I ordered a hard to find glass dome lamp shade replacement. One of the customer service reps helped me with all the measurements comparing the measurements of their item to what exactly I needed for a perfect match. She helped patiently with everything I needed to make sure I was going to be happy with my purchase. The glass dome was delivered very quickly and arrived in perfect condition. I could not be happier.

My hobby is buying old lamps and refurbishing them to "like new" condition by replacing ALL worn or broken parts, and sometimes redesigning them because parts can't be reused. I can buy virtually anything I need from My Lamp Parts for less than any other vendor. They have proven reliable and responsive on every occasion that I've dealt with them. GREAT COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't order from this site. Their specifications are far from specific. I ordered glass lamp shades that indicated a 1 3/4" fitting, which should have fit on my fixtures of 1 1/2 ". The dimensions were OD or outer dimensions not ID or inner dimensions. They charged me 27.95 to ship 6 glass shades. It took me 4 days to finally get an answer regarding returning them and the owner made a great show of saying my email was on his desk and he was just getting ready to call me. They charge a 20% restocking fee, so after a total of 123.46 for the shipping and the shades, I will still be out approximately $60.00 because he so generously said he would only charge me a 10% restocking fee. (insert sarcasm). I am very disgusted. Think I'll just sell these myself.

I ordered 7 inch glass lamp shades for a beautiful antique lamp that I wanted to give my son for his college graduation. In the midst of a pandemic when vendors were short-staffed, the owner of MyLampParts promptly shipped my product, responded to my email inquiries, and worked with me to get the best color match for the two shades I needed for this lamp. When one of the shades did not closely match the accompanying shade, he sent me a new shade that now matches perfectly as well as a return shipping slip to return the one that didn't match. The owner really worked hard to make me satisfied with the purchase. The lamps were reasonably priced after extensive price comparison research. Contrary to some of the reviews, the shipping prices were not exorbitant but totally reasonable for shipping fragile glass items. As for working with the customer, I made a follow-up call after sending a email about the match, and the owner took the call right away. The owner looked through his entire inventory of glass shades to find the perfect match. All I had to do was email him photos, and he found me the match. MyLampParts.com is a reputable vendor, and went to great lengths to make me satisfied with a great product.

I JUST LIKE TO SAY THIS COMPANY IS OUTSTANDING .I ORDERED THE WRONG HARPS AND I SAID THEY SAID ME THE WRONG ONES.WELL THEY DIDNT I FELT SO BAD SO I ORDERED THE ONES I SHOULD HAVE THEY HAD THEM HERE BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND IM SO HAPPY.THEY ARE SO NICE AND BEING A SENIOR IT WAS SO NICE I DIDNT GET A HASSLE.MY HARPS ARE BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE GREAT QUALITY AND I THANK THE COMPANY FOR A GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY ITS AMAZING. Great site. Wonderful dealing with the owner. He was able to keep shipping costs low and they were good to begin with. The site has parts that were needed to complete a project for a customer without me going to several of my local suppliers. Just ordered and they were at my door. Good time saver for me.

I was wary of a few negative reviews, but I know to disregard most of those. Great prices; good shipping costs (not like some complaints, and for my small order); and items arrived quickly. The cables are very flexible, and in excellent condition - exactly what I needed and wanted. I wish I had found MyLampParts before ordering from two other stores that were unsatisfactory. Totally satisfied.

I ordered all kinds of harps that I found to be of better quality than anything from the big box stores and I ordered many finals I loved everything that I got from these folks and found the service to be great. I wonder about the bad reviews did the big boys pay folks to slam them so you won't order from them? I will continue to do business with this site. Loved it

Order from them as a last resort. Exorbitant shipping rates plus surcharge for smaller orders and slow shipping at best. Questions are returned with an attitude like they are doing you a favor. I will pay twice as much or do without before doing business with them again.

just take my word on this site i'll shop some place else. after reading the bad reviews but was caught by the cheap pricing. i decided to give this business a chance and ordered a ceiling canopy cover .one small piece cost me more time and money and trouble than it was worth. after calling a week ahead of time talking to a girl on the phone giving my name address and check number .and sending them a legal letter with a to and from on it and a check with my name address on it and a small message sheet telling them thank you how much was inclosed and on that little sheet with a message was my name and town . they sent it to a different address with with my wife name on it and a different town 63 miles away .they took my money alright and they offered no help explaination or replacement and no call back or follow up i call them four times and on the second call the man i talk to got mouthy . with luck and deturmination i tracked this package down and found it after 2 weeks money is money 1 cent or 20 dollars i never heard from them agian LIKE I SAID WITH OUT EXPLAINING ,JUST TAKE MY WORD ON THIS ONE OR IT COULD BE YOU LOSING YOUR MONEY AND PART.------- truthfully s.r clark

Here is an update to my review below... I received a call from the owner of mylampparts.com to explain their shipping policy. Since USPS will not accept glass, the shipping charges quoted are 'worst case' UPS. If they can ship for less via US Mail, they will, and they will pass the savings on. A little like buying a 'pig in a poke', but better than nothing. Ultimately, their website needs a better shipping calculator. In the meantime, they get an A++ for customer responsiveness, and I will buy from them again! ==================== I want to add my voice to the corus of complaints about the ridiculous shipping charges at mylampparts.com. $19.40 is the MINIMUM charge for UPS Ground. PLUS they add $5.00 on orders under $50. This roughly doubles the cost of an average order. The selection is excellent, and the prices look reasonable, but check the bottom line before you order!!

I placed an online order for brass lamp parts on Tuesday 9/4/12 after speaking with "someone" at their phone number, 773-539-7910. I paid with Visa. I received an Email acknowledging my order and payment by ("credit card" no card type or last four specifics mentioned. Each item line was marked unshipped). Four days later, Friday, I had received no further Email regarding shipment date so I called the same number. No one answered. I thought they might be gone for the day. I called back this beautiful Monday morning at about 9:15 central time and let the Chicago phone ring until I got the message "NO LONGER IN SERVICE". I checked my bank account and at least there is no charge for this order, YET, to this date Monday 9/10/12. They do have my credit card info however so I am a bit concerned considering the rest of this transactional mess.

Had a small order of lamp sockets etc (About $25.00). The sockets were porcelain and wasn't sure if they could ship at less expensive USPS -'Can't ship glass' ($5.90) rate or more expensive UPS rate ($15.00+). I placed order night before and website gave me option to call and arrange payment and I submitted question about shipping on my order. When I called the next day, two people assisted me with order. Very pleasant and professional. They were able to ship the porcelain sockets through USPS. Said they would give it extra wrapping and it might be $7.90 shipping. I'm happy with them and will use again. They said it will go out today or tomorrow. Will try to update on shipping. If it ships timely, they have 5 stars from me! Changed it to 5 stars! Received my package in good condition on Saturday, 2/14/15! I've noticed they had some bad reviews, which made me a little reluctant to order from them. I had a great experience and would recommend them.

Bought what I thought were some new replacement parts for a floor lamp. What was received were used parts packed in newspaper in a used spaghetti box. The prices were great but were offset with exorbitant shipping and handling. Website is sketchy. Part listing doesn't mention fact that the part I bought was used. When I contacted them, they were rude.

Thought I'd share this with other past and future customers, had a hard time replacing glass globes for my lamps looked everywhere online, ebay, and local lighting stores. Then just as I was about to give up I saw on mylampparts.com similar globes to my broken ones. Well I called and a man (Allen) I think was his name,helped me with measurments and fittings very knowledgeable and it worked out great will order from them again, packaging was done solid and no mishaps. Restoring old brass lamps is a hobby of mine, and I felt like I found a gold mine in mylampparts.com! Not only was their website user-friendly, but their selection of parts (include glass shades!) was phenomenal. And perhaps the best part was that their prices were extremely low compared to the exact same products that I had been purchasing at high prices from local lamp stores for the past several years. My order arrived within a few days after I placed it, and I was extremely pleased with everything I purchased. I would highly recommend this website!!!!!

After regularly ordering from this company over a 2-3 year period, I'm finally done giving them just one more chance. Yes they have a nice selection & yes they have good pricing. BUT their exorbitant shipping charges are a joke and negate the good pricing they offer. They NEVER offered to ship any way but UPS (as someone else stated) and NEVER offered to adjust what were at best, a $20 handling fee! When something is out of stock, they automatically ship a sub-par substitute. Stress cracks in brass, threaded pieces completely off ... I could go on & on. When it's brought to their attention, you're treated as if you're a criminal. Zero customer service and never have they tried to fix their errors. So, if you pay good money for parts that are bad, you're out of luck with this company ... you'll never see it made right.
