Keep up the good work that has been done for myself.
Thank you. I can’t reccommend you highly enough!
I now have my car back and looking like new thank you
My car was driven into when it was parked. I was unaware that this had happened until I saw the damage; therefore I was not at fault. I contacted Suzuki accident and gave them all of my information. After less than an hour, I was contacted by someone from Suzuki Accident and had to tell them the exact same details. I was advised that recovery had been booked in and I was asked about what kind of courtesy car I would need. I was advised that my Suzuki could not be taken to a Suzuki garage though, and instead would be taken to another main dealer in the area. This felt confusing and non-sensical.
My insurer would not take the car to the dealer that Suzuki had suggested, so I called Suzuki Accident again to query this and ask what time recovery would arrive, since I had waited some time. I was advised that all workers had now gone home and that I was through to the call centre, but that they would chase up recovery.
In the meantime, I contacted my local Suzuki garage who did not understand why my car could not be towed to the Suzuki garage that I had purchased it from. I was unsure as to whether my car was driveable, and as I was unhappy with the conflicting decisions of which garage to take my car to, I eventually found out that my car was actually driveable, and I took my car to my local garage. I then had to contact Suzuki Accident to advise that my car was infact at a Suzuki garage and that I no longer required recovery (even though no one had contacted me about recovery after 2 hours).
I received an email the following day about details of my claims handler.
Almost a week after having no car, I still had no courtesy car, and had been given no update from Suzuki Accident. I contacted my Suzuki garage to advise that they had submitted a claim to my insurer. My insurer advised that they had not received the claim in the correct format, so I then had to contact Suzuki to ask them to send the claim again. After quite a few days, I contacted my insurer who advised that their engineers had agreed the claim. It was then my responsibility to contact Suzuki to ask them for a courtesy car and advise them that the work had been agreed. After 10 days I received a courtesy car.
I have still not received an email from my claims handler. I use this term incredibly loosely since at no time have a felt that anyone handled my claim other than myself. I received no updates even to advise that the claim had been sent or agreed, or even an email asking if anyone could do anything for me. I have instigated every phone call myself and have been proactive every step of the way. At no point do I feel that anyone has helped me, infact I feel that the addition of another company, just muddied the water. I felt that I had to repeat the story, and was given misinformation about the fact that my car could not be recovered to a Suzuki garage. Really disappointing service, and still unsure what service you do offer.
Also told that the courtesy car that I received would be of a similar specification to my own, but was not: did not have several features that my car had e.g built in sat nav. Also, the car I received obviously had a previous user who smoked as smelt very badly of stale cigarette smoke.
Very disappointed with service and very upset that my car was damaged and was made to feel I had damaged it myself,
My experience with S.after care has not been good at all.
When I first phone I spoke with a young man who didn’t seem to know his job that well. I was requested to fill in a statement of truth online which I’m unable to do as I have an iPad. He said he’d send a copy, fine. This was first thing Thursday morning, Monday nothing had come, I phoned again and the same man answered, he admitted that he’d not sent it until the Friday and that it went 2nd class. By Wednesday it still hadn’t arrived so I phoned again and asked to speak to a supervisor, she apologised and sent another by 1st class, my call missed that days post, it arrived on the Friday. I returned it on Saturday by registered post, it arrived safely on Monday.
This was a whole week lost which shouldn’t have happened at all, plus all the stress involved, and the need to sort it out before I went away.
This communication that I should have received I’ve still have not received even now.......I don’t think he sent it at all!
Ashey Rd garage could not have been better Mark Winter the assessor that I’ve been dealing with was superb, very polite and thoughtful, and job they’ve done is really good. They were able to repair my car while I was away for three weeks which was perfec, collecting and returning it to my home..
My own garage Hale Common, is great, I would not want to go anywhere else for a car as I receive such good care from Keith and his team.
I would like to have feedback on my comments please.
