WORSE. BAD. Never trust them
I sent money using this company as there was some urgent need back home. as per their website, the funds should transfer in 10 minutes. my family were waiting in the bank for moeny but bank told them it never arrived.
i contacted the helpdesk and they said there is no issue from their side. More then 4 hours since i transfer the money but it never reach there.

Looks like all the good reviews are written by their own employees or paid reviews, I don't see that in reality.

I'm so frustrated with the way they are handling my case, it's been 4 months still I'm chasing them for my money, everytime I call the customer care I have to give them the whole story of what has happened. But even after explaining there won't be any solution to it.

And at the end of the call " WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU ONCE WE HAVE AN UPDATE"

I have no clue how are they doing business with this ethics. It's so annoying, now I can't even reach them out because of this crisis.

Let me see if they have a curtosy to reply back to this message.

Send money to Brazil for child support on April 02 and nothing yet
Tried so many ways to contact them
Finally they asked me for bank statement which is wrong, give them what they ask me and still no money at all

I sent money to someone ,but it kept on saying that it didnt go through, when i checked my bank account they took it out twice which i didnt mind as long as they would receive both of my remmitance since 2 went through,but the remittance received was just 1( they Said I only sent 1 remmitance) They handled the situation very poorly stating they cant do anything about if since it went through and we cant get any refund! Straight up! “We’re unable to help you”. What a scam?!!! Theyre ruthless! Paid for 2 remmittance idk if it was their system glitch or what ,come to find out my recipient received just one? Very Frustrating!

Never using again !! I wanted to make an urgent transaction but once money deducted from my Bank account it show payment on hold due to Identity verification why the hell You take Money out before doing identity verification .now its been two days i didn't receive my money back and there is no option to contact and been waiting from last two days to contact by Chat .I really wanted to send money om emergency basis but now don't have extra money to send and didn't get my Money back such a shame.
It is harassment that there is no way of contacting you guys and have to safar now.
My Money has been taken out from My account then put on hold you guys ask for ID first then tqke someone one mone.took Money first and hold my transaction scammers.

Its all crap cuz i have been waiting from 6 days now to get money back .no contact in any way from last 6 days chat says less then 3 minutes. But no response.gonna block you guys from My bank and get my money back

During this period covid-19 must everything is shut down but remitly is best is at home u can do easy transfer in seconds outstanding

Worst experience I’ve ever had sending money with the process abroad tried sending money and everything went through and my receiver would receive in one hour and everything would go trough checked it again an hour later and it locked me out of my account due to security issues went to the help line and there is no help call or chat to, and I think your company is scamming me haven’t been told why my account is locked and can’t log on to chat to anyone,
Nobody use this company very very disappointed the person needed money urgently

Really love the service my first transaction done in less than two hours,very fast.and recommended to anyone who wants to send money anywhere in the world.

I used Remitly first time . I made two urgent transactions. They charged me for the urgent transaction and its been 3 days and money was delivered to the beneficiary. Its 3rd time lady had to go to the bank.
When asked the customer service to find out what happened to my money that asked to provide beneficiary's bank statement.(people if you need to use this service to help some one) , make sure you have their bank statement as without that Remitly dont even file a complaint.This is the most ridiculous think I have ever heard and I have been using remittance services for over 15 years now.. How can I ask some one for their bank statement , that is a personal document. Agent on the chat even asked me what my relation was with the recipient ???
DONT USE REMITLY services people.
P.S UPDATE Its been almost 8 days no sign of the money ... Bank is telling the beneficiary to contact Remitly ... Remilty saying they have done there job and sent the money to the bank... Its online chatting only and no phone line there were 29 people in front of me in the queue to chat in the evening ...Horrible Horrible company

First time using this service was great but after few times they started canceling my transaction without notice

Very bad customer services. They have taken money from my account, then cancelled the transaction. I cannot contact them due to Covid 19, despite all other companies who are working from home. Very unprofessional!

No costumer service available. Canncelled transfer is not returned. No possibility to contact the company.

So seamless and easy. What a treat to be able to transfer funds so quickly. My “Mexican family” was in dire traits and this was the perfect solution. Great service at a great price. Thank you.

Very disappointed and frustrating experience. I cancelled two transfers 31 days ago and my refunds are still in limbo.
Wrote two complaint emails, instructed me to contact my bank to verify and/or provide my bank statement as proof; which just added a bad taste in my mouth -1) I refuse to provide my bank statement for privacy reason & they don’t need a bank statement to initiate the trace, they have the transaction history and all references to use 2) as if my words are not good enough( why would i complain if I already received the funds? My bank also confirmed they don’t have the money).
I just hope they don’t file bankruptcy so I will get my money back.
So sad indeed!!!

First time I send money with company. Send twice 100 pound each time . None of the money received . As apps say money has been transfer. . Which.is lie . Money has not received yet. Been 4 weeks.no chat no phone call.i have no idea how to get . My money back . It's not right to play with people feelings and money at this sad time. Every poor service with no communication.

I do acknowledge the ease and reliability of their services. However, there response to problems is abysmal. My sister in Ghana is still waiting for a week now to receive the money I sent her although my account has been debited. Phone, chat and email contacts are all unavailable. Co-vid 19 or not, a staff should be there for customers in cases of emergencies.
