I ordered 3ft. of rope lights.When they arrived I discovered that they do not fit my project.I called your company for return information and was told that they were not returnable because they were custom made.Problem?For starters,your web site DID NOT mention that the lights had to be custom made and,as such, were not returnable!I found this out when I called your company for return instructions.I should have been advised by your company of this information BEFORE your company went ahead and custom made the light string,OR the information should have been,OR should be on your web site.I still believe that I should be able to return the lights for a refund,minus your restocking fee based on the these facts.As it stands,it is an unfair business practice.I should have had the return information BEFORE I made the decision to buy.Further,I never authorized the light string to be custom made.No one called,or wrote me advising of this.Someone else in your company made that decision for me and it is WRONG from start to finish!---David L.Biskner,A.A.S.

my experience was without drama, place my order(monday night), receive it 3 day (Thursday). My LED rope were working and the right size. nothing to say. Just good experience, price, delivery. Thank you to the staff.

I am sorry to say that My shopping experience was not the best
I purchesed a length of led rope light
It came tightly wrapped in a narrow box
As soon as We un ravled and plugged in 1/2 of the light did not work
I called bird dog
They said they would send a splice kit
This was a new installation and outdoors. So I did not want to splice a brand new product.
I had to send back
and Pay freight to do so ( That is not a good repersentation of Your standing behind Your product)
This was 2 weeks ago
I am still waiting for the replacement product

I have purchased several items from Birddog in the past. I have not had any problems wit there equipment or there service! Good products.

I like my product and the delivery was smooth from Montana. The color however was described as
lime green and really the color is more to the yellow side of the spectrum.

I have ordered from Birddog 3 times now. I have been pleased each time. On my previous order I had a section of lights that didn't work. I called the office and within days had a replacement piece in my mailbox.

Once I am done with my Halloween decorating, I will be looking to place an order for Christmas. I am slowly replacing all the old rope lights on my house with LED's so it will take time....

The first rope light spool I bought cost $150 and had to be thrown away as they did not light up properly. That spool was bought on clearance which they said means "as is" -- and apparently "as is" means "may not light up". The next spool I bought cost significantly more and was supposed to be lavender but after it was installed it was magenta. My staff thinks it makes our veterinary clinic look like a house of ill repute. But at least it lights up. Sigh....

Prior to ordering I had numerous questions about the products which were expertly responded to and the goods arrived two days later. Remarkable service!
I'll be a long time customer.

I had the misfortune of buying ahead of my need and didn't use the LED ROPE lights until 2016. They boast these will last for several years. They did not. They worked for while (less than two years) and then the transformer burned a hole in my deck. I wrote to Bird Dog who said that my lights were out of warranty. The truth is they were defective from the start as the new transformer I also purchased from them was re-designed. I was made to feel unimportant and the truth is you can save hundreds on Amazon. Good Bird Dog. Action Lighting or Amazon will be where I go from now on. Check for UL approval and report problems you have to them as well.
