Content Living

I have just finished building my first home through Content and overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would recommend them.
The people:
- Their former Sales rep Ryan Taylor was absolutely brilliant, cannot recommend him enough and he is without a doubt the reason why I decided to continue with the building process.
- The prestart team were also really polite and knowledgeable.
- The site supervisor was nice, however lacked attention to detail come defect inspection time (there were some obvious defects that he just either ignored or didn't notice).
- The Client Liaison Officer Shelby was also very friendly, easy to talk to and quick to respond to my queries.

Cost: Content Living were able to beat a competitors quote that I came to them with and chuck in a few additional items.

Quality: Slightly disappointing.
The quality of finish on the joinery items was poor (ie. wardrobes and pantry - excluding kitchen cabinets) (some had to be redone, others had to be made good come defect time).
The tiling was good.
Flooring was of average quality (some carpet is lifting already - wasn't nailed down properly).
Plastering was average (had to pay my painter additional money to fix it).
Doors/Hardware: Poor. One door currently doesn't close properly due to the hardware not being fitted correctly, and all handles on internal doors are wobbly and fill like they are about to break.
Cleanliness at handover: Average. Could have mopped and wiped down services better. There were some screws and discarded rubbish left on the floor and on shelves.

To summarise, the quality of the build left a little to be desired but the customer experience delivered by Ryan, Shelby and Olivia was EXCEPTIONAL - as I see it, no builder will be perfect on site, but it is how the staff deal with the issues that separates the good ones from the bad ones.

If anyone is anxious about building for the first time, or they have a tight budget, or they are struggling with designs - go speak to the team at Content. They'll put your concerns at ease and make the process extremely enjoyable.

I am so happy with the result, I am going to ring Ryan up and show him around the house, because I couldn't have done it without him.

I built with Content Living a few years ago now. I've not been a person to use review websites in the past, but have decided to share my experiences with those that do. I wanted to build a home that had been a dream for me, for sometime. I can't believe how well it turned out! To see it all come together with the interaction of the staff and supervisor, being another highlight of the process, my dream finally came true. The area manager was on hand to assist if required and he went above and beyond to satisfy me. Dealing with him was the highlight of my building experience. Nothing was ever too much of a hassle. When the home was ready for me to view at completion, there were almost no issues I could find. When it came time for me to contact them again after living in the home for a few months, due to some minor issues, they arranged these to be rectified without any fuss and the contractor was accommodating with my available timeframes. I would highly recommend Content Living to anyone who wants to make their dream come true also.

This was my forth house that I've built in WA but my first with content living.
The reason I built with content living was down to price.
I had a lot of extras that I wanted and certain fixtures and fittings.
Most builders could help me but content living got every detail perfect and still beat everyone on price.
As I've built before I knew the main reason for a good home builder was trades and supervisors and everyone I met from beginning to end made building a home an absolute breeze.
My supervisor Matt was fantastic, his communication throughout the build was spot on, also Rocky was another asset to content living as my main worries were having good tradesmen and they definitely delivered the goods. They produced nothing short of a show home for me.

Construction commenced in June 2018 and then we went to Europe. But construction continued and we got regular updates. We moved into our residence before Xmas!!!!

The Quality is good and what minor issues we found have been taken care of almost immediately.

No wonder we again signed up to build another investment home with Content Living.

From our sales consultant to 2nd PCI we were dealt with in a kind professional manner. We had a point of contact at every stage of the build.
Our prestart was well organised and enjoyable.
We found the quality of the work above average, with a surprisingly high quality specification. Each process was well managed and so the build progressed quickly.
We did have one or issues toward the end of the build, these were handled promptly and we were very satisfied by the outcome.
Our final costs were on point even better than we had anticipated. This is our 3rd Content home, and we go back for a reason.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Content to anyone.

I have recently built my first home with Content Living and I was extremely happy with the build process from start to finish. The house was completed in the timeframe that was promised and the house is of very high quality, and the number of inclusions which were part of the standard range was excellent. I felt compelled to pass on my gratitude to Content Living for their exceptional workmanship and management of the building of our home in 2010. We have recently had our floorboards re-polished and the house re-painted and it looks as good as new!

We all live busy lives but to really enjoy living in the house that you went to a lot of effort to have built is truly wonderful.

After deciding on the house plan we requested some changes to the living area, notably opening up the lounge for a more open plan space and the sales person at the time was extremely accommodating and quick to get back to us with the cost adjustments as well. These were also very reasonable and made the decision to proceed with the build much easier.

Liaising with the building manager and the administration staff was always easy and comfortable and we never felt anything was too much trouble.

After handover we had a couple of issues with the cornices in two of our bedrooms and Andrew the building manager, was very quick to have the problem rectified.

We remain thoroughly happy with our house built by Content Living and could not recommend them highly enough to any of our family or friends. The attention to detail and dedication to quality is second to none.

Content Livings display home was the first one my partner and I visited when we first started looking at building our first home. We loved it from the moment we stepped in. We did our due diligence and visited around 30 other display homes over the following few weeks, comparing prices, quality and additions. Eventually we gravitated back to the Content display home where we excitedly started our building process.

Our site supervisor was very helpful and got us access to view our home when required throughout construction. We were able to address any questions to our client liaison via email and received prompt responses. The house exceeded our expectations and now 2 years on we are still in love with our home. We feel for the price we have an exceptional modern house that still gets complimented to this day.

By far the best feature of Content Living is their after sales support. Any minor issues we have had with the property after construction have been dealt with promptly and to a high standard. There is no resistance from Content and it has been a pleasure to deal with.

I build my house from content living and moved in 2012. Since then any maintenance problem just email them always get very quick response and send a maintenance team, even it is over 7 years still I got the same. Personally I’m really happy with their post maintenance customer service.
