sessions pass in five minutes! She is so friendly as are any of the staff that I have interacted with. The addition of the cold air during the procedure is also great - I have other friends who don't get this elsewhere. I am starting to see results and couldn't recommend LBPS more

Having recently undergone surgery at LBPS I felt that I really must add a review.

Service levels today across virtually every sector are woefully low and I think many of us have come to accept it as the norm nowadays. Just getting to the right person is often difficult and the chances are that you will have had to fight your way through an array of recorded options before actually speaking to a human being. Time after time, I have had to chase people several times just to obtain a quotation and this is often followed by ongoing poor customer service and an outcome you often feel that you have had to battle to achieve.

Considering the above, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with Dr Inglefield and his team at LBPS. I had wanted to get a tracheal shave (Adam’s apple reduction) for some time and actually received a recommendation from another surgeon unconnected to LBPS.

From my initial phone call to the clinic, right through to post surgery, the service levels I have received, have been absolutely excellent.

When I first called, the phone was answered within a single ring and I was offered a choice of appointment times that suited me.
My initial consult was with Dr Inglefield and Phyllis, one of the nurses.
I was seen on time, had the procedure fully explained to me in an unhurried environment and picked up there and then that these people cared about what they did and how they did it.
I had received an email by the time I got home confirming the things that we had discussed and my quotation was received the next day.
In a particularly nice touch, I received a card 48 hours later from Phyllis thanking me for attending the consultation, supplying me with her email address and assuring me to make contact with her should I have any further queries over the coming weeks.
Given the above, I didn’t even think about speaking to anybody else and had booked up my surgery later that week.
My surgery went particularly well on the day and was followed up by my Manual Lymphatic Drainage appointments. These were carried out by Lynsey and I felt that these were particularly beneficial and were all part of the package that LBPS insist on.

It has only been 11 days since my surgery; however I can honestly say that I am already delighted with the results. Whatever way you look at it, surgery is a fairly big deal, but I knew from the outset that I was in safe hands and I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Dr Inglefield, and Phyllis and Lynsey were both stars!

It won’t be the last time I use LBPS.

Every part of my forehead reduction was just fantastic, from the initial consultation in which Mr Inglefield was honest, managed my expectations, highlighted possible risks etc, to the actual surgery and then the amazing result - I did have quite bad hairloss afterwards, which is just one of those things, but I would still get it done again tomorrow - it's an amazingly natural result and even my hairdresser can hardly see the scars 5 months on! Would recommend 100%.

My experience with London Bridge plastic surgery was truly amazing. This was my first time undergoing any sort of procedure so I was a bit scared for the entire process but I was guided through the experience with a lot of care and help at every corner. 8 months following on from my procedure I have healed fantastically and my chin is the stuff of wonders, I never thought that I could look at myself in the mirror and feel, for the first time, confident about how I look. My very long journey started many years ago in the mid 1990s, having GRS in 2007 that resulted in failure and much pain from another surgeon. However, I found Mr Inglefleld and London Bridge Plastic Surgery, who after putting my case through the highest channels was prepared to take my complex case on. This was no easy feat as my surgery was the most difficult revisional surgery that he had to correct.

Without any reservations, I recommend Mr Inglefield because he is compassionate, caring and most of all humble in listening to his patients, forever the student and note these are the very qualities absent in other surgeons in the field who believe they always know best for their patients.

Mr Inglefield is very rare in this respect and is thoroughly caring. I know this from my personal journey at London Bridge Plastic Surgery LBPS. Open communications are essential. Thank you LBPS and the team. Anyone who has difficulties in Gender Confirmation Surgery, because it is highly complex, and surgery can go wrong; Mr Inglefield is the surgeon i thoroughly recommend to having corrective procedures with.

I would also recommend that this subject, whilst taboo on corrective surgery is rare in discussional topics, is discussed more openly, so that people learn to realise that Gender Confirmation Surgery is not risk free, and other surgeons often do not know what to do to put matters right, but rest assured, Mr Inglefield performs the whole surgery right and very risky corrective surgeries too. Mr Inglefield is humble and anyone wanting Gender Confirmation Surgery is in the best hands there is. We need more surgeons of the same caliber as Mr Inglefield.

Disappointed - I had 3 procedures with mr inglefield and was left unsatisfied with each one. Nose Job - my nose was straight before but ended up bent after my procedure. Chin reduction left me with a round mascular face which I hate and fat transfer was uneven.
I’m left Much unhappier than I was before my procedures with mr inglefield at London Bridge plsatic surgery. Unfortunately I would not recommend.

I had a rhinoplasty operation a year ago In December 2019 I felt looked after from
start to finish. The consultation was clear and Dr Chris Inglefield was very caring, warm and I would not hesitate to recommend him always. All the nurses were lovely too and on hand to give advice

My mind is blown... 5 weeks after my Hairline Lowering Surgery the scar is almost undetectable, so neat that I sit in the mirror thinking how beyond talented Dr Inglefield must be to have achieved such result.
Although I had no reservations of his level of skill (something in the back of my mind just knew he was right!) I was still extremely nervous, having never been put to sleep before I was a hysterical mess questioning whether to go through with it.

Throughout Dr Inglefield, Laura and my anaesthetist were so patient and caring prior to my surgery. Laura constantly answering my questions and calls that I can imagine were tedious at times. She even called my mum immediately after surgery to let her know I was ok.
Truly, this has changed my life, way more than I ever anticipated, I actually hadn't realised myself how self conscious I was of my forehead prior to this that my whole image has changed as a result, I feel comfortable and natural and no longer need to cover myself with hair extensions and false eyelashes to try and draw attention away from my big forehead.

I really hope that if there is somebody out there considering hairline surgery, I can advise two things;
- Dr Inglefield is phenomenal, his talent is beyond anything you can imagine, you will be amazed so don't even let this concern you!
- If you are considering the surgery and you are self conscious then go for it because from my personal experience my entire life has changed. But more importantly the way I view myself and how I feel when I look in the mirror.

First and foremost if you are thinking about getting the hairline lowering surgery and have had serious research done on where and who to get this done by, You have come to the right place. I thought about doing the surgery for a very long time. And then I came across the London Bridge plastic surgery. After reading the reviews it was very clear that this was the place to get this done. I went to my consultation and decided that I will go through this. From the very first meeting I was made to feel safe and comfortable especiallySpeaking about something that was very personal and also my biggest insecurity. leading up to my surgery, The London Bridge plastic surgery team were very helpful and also reassuring about the scary procedure I was going to take. Saying that after the surgery what I thought to be very scary procedure turned out to be a simple procedure. The fact that every doctor surgeon and nurse I came across that day were reassuring and calm also really helped my anxiety. My procedure took around 1 1/2 hours. I thought I would wake up in a lot of pain, this was my worst fear. However, when I woke up I only felt very mild discomfort and by the time I left the hospital all of that had gone away. I went home and did not feel any pain past this point. After having asked all of the nurses about my worries it turned out what they had said was true. I initially took a few weeks off work for recovery however I didn’t need it. I was up and about in three days. I was able from the first day to be honest but I just wanted to rest my body. I only took two three strong painkillers( tremadol) past that point I only took paracetamol for the discomfort, I’ve had worse headache pains then the pain I got from this surgery. I was happy to see and feel great. Even with the stitches in I did not feel uncomfortable to go out In public. My stitches were taken out a week later which was also not painful. I also got massages to help with the swelling which was very good as it made me relaxed, in fact this was my favourite part of the surgery. I cannot explainHow helpful the team were, they were always there by the phone whenever I had any questions or need any help. I would send my nurse pictures every morning showing her the incision and she was great at responding And helping me with any questions.Laura who was my nurse Was amazing through the whole time. Dr Inglefield Also did a great job. I can not explain how much these two people Amongst their team have changed my life. I Never used to go out with my forehead on show. I would never take pictures without a fringe. My life changed from the very first day. I didn’t even care about the stitches or scars showing when I first started going out. I was that happy. And my scars were very minimal past 3 weeks. I can now do my hair in any style and my facial structure looks so much better. People that don’t know what I’ve had done keep telling me how much healthier I look. My biggest insecurity is now a thing of the past and If you are in the position I was I would tell you this was the best thing I have ever done. The team
