Although having to report an outage via a form online yesterday, the guys were here within the hour and fixed the problem immediately, well done to the call out guys!

Ausgrid replaced street lights with LEDS earlier this week down our street, all the street lights haven't worked since, plus surrounding streets, reported it every night, via their web site, no acknowledgment,wife's phoning during the day, gets in a queue, then gets disconnected, try's later same thing, you cant talk to anyone, I suppose they've done that because they get so many complaints !!!!!!!!!!!! Barry ps you should have negative stars, maybe about 50

For years my electricity meter box has been unlocked, with a clearly gaping open lock through just one of the covers.

When I got my last bill from my electricity supplier it was an estimate with a note "meter box locked". I went outside and NO it was open, as it has always been.

The meter reader was obviously too lazy/tired/ couldn't be bothered to do his/her job properly.

But at least they gave an excuse for not reading it: over the years there have been many instances when they haven't bothered, with an estimate arriving, no explanation.

I've complained to my supplier but they told me they have no control over AUSGRID and there's no alternative. WHY? Does anyone know?

I'd dump them in a heartbeat if able to....

Power has been out no technician for 8 hours. No storms in area just undermanned by choice some competition is required in this field clearly they are taking us for a joke.

Provide so called ""regular"" inspection (every 8 years) on residential powerline connection. Customer service ignored customer's questions and replied with irrelevant information.

Early Sunday morning we were woken up by the sound of our supply cable from the pole arcing and popping like a machine gun when it split in half. We called the fire brigade and Ausgrid. Firies checked for danger and Ausgrid technician made it safe. The line crew restored the power by lunch time. Well done to all!!

We are out of Electricity from 9th of Feb 2020, Sunday after the storm hit and did some damage to our electricity supply. it is 17th Feb, Monday and we are still out of electricity. I have never seen such incompetent power suppliers ever. Even though it is not a complex repair as the wire is dangling and needs to be fixed as been told by Ausgrid only. We are still awaiting for the power supply. It's not a third world service but it's much worse than that. How come they are always out of resources all the time. For what we are paying them for. Unbelievable Ausgrid. If possible, I would have given 0 or -ve review to Ausgrid. In the country where rains and storms are very common such outage response and SLA is extremely unacceptable.

I’d had no hot water for a couple of days when I figured out the problem was at the meter. I called Ausgrid at 10.51am and received a call from the technician at 11.35am fo say it was fixed. Outstanding!

It only took a day and night to get my power back on in Annandale in very difficult circumstances when the waiting list was very long! 13 February 2020. The fallen branch on Trafalgar Lane which fell on Sunday was cleared yesterday, Some people like myself still has electricity but lost it yestrday morning. Excellent service and thank you. Glad I did not have to wait until the weekend - or longer!

Privatising the industry means there is not enough staff to cope with emergencies of which there is at least a few storms like this in our area every year.
We work from home and need power in Arcadia!

Opening retail premises was told tech attending yesterday, yep he attended an empty shop failed to go to mdf room and connect. 10 calls later today ended paying an after hours connection fee and guess what - no show !

Hope Ausgrid are ready to pay for loes of stock

So far, we have had 2 power outages in the Greenacre area this month. A couple years back, they assured me they had updated their infrastructure and outages would not happen in the future. 2 years on, outages still occurring with new infrastructure built on the Hume Highway . Outage in January 2020 took 15 HOURS to repair. The outage yesterday took 21 HOURS!!! We pay for you to distribute electricity and keep your equipment in good order. I didn’t realise we lived in a 3rd world country. This distributor are crooks!! Get your act together AUSGRID or get out of the energy distribution business. My elderly neighbour, 2 doors down, is receiving palliative care at home for cancer with no power to their home!
We can’t use water because of water restrictions and then you turn power off!!
AUSGRID, you should be ashamed of yourselves. If I could give you no stars, I would have!!
