South Cypress

I finally received my full order of 20 boxes of the same tile. However, the first shipment arrived with only 18 boxes. South Cypress was very responsive and got the other 2 boxes to me within 8 days. However, the person who was going to install the tile wasn't available at the later date and wouldn't install without the full order. So now, I'm back to square one trying to find a tile installer. Not completely South Cypress' fault, but my problem could have been avoided had the warehouse paid closer attention to the order.

Tile was in good shape and was a good price. my only complaint is the delay in receiving the full order.

I had found the same tile locally that I ordered from South Cypress and even paying $189 in shipping, I still saved around $350-400. The quality was excellent and arrived when we needed it. After the initial order was requested, we learned we needed additional bull nose for the contractor. That small order was expedited and the work on our bathroom remodeling continued without delay. We are very pleased with our service and the overall experience and will recommend South Cypress to our friends.

Love the product, however we realized we were short and getting two more boxes was same shipping as the entire first shipment which was 7 boxes and 25 square feet of deco. The shipping for two boxes was 50.00 more than product.

If the rest of our home remodeling went as well as everything went with South Cypress, everything would be on-time, below budget, no last minute suprises, everything 1st quality. In short they consistantly exceeded my expectations and I really appreciated it. Thanks!!

Placed order on 4/16/16 It is now 4 28/16 still do not have order

We were looking for a porcelain tile with a 5 PEI rating for our barn (1800 sq.ft.). Time was of the essence because our nephew was using the barn for his wedding in 2.5 months. Locally, we found a tile that we fell in love with, but it was more money than we wanted to spend. We went on-line, found the tile and requested a price from 3 different suppliers. South Cypress was the only one who reponded; the very next day. Stewart S. called to learn more about the project & what we would need. The next day we received a preliminary invoice with a personalized video, made for us, from Stewart. He made note of details from our phone conversation; very impressive. He sent us grout color samples when we were unsure of what color to use due to the color variations of the tile. Enclosed in the package were 3 lollipops! We placed the order and it was delivered in less than a week. The day of the delivery, we had a "thank you" card in the mail from Stewart.
Customer service is very important to us and we feel it is lacking in today's world. It was truly a pleasure doing business with Stewart and South Cypress. We have passes along our experience to all of our friends.

On June 15th I ordered wall tile, floor tile, mosaic, and mortar through the southcypress.com site. A sales rep came back almost immediately notifying me that he'd need more money to ship all of the items. Ok, I asked him how he was going to split the order... again and again - 3 times actually before I got the answer. After some deliberation, I decided to cancel wall tile and mosaic and add bullnose tile to match the floor tile.
A different rep wrote back notifying me that bullnose tile would not match the field tile. Wrong. The only way for bullnose to not match was for them to send me WRONG field tile. I explained that to them and used some references from the manufacturer's site.
They shipped bullnose tile almost immediately. I actually got FedEx notification about scheduled delivery before they sent me any tracking information. It arrived well packaged. No issues here.
Here's my problem with them. It's been almost 2 weeks since then, and I still don't have the field tile, nor mortar. No order updates, no communications about the delay. Nothing! I sent multiple emails inquiring about the order. No response. So I called their support number. A representative on the phone promised me that the order would be shipping on Monday (6/27) and I should get shipping notification on the 28th. Ok, today is the 28th and still no notifications about the shipment, nor about any further delays. It seems my emails are going out into the abyss, as no one is bothering to even acknowledge the existence of my order.
There's no way for me to track the order on their website. I had some concerns initially when some parts of the site didn't work as expected and shipping charge seemed a bit too high, but I went ahead anyways because of the positive reviews. Now I question the authenticity of the reviews. I can understand one misstep or an error, but it has been nothing but problems with them. I'm starting my tiling project in a few days, and I thought that having 2 weeks of a lead time should've been sufficient. Apparently not if you are dealing with southcypres.com.

Purchased a large quantity of American Estates 9 x 36 wood look tile. We received a great price!!!Customer service was very good!! They were nice to hold my shipment for a few weeks and notified me when it was shipped and when to anticipate delivery. I would definitely recommend them!

I received a notice right away, stating the tile I ordered was being placed on backorder for 6-8 weeks. I had the option to communicate what I wanted to do, which was great. I loved the tile so much that called and let them know I would wait. Luckily, within a week I got another email from South Cypress, stating "good news!" and I thankfully received my order early. It was delivered promptly, and I couldn't be more happy with the actual product, and now it is installed in my kitchen and I've gotten rave reviews from my friends. Even the installer couldn't believe how pretty the tile is.

I ordered Daltile through these Cypress Folks and it got all the way to my fed ex depot and lo and behold the forklift 'operator' busted a case. Wow my project was on hold. I phoned Cypress to make a claim and they shipped me a case out immediately! I just placed an order again, same project. I just hope it's as speedy!

Two separate experiences with South Cypress have been satisfyingly similar - the individuals helping me purchase porcelain tiles were extremely helpful, provided honest evaluations (eg., color comparisons, quality), were willing to send 12"x12" samples (compared to 2"x2" samples sent by others) to realistically analyze color/quality, and were willing to take back imperfect tiles. Overall, from the selection to personal service - I would highly recommend South Cypress. - Dr. S.M.

I needed a hard to find, in stock, finishing metal and corners (even more rare) for a high end tile project, where my client changed her mind to this metal at an inopertune time. I was suspicious that this company's website showed they had 29 of the corners in stock (needed 23). This is usually special ordered, and usually takes 7-10 days to arrive (from Germany). I called the sales rep and he assured me that they indeed had them and could have them to the clients residence in 2 days. Not to mention the sales rep gave me a contractors price of 10% less, SHIPPING INCLUDED, than if I had special ordered from my wholesaler here! BAM! 2 days later they arrived almost too well packaged. Took a long time to unwrap the protection wrap :-).

When ordering I could not have asked for a more helpful sales person.I also received the tile two days earlier than expected.

I was really hesitant to try out this company, as we were spending several thousand dollars, but we couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff at South Cypress was quick to respond to emails and very friendly on the phone, and our tile was perfect. Plus, we saved over $1 per square foot! I would absolutely buy from them again and have already begun sharing their good name with friends.

Our beloved 200 square feet of 13" porcelin tile was delivered up to Massachusetts in about 4 business days via FedEx. It arrived at a terminal near us strapped onto a hardwood skid and was loaded into my pickup truck. Truly spectacular experience!

When I learned that the tile I needed immediately would not be available for 4-6 weeks, they helped me choose something similar that worked out great--maybe even better than what I wanted would have. The order came quickly and I couldn't be happier.

Tiles were delayed 2 days but that was a FedEx problem.

After nearly an hour of searching the web, looking for a very specific style of tile, I stumbled onto southcypress.com. As a webmaster myself, I was immediately impressed by the clean layout, large photos, and ease of finding things. I quickly found exactly what I wanted and then decided to continue with a little comparison shopping. It was quickly obvious that South Cypress already had the lowest prices around. Plus, the customer service department was very helpful in scheduling the delivery. VERY impressed!

Very helpful from beginning and not pushy to one tile or another - listen to what I wanted and salesperson sent several samples, ended up choosing one of his recommendations.
Being installed as I write this and I am just thrilled, even installer is impressed with the tile.

I placed an order for basic Daltile - White - and a month later it still is not to my contractor. If I had known it would take this long for them to fill an order of the most basic tile, I would have ordered elsewhere. This has held up my project and now the shipping has been delayed by UPS. They were all very nice and cordial on the phone, but the product delivery took WAY too long and has been very frustrating.
