Another company quoted $3800 after paying $130 confirming what I already knew. plumbing and gas guys quoted over phone (sent photos) charged me about $1200 , I’m impressed with these guys

We had two great guys who replaced our solar hot water system this morning. Completed the job in the rain with no complaints. Prompt, polite and made sure the area was tidy when finished. I would definitely recommend the plumbing and gas guys.

I rang the company about a water leak, they where out within the hour. Plumber was very professional. Cost was very reasonable and would recommend the plumbing and gas guys to anyone.

Didnt have the part needed on board, they reckon i didnt tell them about the problem but i had said the taps not working properly, I didnt know that it was caused by the gas heater, company reckons they cant afford to stock their vans with everything, they charged me for the plumbers time to go and purchase the part, then discovered he needed another tool as he couldnt remove faulty anode (not even 1 yr old) and left again to purchase required tool, again charged for his time to go and purchase tool. I was not told by the repairer that i would be charged for this time, if i had I would not have gone ahead. When i queried the account I was told "well we didnt charge you for the tool". My hot water system is still not working as it should but i refuse to have them come back.

Very prompt response on a Sunday and technician was polite, which is a rarity nowdays. My only niggle is that he didn't have a part in his van which I expect most would carry (20 mm t valve) so he had to go to Bunnings to find it. As the customer, you pay even for the time when they go off to go buy parts but all said and done, good job and I will definitely use again.

Very happy with the service I received fast at short notice $about the same but nothing was a problem and fast knowledgeable I recommend them thanks Ben will see you again in the future

I just wanted to share my wonderful experience with Josh from The Plumbing and Gas Guys today! He was so knowledgeable, friendly and polite. I will be asking for him every time and will highly recommend to anyone looking for a plumber! Good honest trades are hard to come by and when you find them you should shout their praise.

I called the Plumbing and Gas Guys at 1030pm with an urgent blocked drain. They had their plumber Josh to me by 730am the next morning! He sent me a text to say he was on his way, he was friendly and kept me inforned the whole time. I will definitely be using them again- especially as they offer discounts for repeat customers! Hard to find a good honest and reliable contractor y these days.

I was very pleased with the service provided by The Plumbing and Gas Guys at my home yesterday. They arrived earlier than expected. The plumber was tidy and polite. I am usually very anxious with trades due to a bad past experience but he made me feel comfortable.
They were well priced and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. Reccommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reasonable plumber.

Like to say thanks to richy so prompt in coming out to sort my problem with not having hot water as I’ve recently had a new one put in by plumbing guys and am currently doing bathroom renovations thought it was my hot water system but it was the builders plumber that was at fault and richy sorted it out ASAP very professional and at no charge to me at all big thank you to plumbing guys highly recommend

The web site states that the Sunday rates are the same as normal weekday rates. Absolute rubbish. When the plumber rang me to discuss the job, the first thing he said was that the Monday to Friday rates are $90 per hour and that the Sunday rates are $360 per hour. “If it sounds too good to be true, it is.”

Midland Office staff were very responsive, had a plumber out to investigate a solar hot water system leak the same day and provided regular updates of plumber’s arrival. Plumber was very polite and provided options for system replacement. New solar system installed two days later, hardly knew they were there. Quite was accurate. Very happy with service from beginning to end.

Beware these guys charge $180 per hour. Paid $550 to simply terminate a water line and a gas line which wasnt finished as he couldnt find the line so had to pay 3 hours work. Also says 10% off when booking online but when the time comes to pay there is no mention of the discount.

I have been a regular customer from past 4 years and have had professional service provided. However yesterday had a guy who was on the phone for most of his time getting me to run the dishwasher cycle twice even though I showed him the pipe where it was leaking from. Also, got charged for 2 hours wherein the job only took abt 20 mins or so. When I rang up to pass on my feedback to [name removed] (owner) - he was very rude & arrogant. His resolution us he'll get the guy to give me a call back & explain instead of him being proactive and taking responsibility for his staff. And also says if you don't wish to use our service - do not use it and hangs up.

The plumber charged me with a 2 hrs job for the job that is only 1 hr.He went to shop for 40 min to buy materials which is I think too much time to spend.When asked him with regards to the invoice he told me that it is like that.Service fee includes the time he spent outside just to buy materials which is 40 min and the time that he prepares the invoice which is another 25 min.A total ripped off.I should have read the reviews first before calling them.

I had two great workmen help fix my hot water system - very polite, prompt and professional. Thank you [names removed] - happily Pd almost $600.
However there was a small hiccup that I was told would be fixed within the next hr ...but after waiting 4.5 hrs without water I called for the third time and was not happy...this then created delightful communication with the Manager of the company - [name removed]
As I said I am not blamesless but did not deserve the arrogance or unprofessional txt responses I received. And adva single female in the pouring rain at 9pm it took me a little longer to find the isolation value, too long it seems to respond to the Companys manger as per his txt messages.

In fact it's a very simple question that lets me know if the issue is resolved easy if there is a air bubble in the gas lineOtherwise if you can't be bothered then I won't help now and I won't help tomorrow if needed and it can wait until Monday like the good old days when people weren't so up tight’

I had the lovely Irish John come snd changeout hot water unit at my mums house he was quick and efficient and did a great job.

I had a leak in the water pipe and called them out to fix it, The plumber arrives and starts looking for the leak I told him I think the leak was out front, he ignored that advice and He dug a large hole out the back then he says he cant find the leak and leaves. I went out the front when he left and my front garden was under a inch of water. The plumber comes back the next day and digs a second hole right where I said the leak was coming from puts a 100 mm pipe in and fixes the leak He leaves the dug hole open and not filled in. I rang the company back she got told if I wanted the holes that he dug filled in it would cost me a additional hour
I get a invoice for over $350. Firstly they tried to over charge me by 30 mins, secondly they charged me for a second hour where as the leak could of been fixed in the first hour. They charged me $85 for a small piece of copper pipe
Do NOT use them they will rip you off.

Contact made early Friday morning via answering service & was promised a response in 15 minutes. After 4 1/2 hours & 2 more follow ups received a call from Anton. Promised a 9.30 arrival on Saturday but plumber arrived 12 noon. Ross the plumber was outstanding but Anton did not organise electrician to complete the job. I was told electrician booked for Monday however after following this up today Monday found out no booking was made & after some discussion with a colleague was told an electrician would arrive at 11.30 am (actually arrived 12 noon) and job completed in 1 hour. Electrician did a great job. From a rating point of view would rate young Ross at 5/5, electrician 5/5, management coordination 2/5 and pricing of job (?) - gas unit charge okay, plumbing hourly rate a bit on the high end but okay, charge for individual material items used not stated and electrician charges labour on the high side but materials okay rating 3/5.

Unprofessional - this morning younger guy came to my place to fixed the toilet was blocked, but his came to late and his spend time to explain to my husband what's the problem. His pumped toilet ones time ..his was opened the safety tank then his leaved his job. So I spend my time to put it back all and made same before and my husband was paid 180 dollars for nothing .
It's toilet different now still blocked.I have to call fifteenth compeny to do it job again
