Blueprint Homes

Built with blueprint homes in 2008 then in 2011 they came and replaced all vanity tops due to incorrect silicon as stated by there builder upon viewing, now shower has leaked to kids room taking off all plaster and just so happens the slab was cracked all underneath, maybe the waterproof wasnt done properly, however we are told they can't help us just provide a number to get it fixed ourselves.
Grout intact tiled floor to ceiling.
Would like to know where to from here.
If Any one has experienced this I would love to hear from you.

All aspects of our dealing with Blueprint Homes was amazing, from the salesman that sold us the house, to our supervisor and everybody in between.
Communication from Sonya was on point we knew exactly what was going on at all times.
The quality of the workmanship is above and beyond our expectations, build time was on track through out the entire build there were no delays it was scheduled like well oiled machine.

I'll preface this by noting that I built with Blueprint in 2007. The sales process with Blueprint was fine, the salesperson was more than accommodating in making changes to the plans and suggested modifications which worked out well. The process in the lead up to construction was also good.

During construction, a wall collapsed but this was quickly fixed. After construction, the first rain overflowed in to the garage and I had water streaming down the walls. Blueprint put in an extra downpipe (although never came back to paint it, and I gave up after many calls). I've got major cracking (floor to ceiling) which Blueprint has viewed, and said is completely within specification, and would not be rectified though when they inspected it, it was within the warranty period. I accept minor cracking occurs and have no issues here, but these cracks aren't just a minor patch job, they require significant work to rectify. You can see the cracking in these images -

I would not use Blueprint again, based on the post construction service offered.

Update: I used the option to let Blueprint homes view the review before it was published. I received a phone call from Blueprint the same day who advised they would look into my concerns and contact me. A week later I have not heard back from Blueprint. I'm also completing renovations and have now noticed the fan in the kitchen was not flumed as stated on the plans and it feeds straight in to the roof space.

We have been dealing with Blueprint now for 3 years. To be fair, the first two years we were waiting on titles for our block (since changed blocks). But we signed a new contract in March this year, and only just have had the slab laid - after we had threatened to cancel the contract if we had no movement by Christmas.
We have had nothing but delays - from our unsigned contract sitting on someones desk for 3 months, to plans not being changed correctly. The prestart process was very interesting - due to us changing blocks they apparently archived (Bulls*&T) our original file, even though we were building the exact same house on the new block. When we queried original adjustments, we were told they couldn't access them from archives. All we wanted was verification on a $22,000 charge for amendments. We ended up contacting our original consultant who provided it to us (he no longer works for Blueprint).
I will admit, since we have gone into the construction phase, it seems to be a little smoother, and our consultant we have now appears to be communicating with us better than the prestart consultant. Hopefully now we have a slab, bricks, window & door frames, we will see our new house appear.
We have engaged the services of an independent building inspector to ensure that the build goes smoothly and at the high standard you expect from spending this kind of money.

This was my third built, first with Blueprint Homes. I can honestly say, they were fabulous from start to end. They made the process easy, stress-free and fun. I am a stickler for customer service, and I demand really high customer service, as I think this is the easiest thing in the world to get right, and companies get it wrong all the time. With every single customer touchpoint, Blueprint Homes were fantastic. They offered a truly personalised experience, which was enjoyable from the start. The quality of the build was great, and we're so happy with the finishes, both standard and upgrades. I would highly recommend Blueprint Homes, above all others I have dealt with.
