Placed an order for a pair of 128mb Samsung Rdram as advertised on pricewatch. Was shipped a pair of infineron ram without any notification what so ever. When i called spoke to a chinese man who spoke broken engish who stated "it is the same thing, no diffrence" He did not want to take the memory back and would not offer a refund only store credit. Fast shipping however only recomended if you don't really care if they ship you what you ordered.

I ordered the Visiontek GeForce 4 4600 video card from them online at about 3:30 PM. I then went home from work and about 5:30 PM that same day I checked my email. I saw that the card had already been shipped and I was given a UPS tracking number. Now that is what I call service!

purchased an MSI 48x16x48 cdrw for around $50 including tax. Ordered on a holiday knowing that most places would be closed. Recieved and email confimation and UPS tracking number a few hours later. the free ground shipping is great, and everything arrived as advertised, on time, and in good packaging. Would definitely order from this company again.

Ordered the Geforce4 MX440 with dual VGA connector and a PCI version of Geforce2 MX 400 both with 64MB memory. Works good and they quick services and fast delivery. Surely will go back to order again!!

I ordered 2 AMD combo motherboards and got them the very next day! This was after spinning my wheels for 2 weeks at two different Signal Hill companies (let's not go there). I have done business with Sybercom in the past, but had forgotten the great prices and shipping times they have. From now on this company will be my 1st stop for shopping.

Update: The motherboards I purchased were advertised by Sybercom as having VIA chipset 686B and this is NOT true. The chipset is 686A which often has the infamous Windows98se shutdown problem (and definitely does in this case).

I ordered Pioneer 106S 16X DVD Drive on the 19th, and i recieved a confirmation 5 minutes after i ordered. Better yet, i recieved an shipping confirmation email on the same day. I just got the drive yesterday which was expected since it was shipped through UPS. The package was well package, and the drive is flawless. This is a great vendor, great price (pricewatch), fast service, no hassle. Thanks, thumbs up for you guys, and definitely will do business again in the future.

I ordered a cpu/mobo combo on December 11th. I am constantly ordering parts from various companies all. (Mainly Newegg and Accessmicro). Ive never had a problem before, Sybercom has a new policy, and is very anal about the shipping address. (Keep in mind ive never had a problem before.)
It's now December 24th and STILL no motherboard/cpu combo. I called them today and I find out that my shipping address doesnt comply with their newest policy. Thanks to them, the christmas present i ordered for my brother will not arrive on time, and has not even been shipped. I had to call them to get them to even tell me this.

I strongly advise against ordering anything from this company. It's worth your time to order from someone a little more pricey, for the simple fact that you will actually get what you ordered.

This is the second time I ordered from Sybercom; 2 Chaintech 7AIA5E M/B with Duron 1.3Ghz CPU and Cooling Fan Comb. Order come neatly packaged through UPS (took 5 business days). It come with better cooling fans. The mobo combos run superb; no problems so far. This is a reseller I trust to do business with.

I ordered a 500GB Seagate USB drive. After reading reviews on this site warning of problems with used equipment, I reread the fine print on the Sybercom site and learned the drive is "recertified." I would not buy used equipment under any circumstances unless tricked, I believe this is somewhat deceptive. I bought a 250GB drive previously from Sybercom and had good success but this time I feel duped.

I ordered 2 drives and got IDE instead of SATA. It was my mistake. I have submitted RMA request 5 days ago, left a voicemail, and cc'd the RMA request to other email addresses at the company and still have not received a response.

Ordered a modem from them, called around 7:30 P.M. but someone was there to take my order, I received the product two days later, worked fine! I would recommend them highly! Shipping rate were very good also.

Purchased P4 1.5 Ghz - no hassles - great price - shipped within 24 hours as promised - arrived before UPS arrival date - excellent packing - working flawless (no stability probs) for a week now - will use sybercom again. Only worry - CPU came shipped betwix 2 pieces of foam wrapped with rubber bands.

I bought an expensive GF3 Ti500 videocard from sybercom because they were one of the only places that had them in stock at that time and stupid me i didn't want to wait. Well it turned out they contacted me by email 2 days later saying it wasn't in stock. So i still stuck it through with them and waited. Finally got it several weeks later, alot later after several other online stores had already restocked them. Well several months later it has died on me. I have spent 5 phone calls on them today, each time it was with a different person, all oriental which was very hard for me to understand but that was not the problem. The problem was they did not want to help me or honor the warranty, they just said to contact manufacturer. The manufacturer said it would take several weeks downtown for my comp since i had to send in card first. Well i contacted sybercom again and they had the video card on their website but outta stock. I asked if i could exchange for an equal price card or pay any differences since money was not the problem it's the downtime. I even asked if i could order another card and send this one back and they can give me an in store credit to use at a later date. No matter what, they did not want to mess with me regardless. Even after asking to speak to a manager she just said same thing, go to manufacturer. She told me that they will only credit me or exchange within 30 days and that anything else i need to go to manufacturer. Basically they blew me off. Well i spoke to the manufacturer and they were very nice and gave me no problems returning the card for another other than downtime. I should have just waited and stuck with a good company like Mwave.com, i've bought thousands of dollars from them and always had good tech support and they always sent me returns before i send them the defected item. I'm writing this to warn everyone about sybercom, not just that they shafted me, but that they do not support their customers, they are also inexperienced about computers, their hard to communicate with unless you are oriental, and really only care about the sell. I'm chalking it up as a bad expirence and a lesson well learned. Avoid at all cost, buy at a reputable place such as multiwave. All who positive reviewed sybercom are prolly people who have not needed any support from them what so ever, i guess they are lucky.

I ordered a 500GB Seagate external drive.

My order was processed in a timely fashion with the obligatory confirmation e-mail. I also received my order within the promised time frame.

Due to an apparent oversight on my part, I thought I had ordered a brand new drive when in fact I had just purchased a refurbished one. "Seagate Certified Repair" says the sticker. Certified being the key word.

Feeling hesitant, but needing to go forward with backing up data for a reinstall, the drive was put to work. Data was successfully transferred to the drive at which point it promptly FAILED and the data became unrecoverable. Attempts were made with multiple computers to access the drive to no avail.

I downloaded and filled out their RMA form which I emailed to the address they had listed for returns. It came back as undeliverable. Turns out you have to respond to the confirmation email to get through.

Adding insult to injury. . .Sybercom DOES (like many websites) have a clearly stated policy that there is a 20% restocking fee and customers are responsible for shipping on ALL returns. UNLIKE most websites, they stick firm on the return shipping fee even in cases where the product was CLEARLY defective due to no fault of the consumer. (I was able to avoid the 20% restocking fee)

All in all I am out $13 AND a wealth of data and time.

I did NOT order my next backup drive and will NOT order anything else from a company that DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCTS.

I am disappointed with this merchant. Their website indicated that the webcam I want was in stock 5 days ago when I ordered it. It has shown up as in stock every day since; it says it's in stock right now. Their shipping terms state that they ship same day if the order is received before 2pm; otherwise, next day, so it should have shipped last Friday (I ordered after 2pm on Thursday). Now it is after business hours the following Tuesday, and still pending. I asked about the delay and got the e-mail reply today: "We sold out current inventory. New shipment is scheduled to arrive anytime early this week. We might ship it today or on Wed." Might?

I wouldn't have ordered if I knew it wasn't really in stock. I could have ordered from Newegg instead, and would probably have it in hand by now.

I won't be ordering from Sybercom again.

I ordered a video card UPS ground Monday morning, it showed up on my doorstep Wednesday afternoon. The price for the card was the lowest on Pricewatch. No problems what-so-ever. Like others have said you get an e-mail confirming your order then another when it is shipped including the UPS tracking number. Excellent service. I'll be back.

bought geforce3 ti200 for $86.12 one of the cheapest at pricewatch. ordered it monday night, got email back next morning, and recieved my card thusday afternoon with UPS ground. kick ass! card working great. getting good fps. 2 thumbs up!

On June 14th I ordered a Visiontek Geforece2 Ti card from Sybercom. Shipping wasn't too expensive and the price was low. Using ground I got the card on the 20th, but it would have come sooner if i had not ordered on a friday. Excellent prices, nice site, and everything arrived fine and worked perfectly. I will definately be buying from them again.

A++ company :), I ordered a Visiontek 4200 128MB for $50 less than if i would have bought it at the mall (EB, Software Etc.). Order confirmation was on the next day of ordering around 8:00, probably because I ordered late at night around 8:00pm. And it shipped around 9:30pm the next day. I chose UPS ground and it arrived 5 business days later as planned. I chose this company because of all the great reviews on resellerratings.com.

I ordered a motherboard combo from Sybercom, the 1.1 Ghz Duron, fan, and Chaintech 7AIAO board. I received it well packaged. I have ordered serveral times with them and have always been well pleased with products and service. This time I had gotten the system completely up running Windows ME. I had just installed onboard sound drivers and everything was running smooth. However, next time I booted system back up I got bios checksum error. I tried running flash utility after downloading later bios bin file. Board would not let me run flash. Called sybercom tech support, after talking to Chiu, he agreed to send me another bios chip for board without me having to send eveything back with an RMA. I got the chip within three days. Plugged it back into the board and everything is up and running again. this is an excellent company with outstanding service. Would highly recommend company to anyone. Thanks Sybercom and Chiu.
