CRIMINAL OFFENCE

I bought a VW GOLF in August 2018 by this bunch of thieves online, by its CARSUPERMARKET website. I've signed the purchase for a car with 25965 miles.
I wanted to buy a car with around 25000 a mileage, I trusted their words and I ordered the VW Golf online without seeing it before the purchase as they stated that the car was in mint condition.
When I did my MOT in August 2019 I realised, checking the previous MOT done by CARSUPERMARKET, There was a discrepancy of 4000 miles (29629 miles instead of 25965),
After the MOT the engineer pointed out as - an advisory note - for the front and rear shock absorbers having limited damping effect/light misting of oil. This is quite weird since I have used the car very carefully and I only drive along the M1andt the alloy wheel, on the left front tire was slightly damaged. (Keep in mind that I rose from the beginning this issue, about the alloy wheel, but they didn't solve the issue). I now think that the car had been driven improperly before they sold it to me. Obviously, I asked for a full check and the 4 shock absorbers replacement (at a VW official dealer) that at this point (with the expenses at their charge).
Without any answer and with an unacceptable behaviour ( done by a poor manager named John Brocklehurst), I'll sue the company in court and I reported the Police and the DVLA authority the matter.

Bought my current car over the phone after looking at a couple of cars online first. Mark Harraway was my advisor who dealt with the process from the start until point of delivery.

Mark had all the time and patience in the world as I changed my mind on a few things and cars during the process.

Nothing was too much trouble, felt very assured and comfortable that Mark was taking care of everything for me.

Fantastic service and couldn't have had a better customer experience!!

Love my car by the way!!

I purchased a Ford fiesta titanium x to be delivered to my home within 7 to 10 days. The car was delivered to me after three weeks,I was told it would be delivered between 9am & 5pm so I took the day off work,it turned up at 6/15pm.I did a quick inspection of the car in the pouring rain and found an area of white which I thought must be wax at the rear of the car so informed the delivery driver and salesperson. The delivery driver because he came so late was stuck at mine without transport so I offered him a lift to the nearest train station. When I started the car a warning light came on stating low brake fluid level,I checked the level and there was no brake fluid in the reservoir.I rang the next day to inform carsupermarket of the situation and what I should do.I was told to take it to my nearest Halfords which unfortunately is some 16 miles away and if I had a leaking break system I definatley wasn't doing,so I went to my local car accessory shop and topped it up myself.I washed the car the same day and came to wash what I thought was wax off which I did and underneath was a large area of scratches to the paintwork,on looking round the car I found several other scratches and looked in the boot at the spare wheel. The spare was a 14" wheel when I have 16" wheels on my car so totally illegal to use.I informed money supermarket of the issues with the car and some 3 weeks later I'm still waiting to hear back from them. Not very good after sales service,if I hadn't got in touch with them nobody would of been in touch to see how the purchase had gone.First and last time dealing with carsupermarket.com

For all you people who want to buy from this company, its now been some 3 months since the purchase and still paint is damaged and no spare wheel despite numerous calls and promises it would get sorted

My experience at CarSupermarketcom Newcastle was largely positive thanks to Steve Forman, who was great to deal with. He made contact with me on multiple occasions and was very helpful. He mentioned that he would've preferred a more standardised handover, but obviously that wasn't possible because of social distancing. Overall, he was great. My only disappointments are that the car itself could've been cleaner, and slightly more explanation could've been given to someone who hadn't known the vehicle as well as I do thanks to research I'd done, as I was very much given the keys and was left to it. I'm happy to give the benefit this time due to the circumstances of social distancing, however, do feel like more could've been done in this sense. That said, I do maintain that Steve was great overall to deal with.

I bought my Nissan X Trail from car supermarket the middle of April. It was delivered on the day I specified, all was good. Then I was told it had no SD card so the sat nav was useless. I then discovered it had an oil leak and no aerial , six phone calls later I was told I would be sent a SD card and for me to take the car to a Nissan dealership and the leak would be fixed under Nissan warranty. A month later and several more phone calls I was sent the SD card and the cars manual, it’s now the middle of June and I’m still waiting for the aerial. Not great for a car that cost me nearly £17000

Bought a 19 model year VW Golf R from the Barnsley showroom in December 2019. Paid for the Williams ceramic coating as an extra to look after the Lapiz blue paintwork. Test drove the car and examined it thoroughly. Agreed on some “traffic marks” which needed to be removed, a scraped alloy wheel, a paint chip and a dent. I was promised this would all be rectified by my sales person (Edward). I paid for the car and when I went to collect Edward was not present. Most jobs were done, but the paint chip had not been. A poor repair was done hurriedly so I could leave with the car - which was disappointing. It was a wet rainy day, so the first time I noticed a much bigger issue was when I washed and dried the car. The “traffic marks” which should have been buffed out before the Williams ceramic coating was applied were not all removed. All over the car there are highly visible marks which have been sealed in by the ceramic coating. The only way to remove these (so the car looks as it should) is to have a paint correction and re application of a ceramic coating which will cost in the region of £600. Bear in mind that this price is on top of the money already paid for Car Supermarket to apply (very badly) the Williams ceramic coating. Whilst the buying process was good (Edward and Rebekah/accounts) were very professional, the preparation of the car was terrible. Given Car Supermarket see themselves as primarily an internet car seller, this is a massive issue. From my experience you cannot trust them to prepare a car to a satisfactory level - which will cost money to rectify. Buyer beware.
