Was not happy with product- it did not suit my home and was noticeably smaller than shown in the website picture.
I asked if I could return for a credit. The owner was not interested in the slightest and told me to complain to the tribunal.
He got my money and that’s all he cares about. Avoid this business as you don’t have much comeback.

Online Furniture Ordering system - nice and easy. this company kept up to date on the back order for the furniture we ordered (5 pieces) about 3 weeks ago. I am informed by the phone, my order arrives last week, I am surprised my order has arrived in Wellington so quick during this very special time, Alert level 3 in Auckland. No problems at all so they took it to the room we want upstairs. Very good service, we love our new furniture. Thanks The furniture itself is very good quality. Will happily buy from these guys again.

We have bought many pieces of furniture from Oak Furniture Store on Great South Road, Auckland. Always Excellent products and Customer service from the Team. We would not go past here for our furniture. Showroom is brilliant and lots to see.

Found this company n Google and visited the Penrose shop and found exactly what we wanted, we ordered the small Oak table, four chairs, small TV unit all from the Zara range, and a Queen size bed. Our new apartment was not been settled until 4 weeks later, they were happy to keep our order on hold in their warehouse for free of charge. I phoned the shop when we were ready and they delivered it the next day. Now the furniture is set up in the house I am very pleased with it. We would recommend this furniture place to our friends!

This visit was a 3 hours journey from Tauranga, but it was essential in my opinion when you spent thousands! After arrival, this is one of the best furniture companies I have dealt with. By the time my partner and I had left, we were absolutely sure that this was the place we would buy from. We placed our order online when we got home. Anyway, I verify this business and its operation, knowledgable and friendly staff, range of product and cleanliness of the premises... a beautiful place to visit !! 10 / 10

A special thank you to Oak Furniture Store & Sofas for the wonderful services they provided for national freight service. We were a little worried about the long-distance delivery from Auckland down to Christchurch, but the way this company work and the quality of their furniture products are beyond our satisfaction. I have also attached some photos for their furniture package, this is the top standard of packaging in the furniture industry. The delivery guys were also very friendly and helpful. In fact, everyone we spoke with was so helpful. Well done guys your help was very much appreciated. We will let all my family and friends know!

Been in Penrose shop twice, first time sales person made himself known answered a few questions and left us to browse(no pressure) second time a very friendly lady dealt with us, again no pressure, very knowledgeable and helpful. We made decision for an order to be delivered! Delivery service is also excellent, two young men were very friendly and helpful!

I would never buy furniture online so I visited various furniture stores and found Oak Furniture Store’s staff very professional and polite whilst being relaxed and informative with no pressure. Their furniture is in very high quality and solid as well as being reasonably priced.

Absolutely loved my visit to Oak Furniture Store and Sofas. The staff are very helpful and have lots of information on the solid hardwood furniture product that I am interested in. And I found the product price very affordable for this level of quality. Bought a Queen Size bed frame and two bedside tables. Shall definitely be returning to the store for more in the near future.

I am very impressed with the solid oak furniture I purchased from Oak Furniture Store & Sofas! The sales person I talked with was very pleasant and helpful. The actual piece of furniture has the exceptional craftmanship I was hoping to find. This is a piece of furniture that will be passed down for generations!!! Could not be happier with my purchase! Highly recommend this company to others!

My husband and I visited the Oak Furniture Store & Sofas last week in Penrose. Initially to browse dining room tables. As we entered the shop as we were put at ease by staff wearing masks and offering antibacterial hand sanitizers and scanned COVID-19 tracer. When we needed assistance we were greeted by Ray, he shared her knowledge of the stock, demonstrated working of extendable tables, and gave us extremely helpful information in relation to payment and delivery. The extremely easy shopping experience, and made my husband and I feel comfortable. We have now purchased the dining table, chairs and three other items, and will return in a few weeks to purchase bedroom furniture. An absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you.

Cannot go wrong with Oak furniture Store & Sofas, from start to finish, the store sales was very helpful, and delivery made in 4 weeks, I had been quoted 12-16 weeks in other retailers. The delivery men, brought all my furniture up of stairs and into my living room, no problem, many would only deliver to the front door, not any good to me at all. I love my all cabinets and sofa, it's well solid made and so comfy, only trouble is I keep falling asleep on it, thank you Oak Furniture Store & Sofas!

Good experience at Oak Furniture Store, very knowledgeable sales team with detailed explanation on how the furniture is made and different types of wood, NZ Pine, Rimu, Kauri, and Oak, we made our decision to proceed an order here! Delivery made the second week after purchase, the delivery service was polite and the furniture are high quality!

Very helpful sales let us take our time and left us to browse and explained any questions we asked we chose a table and chairs and a sideboard now look forward to December when they arrive just a pity it is a long wait for this special year 2020!

Bought a few pieces of oak furniture over last 2 years and extremely happy with the quality of each item. All bought online but did also visit store to check out first. They are a very good company to deal with, ensuring you are happy with the order placed by following up with a phone call. Cannot fault the company which also includes the delivery men who are pleasant and professional.
