I ordered a Samsung Galaxy battery. It was the wrong size, I returned the battery in its original packaging and everything that it contained and asked for a refund. A month later I am still trying to get my refund. Some of the comments made by their Manager (Richard) have included:

Hi we do give clear instructions on our web site in how to return items why did you not follow them ?

Hi not really we are very strict on this we cannot make it any clearer that you have to fill in a returns form before sending items back.

He is asking for a particular form to be completed after the items have been returned to them. They now have a battery that they can re-sell and KEPT MY MONEY.

Rather than resolve the issue, he seems more intent on making this situation a mockery while not dealing with the issue at hand and that is to return my money in good faith just like I returned the battery and the packaging in good faith and the postage was at my cost.

I am completely stunned and shocked by their customer service and their unwillingness to deal with the issue at hand.

Because of this, I want to make it known publicly about how bad their customer service is and their manager Richard requires Customer Service training as a matter of urgency.

The latest comment from Richard is the following:

Yes then look at John Lewis (know for its excellent customers service) on the same site ? We have 70,000 customers and only 15 or 20 bad reviews EXCELlENT Id say.

That comment is not useful and does not deal with the matter of my money being returned to me in good faith for a product that was not fit for purpose.

ANOTHER EMAIL CONVERSATION, STILL NO RESOLUTION.

I am stunned at this level of customer service, wouldn’t even get this low level service from a Pound Shop.

I have no problem in responding:

1. Why would I waste my time buying the wrong product?

2. Why would I waste my money buying the wrong product?

3. Why would I subject myself to such incredibly bad customer service and incredibly obnoxious emails. I hope you and your organisation will be investigated in due course.

Again, I shall repeat myself, World of Accessories sent me the wrong battery type, I returned it in good faith and sent it as I received it, I am asking for the money to be refunded as you have no right to keep my money for a product that was not fit for purpose.

I am adding all this to the comment made on Reseller Ratings so that other customers are aware of the type of customer service they can expect should they dream of purchasing anything from World of Accessories.

I won’t stop until my money is rightfully returned.

THIS IS DEPRESSING. YET ANOTHER EMAIL IN RESPONSE TO RICHARD ...

I did not send you the old battery because it never occurred to me that should be done.

i do not have the phone with me. It is at home, dead and unusable. I am away working.

Again, I shall repeat myself:

1. I ordered a battery for a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT 19505.

2. The battery I received was too small for this. I returned the battery, now I am asking you to return my money.

3. You have no right to keep my money for a product that was not fit for purpose.

4. As I have stated several times, you are asking me to complete a form AFTER the product was returned.

5. Send me back my money, you do not have the right to withhold my money. You have received your product back.

We are going around the houses, you are refusing to look at the main issue at hand, the battery was the wrong size, it has been returned and I want my money back, simple.

This is now being added to Reseller Ratings comment on the internet for anyone who googles World of Accessories.

I won’t stop.

WILL THIS EVER END, SENT ANOTHER EMAIL :( THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ...

I am asking you to return my money.

I have returned the battery to you, you have not returned my money to me.

You can say whatever you like, but you cannot keep my money.

I am beyond understanding Richard and how the World of Accessories employ him ...

Yes the battery has been returned, packaged up carefully, everything intact and sent back in good faith.

I do not require any other information from you, other than get my money back.

i am now in the process of putting all this information on twitter and Facebook and other social media networks.

I am sending all these emails to Trading Standards.

I am sending all these emails to the BBC programme Don’t Get Done Get Dom.

Enough is enough.

I want my money back.

Bought a USB cable to connect my Samsung mobile to PC. The listing clearly states it works with W7 and the model of phone.

However, the phone is not recognised by W7 and there are no USB drivers available.

I contacted them and explained this and that the cable is not fit for the purpose it was sold for. They kept saying that software was available on the Samsung site, but, sent a link that was dead. I pushed and pushed for them to provide a working link or tell me where I can get the drivers, but, they wouldn't.

They refuse to refund me and now are not replying to emails.

I am very tempted to take the through Small Claims Court, but, the amount involved is less than £10 and probably not worth the agro, although I would love to do it just on a point of principle.

My advice would be to think very hard if you are planning to purchase through them as their level of customer service leaves a lot to be desired and I wish I had seen the other comments on this site before I trusted them.

My old Dell laptop adapter failed, so I ordered one that night. First thing in the morning I received an email saying that the new adapter has been dispatched first class. Just 1 day later I received my adapter, so I'm writing a quick review using it to say thank you for the speedy service. Very few companies out there offer free delivery on royal mail first class, so hats off to this company.

I will accept the refund for the item you clearly do not understand that you are in the wrong and I'm fed of exchanging emails where you state Black is White repeatedly!

I'm also quite appalled at your level of customer care and lack of regard for good will.

Before I even placed my order I phoned the Sales Line and asked you to confirm that the unit I could see on your website was charged via the original Apple Cable and you confirmed it was. So I told you there and then on the phone, I would be ordering on line in the next few minutes and duly did. I had been researching online and looking for exactly this sort of unit for several days. I was so pleased when you confirmed it used the Apple Cable.

Initially you sent me a standard docking station worth £5.99.

This was returned with an email to you stating which item I had in fact ordered. You have all my emails on file I'm sure.... just check... If not I have copies of them all and can forward if you need.

You then sent out a Dexim unit which has the micro USB Cable... I knew without even opening the box this would not work for me... So I phoned and spoke to the Sales Guy who was very helpful at that time but has been rude ever since... and he confirmed that you cannot supply what I ordered and need, and that I should return the Dexim for a refund. Had you bothered to check with me before sending the substitute Dexim unit I would have advised that it was not suitable for my needs.

Simply a phone call or email to state the unit as advertised on your website was not in stock or available soon and an issue of a refund would have been perfect.

Now I have nothing but a bad experience with yourselves and will not be able to recommend you as a reliable on line vendor or wish to purchase from you again.

I have since managed to get hold of this unit from ebay

and I can confirm that no cable is included in the packaging and that it is charged and allows syncing via the standard Apple Cable... by coincidence it is visually the same as the Unit advertised on your website.

However you know better and apparently the Dexim P Flip is the Same as what I ordered even though visually they could not be more different. Oh and by the way did I mention the Dexim uses a Micro USB Cable to sync and charge which is not suitable for my needs.

Why would I order something not suitable for my needs.

Why SHOULD I PAY FOR POSTAGE for 2 Deliveries both of which were NOT WHAT I ORDERED.

The fact that you did have any stock of what I ordered and sent something else without asking if I wanted it or if it was even suitable for my needs is your poor judgement not mine!

The fact that you see fit to make me pay for postage for your mistakes is very poor Customer Service on your part!

Update: Still no refund has been issued by this Vendor even though 4 Days ago they said it would be made shortly.

Ordered cable, charger and car charger, car charger didn't arrive, phoned and they did send within 3 days.... charger described as compatible with iPad, it didn't work, phoned and emailed and was spoken to like I'm some idiot!! emailed me in capitals as though shouting at me, tried it in iPhone and message APPEARS not certified and may not work properly with phone, then the cable end snapped off.
Another email, and sent another "genuine" cable......needless to say same message appears, how are this company getting away with this?

I ordered a cable for my TomTom. took over a week to arrive 2nd class but was charged 1st class, when I called to ask where item was I spoke to the rudest person ever Richard who blamed the post !!!!

Ordered an "Genuine" iPhone battery (pictures on website would suggest it was - I just hope it is if it ever arrives) and some screen protectors on Monday 8th September - told posted 1st class Royal Mail on Monday 8th September 2014 - still not arrived. I was blaming Royal Mail but reading the other reviews I am now rather concerned and very unhappy with the service.

I ordered two iPhone chargers by mistake and returned them immediately, they took one month to get there, I am still waiting 6 weeks later for my refund. I ordered two more chargers to replace them, they stopped working almost immediately, thy would not refund them because they had not received them back within 28 days, I am £40 out of pocket and without a charger. I telephoned and was told they only do sales by phone so I needed to email, must have reached 10 emails now and still nothing. Would NEVER use them again

Ordered an iPhone5 adapter, the first one was lost in the post so they happily reposted a replacement via a recorded service at no extra cost. Unfortunately the item was found to be unsuitable and a full refund was given on return of the item.

I have never ever dealt with such a bad company or such a rude person before (Richard). Firstly my order never arrived which was blamed on me then when I finally recieved another one a month later it was broken to which i emailed and was supplied with a refund code and address which i sent and still havent recieved my refund or new charger, when i asked for my refund by email I got a very unpleasant email getting personal about how i had a job, very upsetting. All there reviews on there website are fake as if you read all of the reviews on here you will clearly see how unprofessional this company is and to avoid them. I wish i had read the reviews before now i am out of pocket.

I ordered an iphone 3gs charger from them. On their website they claimed it was genuine- IT IS FAKE! After less tthan 2 months it doesn't work and my phone recognised it was a fake and told me 'charging is not supported by this accessory'! THEY ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY!

The twin charger purchased before Christmas as a gift blew up in a puff of smoke soon after, on complaining I was told " Hi the law states we only have to offer 7 day and we offer 4 weeks so Im sorry we will not extend that period" no concern shown for the products safety at all. Don't buy from this Company
