Absolutely a magnificent POS system. Great use of Apple's interface, and extremely user friendly. We've been TouchBistro users since 2012, shortly after their launch, and it's the only POS system we've had, and I couldn't imagine using another POS system. While it's not 100% perfect (what is?), it's damn near pretty close. I can make changes seamlessly; Split checks; run reports any which way. It has made and helped our small family run restaurant grow, continuously, year after year, and TouchBistro is an integral part of that growth. Without TouchBistro and the efficiency it provides, we would not be in the position we are in now. Not to mention that their customer service and personal relationships we've developed with the team, throughout the years, have helped us tremendously. We couldn't be more happy, pleased, ecstatic, with the decision to go with TouchBistro. We can't wait to see the continued growth and improvements/integrations that are in store for the future! S. We run a small Cafe & Donut shop with an ever changing menu. The ease of modifications and new item set up is great. All staff are quickly trained on this very intuitive system, with little difficulty. The numerous reports are fantastic....with the ability to customize most of them is is a big bonus. We would highly recommend TouchBistro for any small to medium sized business.

TouchBistro POS system is great system and it is easy to train for servers and easy reporting for back office. Reason I give Good* rating instead of Excellent is that system has random bugs that should have been addressed in the earlier upgrades. Still giving problems on certain functions for admin( I learned to get around the problematic keys) however it does slow me down on busy nights like not able to void payment when mistake is made by servers. Some iPads allow to void payments but others doesn’t. It’s inconsistency in the system causes bugs at times and apps crash. Also I prefer to reprint only the copies I need instead of all duplicate credit card and gift card receipts. Right now it doesn’t give me that option. Feeling wasteful whenever I have to reprint missing credit card slips. Also with last 2upgrades, servers can’t delete unsent items without Managers’ override. There were able to delete unsent items before but not anymore. Needing manager’s override to delete unsent items on a busy night is super frustrating for busy restaurants. Have been in the industry for 20 plus years. Quite possibly the easiest POS ever. Lots of young workers learn how to use it by themselves (they even find out the features I didn't know). As an admin, it's very easy to make changes and the customer service help us whenever we have issues/problem promptly.

We opened for our first season in 2018 and Touch Bistro was a huge asset. It was easy to train staff on the ipads which most have prior knowledge. The back-end reports are excellent and provide all information needed to make improvements, forecasting and sales analysis. I would recommend easier access to remote login features for management so we are able to make changes quicker and easier.

I have been using TouchBistro for seven years now. I had to go through four other POS systems before finding TB, and I am very happy that I did. In our pizzerias, we use a single iPad with TouchBistro and integrate Square as our merchant service. In our full-serve restaurant, we have two full iPads - one at the bar, and one that the GM carries around - and the servers use iPad minis to take orders and send them directly to the printers in the kitchen before walking away from the table. The whole operation is seamless, and the ability to make changes to the menu on the fly is immeasurable. I highly recommend TouchBistro for your Point of Sale needs.

I have called several times because the drawer won't open right away and have followed the instructions I was given. It was better but still hangs up. Otherwise, the system was what I was looking for, easy to program, gives clear records.

Been with TouchBistro for 2 years know and has never failed. Very reliable only thing I don’t like is that I need to be @ my restaurnt on the system, to be able to make changes. Can’t be done over the cloud. My setup imac mini server, 1 iPad pro as main register and 3 ipad minis on the floor and 2 thermal printers. In the kitchen we run a printer and a KDS mirrored thru an apple tv to a 32” tv for a better view of the orders. Overall is a great system. Highly recommended.

I have a table service restaurant within 90+ seats. I’ve used TouchBistro for over a year now. It is a very solid, easy-to-use, fast-to-learn POS that makes most tasks super easy: modifiers, happy hour pricing, splitting tickets, and best of all, handing guests an iPad for at-table credit card swiping. It’s great for clocking in and our, keeping tabs of credit card tips, and a host of charts and insights via the iPad as well as a website to review all your data. Integrations with 3rd party apps are also available for gift cards, staff scheduling, etc. Nonetheless, there are a few shortcomings that I hope are addressed in future updates. My biggest desire is to have additional security features, such as administrator access and varying levels of allowing staff to access restricted areas. As it stands currently, even nightly close out requires admin access to perform. Same with adding or removing men7 items or making other changes. There is only one admin access and any staff that needs to change or close the day has the keys to the kingdom, even time records, rates of pay, etc. This is a serious drawback. After extensively comparing TouchBistro to other POSes, I found TB to offer a great software for a reasonable price. Customer service is also outstanding.

TouchBistro was so easy that even my 9 year old could use it. Making changes to the system was a breeze. The best feature has to be the reports that it generates. Taking orders and paying checks right at the table saves a lot of time and steps for the servers.

Our Toronto Hapa Izakaya location was one of TouchBistro's earliest clients and it felt like we were growing together. When it came to replace our old Micros POS in Vancouver, it was a no-brainer to switch to TB. Not only has service and function been top notch, but I'm proud to support a company that started off in Canada.

Our venue has been using TouchBistro for the past five years as our POS system. We have never had a serious problem with the software, even when asking a lot of it on a very busy night. New employees have been able to learn it quickly and find it intuitive and simple to navigate. Any issues have been worked through quickly with altheir very responsive customer service team.
