Recently made 2 purchases, first one a large mirror 5 out of 5. Great product and delivery. Second purchase a two seat sofa, love the product but, feet and locking mechanism damaged on delivery. We'lloyds see how good they are to repair.

Placed an order of furniture in jan 2020, delivery was meant to be 27/5 due to covid. Got a call on 27/5 to say the sideboard would be another 6 weeks. They’ve had £ 3,500 of our money for 5 months and now have to wAit 14days for my refund. I’ve lost interest on my savings but they’ve gained. Disgusting service

Never again will I use this company 6 month pregnant and I have no we’re to sit told me my sofa would have been sent out a week after I ordered it as it was in stock to now tell me the 18th August a week before I am due my baby I have sold my sofa the day before my expected delivery ready to put my new one in !!!!!! Spoke to every manager on the phone and not one of them will give me a straight answer just keep saying we’re investigating it to then tell me my love seat can be sent out this week so I have something to sit on to then find out it’s going to cost me the price of the love seat as the rest was on finance !! Absolutely disgusting I’ve been in tears and they just don’t have a clue what they are doing I appreciate what is going on at the moment and things are not going as smooth as they would normally but don’t lie to people I would not have ordered the sofa if I knew it was August you sold me under false agreement ! Can’t even send me a sofa from a showroom to sit on they are doing nothing to help at all ! Worst experience with them ever.

Cant fault the quality of the products that we bought, still think that even though we spent £1500 on 3 transactions in 6 weeks we should still get a free gift but other than that excellent products

We ordered a large bookcase and asked that it be delivered in the morning of the day of delivery. Your Customer Service lady was so helpful and it duly arrived first thing in the morning. The delivery driver and his helper were very helpful, professional and friendly too. In all we are delighted with the bookcase which is exactly what we wanted. We will certainly recommend Oak Furniture Land to our friends.

I have placed my first order few months ago. Hove Natural Oak and Painted 3+4 Chest of Drawers arrived damaged and after few weeks on phone I have got the replacement,which arrived damaged again. Took few more weeks to return it back. In order to deal with those deliveries and returns I was forced to take days off and never been compensated for that. Few weeks ago I placed another order and .... It arrived damaged again. I was very furious to get such a poor products again in a row. Customer service super unprofessional,so be prepared. Pictures on website look great,but real products are far from what you see. Would strongly recommend to consider your next order.

Dreadful Service from Day 1 DPA BREACH ON DAY 1 - one of their agents sent a fellow customer through to my phone who was querying her previous purchase - should have known from this moment they were dreadful. DELAYED PURCHASE - I couldn't buy my furniture until I knew my details were not posted on the OFL website which meant my delivery date was pushed back a day 7 WEEK WAIT - Why? There is absolutely no reason in this day and age to be forced to wait 7 weeks for sofas. RADIO SILENCE - their escalation manager couldn't do enough for me up to the point I paid £1500 - now, i can't get through to her. NO INTEREST in following up on promise to 'speed up delivery' NO EXPLANATION - Text to say my delivery is not coming, but no reason why, no re-arrangement, no call from customer service, nothing.

Spent over 3,000 with this company and we paid an extra 10% on top for insurance to cover our goods. However, 2 years or so later, we tried to make a claim due to moving into our parents who have 2 dogs, had soiled on our mattress which cost £800! When I had made the claim, I was told I would receive an email that I had to fill in due to a different name(married) and changed address to which I done. I was also told that I would need to fill out the claims form and I would hear back about arranging a engineer to come out. I did not hear or receive anything. I rang back several times to which I kept getting told I will receive this email blah blah blah! In the end, the costumer representative said to me that because he can see I have rang numerous times regarding our soiled mattress, he will arrange to send an engineer to assess the situation which happened. The engineer seemed ok but said we should have a chance of getting a replacement due to the complications and the state of the mattress to then received a letter to explain that it is not covered even though when buying the furniture in store, they said that accidental damage is in fact covered! We rang them to find out exactly why it wasn’t covered and they said that because of where it was (in the garage) we could not claim. We had expressed that it was stored in the garage due to wanting for soo long for a reply and the space in our house, thats why it was stored in the garage. They were rude and unprofessional on the phone towards my husband and agreed that the phone call would not be resolved. We then went to the store in Taunton and spoke to the very gentleman that sold us our furniture and he said that we should have been covered. He suggested we ring the ombudsmen direct and go from there. We did this. A week or so later, received a letter to say we are in fact not eligible!! The morale of the story is DO NOT PAY EXTRA FOR CLAIMS!! It really isn’t worth it. It is still currently sat in our garage after a year and still paying the furniture off!!!

Leather two and three seater purchased and delivered within two weeks "amazed" at superfast delivery. Well wrapped with concise assembly instructions (definitely two man job)Very pleased with price and build quality The courteous delivery staff pointed out not to drag box due to staples on outside(wooden floor would have marked well) Assembled to reveal exactly as described perfect quality leather sofas(comfortable) only query would be the cream they supply to treat settees Having read the instructions and cream is not recommended with skin contact????? strange as you sit on them and rest bare arms and legs where you put the cream????????

Right from the start the assistant manager was very helpful but not pushy. He left me to wander around and was on hand when I finally decided on the suite I liked. Everything was explained well, with regards to the furniture and the after care. Would certainly recommend the store for the quality of the goods and the sales help.

Ryan at your Truro branch was friendly, knowledgeable and demonstrated all the products available of the type we were seeking and concluded the sales transaction swiftly with delivery from stock within a week. The sofa appears to be very well made and extremely comfortable. We would have no hesitation in recommending Oakfrunitureland based on our experience.

Very Happy customer We recently purchased a 3 seater and 2 seater electric reclining sofas. The staff in store were happy to help and give some good advice but were not in your face so we felt free to browse around the store without being pounced on. As we spent over £1500 we could choose a free accessory, there were oak framed mirrors, big clocks or framed pictures to choose from - all very attractive - and the mirror we chose is good quality with no distortions of the glass. Delivery was within 2 weeks and we could specify the delivery date in store but change it easily on line. We had a text the day before delivery giving us a 3 hour time slot which was great for arranging to be in. Really pleased with our purchase and the whole experience, from stepping into the store, to delivery, was excellent.

I don't often leave reviews but felt I had to on this occasion just to highlight the extremely poor work quality of the furniture we ordered which has so far been replaced 3 times (still unresolved) and the poor customer service received. To keep this brief we ordered over £2000 worth of units 7 pieces in total St Ives range, several needed replacing on arrival due to very poor quality these are heavy large units - the door knobs had been moved position re drilled and then filled poorly sunk holes, large damage / splits in the cabinets, paint drops over the shelves, bowed doors, bowed shelves, missing paint patches to name a few. Photo’s were sent to customer service and replaced units were arranged with a 3 week wait time (the other units had to be repaired via their homeserve company) . These replacement units arrived damaged again major splits on the wood panels and same poor finishes. 3rd replacement was promised to be quality checked prior to delivery, I would have thought after the issues we received the units would have been quality checked prior to replacement, unfortunately the quality checked units were also faulty. We are expecting the 4th delivery Friday which is a white gloved service, we are just very disappointed and did not expect such a poor experience with Oak Furnitureland, the inconvenience of waiting in each time for deliveries, the amount of packaging which you are expected to remove and dispose of yourself, 3 trips to the skip so far and units not worth filling up and using as you know it will all need emptying to be replaced again, and all the time on the phone,email sending photo’s etc. I have attached a few photo's just to see the quality/workmanship from Oak Furniture products.
