Understood I was purchasing European engineered oak flooring but found out it is manufactured in China. Joints are different thicknesses so very difficult to lay. Pay the extra and make sure it is manufactured in Europe. Had it professionally laid but he said it was poorly manufactured.

I received a delivery notification email for the flooring to be delivered on Friday 23rd November. I waited all day there was no sign of flooring delivered on this day. I made my first call Monday morning after waiting on line for 30minutes I was promised someone to update via email. I made the second and third calls and promised with an update via email but no one has been in touch nor had any idea where my Flooring’s were. Tuesday the same thing contacted customer services via email and called several times no sign of update note my order could not be located. Another day now Wednesday the same replay from the customer service. Today, I rang, customer service to be told that an attempt for delivery were made and I had to pay another £68 for rescheduling the delivery ( not only I was disgusted by the extra charge but the lady on the phone Polly, were so rude, very intimidating and unhelpful) when I asked why the driver didn’t leave any note if what they said was true she replied,” she simply have to take the drivers word against mine” and she had nothing to show as evidence to proof drivers made an attempt to deliver) this been said, our phone conversation lasted over 45 minutes of her being reluctant and outrageous. However I had no other option but to pay for the second delivery charge hoping for the flooring to be delivered Monday 3rd December. At this point I seriously want my money back and UK flooring direct to keep their flooring to themselves I didn’t want a reminder of unhappy situation laid on my house floor, but having the money back was not an option.

My partner and I spent well in the 1000s on a new floor for our first time flat. It was a full renovation. The engineered wood floor (which all in all with labour cost 5,000) developed a fault within two months of being put down. Reached out to the retailer and they told me it’s normal...? The resin is falling off and ruining the look If the floor where it comes off. It’s clearly faulty. I am not sure why this is not covered under a guarantee. No repair was offered, no solution was offered I had just been told it’s normal and can happen because of temp and humid change. Do not have any such problems in my new flat. I also found it very interesting they have come to this conclusion without visiting. In any case- It’s not normal for a product to fall apart within months of purchase. No where does it actually state on the website that the resin will start falling off within weeks of installation. The black resin is a design feature of the floor and by falling off ruins the look of it. It will not look as advertised. It started in a few areas and now I see new chunks gone everyday. I now have no choice but to try and claim the money back off them. Feel completely robbed and stupid to have trusted them. This company is a disgrace and I am appalled at the level of care I have received. I fully regret having bought from them and trusting their website. As mentioned this is our first time property, project and home. If this is happening after 2 months how will it look in 5 years...If the problem gets worse we potentially face ripping out the entire floor, new skirting architraves and starting again. I am now also seeing pages and pages of dissatisfied customers which is extremely concerning.

I’m so disappointed They send to me the wrong laminate wrong colour And cheapest one on the market Customer cervice sucks ???????????????????????????? No answer to mails !!! Definitely will ask for money back

After laminte flooring installed for over 4 months but the bad acrid smell still there once i shut the window and door for one hour. I AM so desperated now without any help. To be hoest really want to take them all off to replace but ther are very expensive costed me over one thousand pounds. what can i do now.

I've never experienced a more incompetent company than uk flooring direct. Avoid at all cost. Damaged goods. Ignored all forms of communication. Closed my complaint without so much as an acknowledgement. Utterly disgusted.

I had been liking for ages for flooring for my kitchen and eventually found one on Uk Flooring Direct website and contacted them to order it until they said the price for delivery £50 as I live in Scotland. Aberdeen is a major city it is not in the back of beyond . I’ve never been charged this amount when ordering online before. Think they should have a look at their deliver charges. I might still have to pay this if I can’t source the flooring elsewhere. Mention to Sarah though as she was very helpful / polite and knowledgeable

Flooring still not delivered, had to call 8 times over a period of 10 days, still yet to give me an answer to where it is. Told 3 times a manger will call back, escalated as per customer services, yet 72 hrs later and still waiting. Chased again only to be told same lie! A manger will call you back within 24hrs and I'm expected to buy that after 72hrs and still no call or floor! Had to turn away my trades man 3 days running as nothing for him to lay.

Why there is no zero star as this company deserve 0 star. HEAVY PRICE if i put in short from a long story. This site's review is so useful but i didn't see it before i did quick order as the sales was going to end soon. Till now just realise they do the sales 24/7/365. i have to tear it up as the so so disgusting smell after fit the flooring which cost me over 2000 quids. The pungent smell seems like doesn't go away so tried to contact customer service but the answer is their product never got bad smell.and then tried to ask them to get manufacturer's information but nothing happening. I was just wondering such a poor rubbish product how did they flow to the market. It's too late to regret.!!! Wasted your money! Wasted your time! Wasted your energy!

I ordered flooring had it installed after 5 and a half months chips all along all over the place when it was butted up to the next piece, contacted t hem, filled out form, sent loads of pictures, but apparently their expert of 25 years could not see the faults, yet everyone I showed the pictures to could, is an obvious fault, but not according to them. I also had to answer lots of technical questions, which I did, my flooring was installed by a qualified flooring engineer, the stuff downstairs is poor quality and not fit for standard, but they will do nothing about it, so have contacted manufacturer, who is on the case. Second lot I bought have to say was superior quality and looks great. I have taken my case further, wrote to MD, not even had the decency tor reply. Will never use them again, funniest thing was they told me my cats needed their claws trimmed as they would scratch the flooring, I laughed so much at reading this nearly fell of the sofa. They they offered me a mop and some cleaning stuff, another laughable answer. Shameful way to treat customers. Will never use them again.

Purchased flooring advertised as suitable for a kitchen, within 6 months the flooring started to de-laminate. According to UK Flooring direct this was due to poor installation and over cleaning! Never the product itself. After getting no written response from the company I had to take further action. Do not buy from this company, they will take your money and will have no interest in any problems you have after that. I had to take them to court. CCJ against them.

Having paid for the wood in September and agreed a November delivery date I was informed on the Saturday, after the delivery date had passed, that the wood wasn't available. I was unhappy as my order should have been reserved but wasn't. I agreed a different wood and was promised a Tuesday delivery. Checked the status of the order on the Monday - still not shipped. 3 calls to them later I eventually was told that there had been a mixup and the delivery would be Wednesday AM. Received confirmation that the delivery would be on the Tuesday. Received another email to say the delivery would be Wednesday 8-6. By this time I was seriously annoyed. Am now sitting waiting to receive not the phone call that won't happen. How can a company be so inept. Never using them again. It seems if they can't ship on the day the order is placed you risk not getting what you paid for. Seriously unimpressed.

worst service I ever experienced... I've made 2 orders: on the first order it did not arrived on agreed date at all without even a phone call or email. next day they reschedule the date but after all it was late again on 2nd order to complete rest of my house delivery was rescheduled 3 times !!!!!! i recieved refurd for delivery cost but its not good enough for me as i had to reschedule instalation and other deliveries 5 times in total on 2 orders only... i called them and asked for a discount to be refunded to reimburse for my consequential costs but obviously they don't care. if you can choose other company. less hassle

Ordered astroturf on April 11th. Is now May 18th and still no product even afternpayimg for 'express delivery for £11.95' Have requested a refund via PayPal as the company wouldn't send a refund, answer attempted calls or reply via email. My order was only for £100 but seeing the reviews of others in the same boat for orders in excess of £500 is just sad. Hate dirty, disrespectful and lying companies. Please avoid and save yourself some money and stress.

There’s no option for zero stars as if there was this company would be getting zero! My husband and I are stunned a company can treat customers so badly! We ordered some flooring for our lounge around 5 weeks ago. This flooring would not connect together, we attempting to call customer service with no luck so after a while called the sales team! (Surprise surprise they answered straight away!) said they had previous issues with that flooring and we will be issued a refund but whilst waiting for customer service we should order another batch to see if it works (as we were desperate to fit the flooring so could finish out lounge we opted for this. The new floor came and all was fine and was installed. However, we still have the faulty floor in our house in the middle of our kitchen for to lack of space to Store it! We have tried calling, emailing, sending messages on social media online chat and all possible avenues to contact uk flooring to arrange collecting and refund of the faulty flooring. We have been ignored for over 4 weeks! Last week I spoke to someone on the sales team as they are the only ones who answer the phone! The lady arranged for collection on Wednesday.. ( I won’t go into detail of how rude said lady was and unhelpful but at least we had collection arranged) I then waited in all day for the collecting and (yep you guessed it) no one turned up! No one called or gave any reasons to why no one showed up! We are now becoming desperate as we really do not have the space to store the flooring, we have family over for Christmas and currently faulty flooring is out centre piece! We also desperately need the money refunded so we can buy more presents and afford Christmas! Uk flooring you are really putting our little family in a really difficult position and we are shocked and horrified you are treating us so inhumanly Please please come and collect the floor before Christmas and refund us the money you owe

My order arrived with two badly damaged boxes, I phoned up same day got told to send picture which I did then 7 days later still herd nothing had no replacement, I had sent 2 follow up emails 3 phones which I was on hold 20 minutes and 25 minutes so gave up, phoned up again today 15 days after my oragnial order and nothing had been done so now its been orded again and should be here Friday fingers crossed , its cost alot in phones calls and alot of chasing up am not sure I would buy from them again to he honest

I have been emailed by your company 10 times pushing me to place an order, fortunately after reading all the reviews I will definitely not be buying from your company, they are obviously operating a blatant scam, but, I will search for a reputable company with more than a 1 star rating. Companies like this should be reported to the appropriate UK organisation and closed down.
