UPDATE: 10 working days later still no refund. i rang and they said another 7 days, rang again next day they said it takes 15 days???? having to go through credit card company to get my money back. Its unbelievable!

I only wish I had checked here before doing so.
It should have set alarm bells ringing when the fastest delivery option was nearly 2 weeks.
So, anyway, the allocated time for delivery came & went, and the goods obviously never arrived. I started emailing/messaging them, but EVERY one of these was ignored/not responded to.
In the end, I called them. That was even worse.
After 25 minutes I finally got through to a lady who said her name was ****..
She was of no help at all. She wouldn't tell me what had been done in the 14 days since I'd paid for the item, wouldn't tell me when the item was likely to be dispatched or when it might arrive.
She wouldn't allow me to cancel the item as it was now "allocated" (which it had been for 4 days already).
She wouldn't allow be to speak to her supervisor or manager, and then, finally she hung up on me.
I have now asked my bank to start a Chargeback claim.
I would avoid this company at all costs - even if they seem a few quid cheaper - it's just not worth it.
If I could give 0 stars, I would have done so.

they sent me two emails to say that my refund would be back in my account within 3-5 days.
then on dec 24th ups turned up and I refused delivery.
they now say I have to wait till they get it back before they will refund me and by the reviews on here looks like poss end of january before I MIGHT SEE MY MONEY AGAIN.
emailed them and told them that the refund should be given back to me straight away but no REPLY.
never dealt with such incompetent people before and in my opinion do NOT NOT NOT BUY FROM THESE IDIOTS

I made the order, then immediately paid the bill with my debit card, intending to get the money back from my friend in the next few days to reimburse my bank account.
Two days later, the order had no further notifications. My friend managed to get through to WAE+ by telephone, only to be informed that the item was out of stock, despite the site saying to the contrary. He then had the order cancelled.
He has since re-ordered the item from another supplier, but in doing so, means I am now not getting the cash back from him to reimburse my bank account.
I telephoned my credit card today at around 12:30pm and spoke to an advisor. He said that it can take up to 30 days for a company to refund money to the credit card.
However I have since found this site, and it is inundated with hundreds of bad reviews. Why my friend, who is normally very security-conscious, didn't check this beforehand, is beyond me. As he is a smart individual I took it as read that the information given to me was legal and correct. Some people have waited over the thirty day period - one review is from someone who has waited TEN WEEKS and is still awaiting their refund - so I am now becoming more and more worried that I will not see my money again.
I have contacted trading standards and BBC Watchdog, giving the link to this website to both. All I want id for WAE+ to reimburse my credit card, then I can get the money from them back to my bank.
I have never, EVER experienced such shoddy customer service in my life. Telling me on the phone that the lines are busy (with angry customers, no doubt!) and not even having a queuing system??! Then to use the "fast response" option, TWICE today, to return home from a funeral to find NOTHING in my inbox? They had the WHOLE AFTERNOON to reply!!!!!!!
This is only the tip of the iceberg. My credit card company are aware of this and will be taking steps to reclaim the money. Any other public organisations that i can report them to, I will do so. I WANT MY REFUND.

Hi Team I note that you are still ignoring me; I have not even received an auto-response for several days, I suppose you are just carrying out your normal business practice.
WAE+ took my Money on the 18 May 2013 add 30 days and Repayment is due 17 June 2013 then WAE+ are legally required to RETURN MY MONEY.
Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulation 2000 legislation states that a trader has up to 30 days to supply goods. If that does not happen, the trader is in breach of contract and the consumer is entitled to a full refund without question. If a customer cancel an order the trader must refund your money, as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.

I am starting to get excited as my enforced 30 day wait’ it can't be that far off before I see my money again, I don’t want any tears at your end when you release that huge amount of money back to its rightful owner. Many thanks for the email which points to your conditions of sale, I would much prefer that you gave me my REFUND which no way conflicts with your maximum 30 day wait, I have spoken to Trading Standards Service Warwickshire and I got some wonderful news; they told me that it wasn’t illegal to RETURN customers money before the 30 days are up so happily I can get my money back today and get some food for my poor dog (Humphrey). At the moment we are sharing my dinner and Humphrey dribbles on my half.
As you know it was you who increase the delivery time as soon as you got my money which was the reason I cancelled the order.

Hi Team & automated computer this is just to remind you I would like to buy into WAE+ after my accountant has seen the books that is, but from what I’ve seen on the web you do seem to have a lot of money going in and not much going out, It seems a lot of your customers are waiting for REFUNDS.

These people accepted my payment immediately, for what they clearly advertised as an "in stock" item (my purchase 27th March) and then emailed me several days later (10th April) to say.....
" this item is no longer available due to issues" ....and in my case claim that I emailed them to query stock!! which I most certainly did not, why would I when the item was ordered when IN STOCK and my order designated as awaiting fulfilment.
Oddly enough the graphics card in question was simultaneously, and is still being advertised upon their website but for £183 rather than the £177 I purchased it for (google search RADEON HD 7870 XT, then google shopping tab and you will find WAE+ listed and the link will take you to the website page where it is still being avertised as in stock).
What options do you have, reorder the same item at the higher price......I don't think so (advertised as being in stock but why repeat the same mistake of trusting this company- the item may be allegedly in stock or unavailable at a different price..........and even then it may not be available).
So I asked for a refund, the non supply of the ordered item being totally attributable to this companies inability to deliver upon the transaction, not me the customer.
This is where the sting kicks in, please read pasted email from them which I received today (please see below)

So in effect I have provided this company with what I am sure will be a 30~40 day interest free loan, purely because as a customer I was tempted by the price of a supposedly IN STOCK item.
I regret that I did not research a little about this company and its business model before I purchased.
I am equally bemused and disappointed that I have to award them even 1 star in order to write a review about my WAE+ expect MORE grief for couldn't care LESS service, experience.
Apparently I am now eligible for a £10 WAE+ store credit for writing a review of their disingenuous business. I don't think that I will take advantage of it somehow.
I only wish that I had never found this company on a price comparison search.
I can only recount my experience of them (WAE+) obviously. However, I can only hope that by taking the time to write this review, that prospective WAE+ customers will weigh up my experience (and that of other people I see on this review page, that have had similar dealings with WAE+) against "positively glowing" reviews that have been posted within hours of purchasing from their website (store credit incentive), without knowing what the outcome of their transaction will be???
Hopefully, some of you will then avoid involuntarily subscribing to providing this company with a 30+ day interest free loan ((when your IN STOCK order becomes unavailable several days after they have banked your payment, due to issues beyond you, the customers control).
Do yourselves a good service, learn from my mistake/experience and avoid any purchase or transaction with WAE+

On 17/10/12 (the latest possible delivery date) one half of my order was delivered by UPS, the other was nowhere to be seen. After telephoning WAE+ and speaking to their customer service advisor after a long delay I was advised the second item was out of stock (despite STILL showing as “in stock” on the website) and would be with me in 3 weeks.
By this point I had read enough legitimate reviews to know this was likely to be ambitious at best and misleading at worst and so I cancelled the second part of the order.
After going through another retailer and receiving the missing part within two working days (for no extra delivery cost) it was time to put my PC together, but lo-and-behold the part WAE+ had sent out to me was faulty. Fantastic. I had been slightly suspicious of the dog-eared manual and the unsealed packaging when it had arrived, but the motherboard itself had looked new enough upon closer inspection. However, I do fear someone else had been through the same process.
So it was back to the telephone, where WAE+ were actually pretty prompt in sorting things out for me. They advised I fill in a return form and arrange a collection with UPS, all of which took place in a very swift timescale, but of course when it came to getting a replacement item more problems arose.
Firstly, I was specifically told by one of their two customer service representatives that there were “many motherboards in stock” and so getting a replacement would not be a problem. Three weeks and three frustrating calls later ("it WILL be with you by next week") though, and I was still empty-handed. At the completion of the third week (now five weeks after I had made my initial order) I asked for a refund for this part of the order – although the first still had not arrived.
Weeks came and went with no money appearing in my bank account until finally the 30 days expired and I took things further. I felt I had no choice but to report WAE+ to the Police (Action Fraud), Trading Standards (Birmingham), Internet Shopping Is Safe (via their own website) and BBC Watchdog.
I forwarded as many of the negative reviews I found on this review website and others to all concerned parties, I dug-up issues related to their previous company which went very much the same way and began robbing customers by asking for bank transfers as payment (WAE without the +), I informed them of the Guardian articles about both companies and finally about the investigations into their use of fake positive reviews (paid-for) to offset the truthful ones which seemed to prove conclusive. All of this is available to find easily enough with an online search engine, should you be so inclined.
After two months I have just got my money back thanks to pushing a chargeback through my bank (with the help of a crime reference number from the police) and I’m now here to share my experiences of this awful company.
I could forgive it if it was just incompetence, but I think my experiences allied with the hundreds of others I have found related to the people who run this company show that this goes far deeper than that. They appear to be untrustworthy, unscrupulous and quite possibly criminal. I would not advise that you shop with them at any cost and if you have the time, I would urge you to do whatever you can to ensure that they are shut-down and prevented from trading again in the future.

Eventually, they accepted that I had not had the delivery. On 30 Nov I used "fast response" to formally cancel the order and ask for a refund. By this time I had managed to get email contact with one of their staff (she emailed me after a phone call on 27Nov to tell me the missing delivery was "being investigated"). On 5 December she emailed me to say "we have now cancelled your order . . . provide you with a full refund". As the legal requirement is only that a refund should be made within 30 days of cancellation, I didn't expect any money before the end of December. On 31 December I logged on to their website and got a message saying "orders prior to 21st Nov ... due to a technical issue ... we are unable to refund these from our systems ... contact your bank and dispute the transaction".
I paid with a Barclaycard, so now I'm using their "dispute a transaction" process to try and get a refund, but that's another story.

Obviously not possible for all of these things to be true, and anyway the item is still showing as in stock on their website. My payment is now being reclaimed by my bank.

They show my item as in stock when i ordered it, 9 days later they still show it as in stock - but they don't have, they cant send it out.
They tried to talk me out of cancelling my order by saying that it will take them 30 days to give me my money back!!! I am sure their main income is interest off all the money they have scammed out of people and held onto for what will be 39 days by the time i get a refund!
