The course content was engaging and informative, as a social work student it reinforced our current learning focusing on current mental health status in society with Isolation/Covid19 etc and intervention

As a student for this industry I found all the speakers knowledgable and provided me with a wide range of information surrounding the topic of suicide. I loved learning from this webinar and would recommend it to any of my peers!

Enjoyed the second presentation and the the presentation of trans gender on Day 1 as it provided information and strategies.
The presenters were knowledgeable and the presentations easy and clear to understand.

Enjoyed the first two presentations on Day 1 particularly as it provided helpful information and strategies. The presenters were informed and knowledgeable. The programme was presented smoothly and professionally. Great facilitation and coordination.

As a current student In the field I joined up with no expectations, however I was really impressed with the discussion topics and the high caliber- and great variety- of the the key speakers. I took fantastic Information away from each of the webinars I attended, and I definitely plan to catch up on the few I missed. If this is being run again next year, I will be there again and I will be recommending to others- thank you for a great experience.

It was quite Interesting and Informative.I am 100% satisfied by the way it was conducted /organised.Loved the Suicide Prevention of transgender and diverse young people session was quite interesting also 7 C's . Timing and breaks given were quite ample because its an intense subject.

Working hourly shifts with clients with very high complex needs day in day out, the course has given me a much wider spectrum covering more insight to suicide for me, to help me give the right support. I now have contacts to support me to help others. thank you.

Apart from the first presentation which was marred by system glitches, the 2-day online summit was fantastic. There was plenty for everyone to get their teeth into. For me personally, the speakers that were of benefit were Ingrid Ozols, Penelope Strauss, Dr Zac Seidler and Dr Eoin Galavan. Thank you to all concerned for delivering an informative and educative summit.

I was hesitant at first to give up a week-end because I have found that many seminars repeat the same old research and information, but this was not the case with this seminar. The information was based on recent research and many of the presenters had new information that broadened my learning particularly: Counselling with Men in Mind: Understanding and Responding to Men’s Distress and Suicidality. Much of what was presented, challenged old beliefs. The new aspects highlighted in the different forms and ways of gathering information indicated to me that progress on understanding suicidality is happening, albeit slowing - but it's happening. There was a lot to take in, it was a 'heavy' week-end, due to the nature of the topic, I am so pleased that MHA gave this opportunity to learn.

This was my first suicide prevention summit and I was thrilled to be a part of it. I attended all 10 sessions and found them to be very informative and the presenters were wonderful. It has truly inspired me to go further into this field. Thankyou!

I attended 9/10 and found something of interest in each presentation. Presenters were excellent and Pedro was a wonderful host for the summit. Extremely well organised. Would attend if a similar event was organised.

I attended 9 of the 10 sessions and found them extremely useful and relevant to both my work and what is happening in society currently. I liked having the hour break between sessions and found I have a very productive weekend, working on projects in between the sessions as well as what I gleaned from the content. Will definitely be participating if it's held again next year. Very well run.

Attended the 2020 Suicide Prevention Summit over the weekend. Once again an excellent line-up of presenters. The schedule was well structured and professionally facilitated. It is great to be a part of an international event from the comfort of home. A very informative and rewarding summit. The 2020 Suicide Prevention Summit expanded upon the 2019 event. The course was very relevant to my clinical practice as a ClinPsych Registrar/Psychologist and ongoing professional development. Thank you to MHA staff on the smooth running of what was an excellent webinar event.

Last year’s had great international speakers and lots more impressive content compared to this years focus on ‘local’
I found a bit boring and quality of speakers differed noticeably.
Technical hitches were prominent!

The course content was excellent, but the teaching was similar to a train on its railway avoiding to touch the real reason behind suicide. The way they presented the issue was most likely women’s at work issue. It is just research for researching.
