Though my bags were delayed by 10 days, my review is 5 stars. Luggage was held up by customs, and while I don't think I was notified in as timely a manner as I had wished or helped much in the first two days, once I got to Ricardo, I felt truly supported and appreciated as a customer. He went through the entire customs process for me, kept me informed several times a day of where we were in the process, and got the bags released. Plus, I received a refund. His kind and attentive service made up for everything and was the key to retaining me as a Luggage Free client. So, just know that if there are any glitches (and mine was a special case as I was planning to stay in Europe several months), Luggage Free won't let you down.

We paid for a signature required on three suitcases, each insured for $2500. Not only did their shipping labels state “NO signature required,” but they blamed it on Fedex driver for “not reading their label.” Better off just going directly to Fedex. No need for this middle man who did nothing but take the order and print wrong labels. Totally dissatisfied!

Our 21 year-old college student was studying abroad and then the COVID-19 hit Italy and he had to flee. Alyssa H. calmly and professionally managed procuring shipping labels to be printed in one location and the bags to be sent to the USA from another DHL location. Without Alyssa's persistent research and constant follow-up helped get this done. She didn't "break a sweat". Luggage Free is fortunate to have her work with them. When my suitcase was taken off a ship in Rio, after I had gotten home to Kauai, I honestly thought I'd never see it again......until I found an angel named Cassidy. I contacted Luggage Free and was told it may take some time since all the ports were closing. Even the port agent in Rio who had seen. my suitcase told me that he had no idea when any shipper would have access to it.
These are extremely hard times for all of us, but Cassidy waved her magic wand and made it happen. She even had to change carriers and, to my delight, it was delivered to my home before I expected it.
Cassidy is one of those few people who works with alacrity and is the best facilitator I've ever known. My husband and I are hoping that we'll be able to meet her some day and treat her to dinner. It is now our goal, and we will not only tell all of our fellow passengers about her excellent service but will always call her if we ever need help again.
It was such a pleasure to deal with a caring woman who made me feel as though it was her goal to reunite me with my suitcase!
