Was waiting for a delivery from Lithuania of special bearings to complete a machine we had developed for a pharmaceutical manufacturer. Our company went into lock down with staff on immediate return to work notice. 2 directors who lived local checked for mail and deliveries every day. We had a card from DHL and another from Parcel Force saying we had missed them and I managed to rearrange delivery to a neighbouring company who was remaining open as an essential business. Nothing was left by DPD. The first we knew was when the Lithuanian company sent us an urgent email yesterday asking us to ring DPD on a Birmingham number to rearrange delivery. I called the number and was told in a "tough tithes" kind of way that our parcels had been returned to sender in Lithuania. Not so much as a hint of an apology. We don't know what the machine we are building is to be used for as we have been drip fed information on a need to know basis but you can bet it's to do with the Pandemic. So well done DPD you've just delayed another research project. I have asked the Lithuanians to resend it to my home address with a more reputable carrier this time at our expense again. I swear I will never use DPD again and urge you if you have vital components not to use them.

I send a small parcell with medicine to Romania, on website price was£38 to be delivered between 3-5 Days. The parcell arrived after 12 days, but have yo call, chat ecc, because the DPD app is absolutly rubbish. Do not use this company to send parcells aboard, better use turttle and you spend less money.

Parcel was booked for collection 21st May, waited in, it was not collected. re-booked it for collection the next day, waited in, it was not collected. no one is answering the phones or emails.tried customer service, just said we can collect on the 26th, but nothing else, no response,no help or booking confirmation? no offer of a refund, as I have paid for next day delivery. Is it going to ever be collected? absolutely shocking customer service. I was a regular customer but will never use this company again. I risk bad feedback for my company and have now had to offer a full refund to my customer! just what a small business needs in these trying times. still no help from DPD, I still have my parcel! my customer is still waiting! cant get through to anyone. its now the 25th! still no help from DPD, I still have my parcel! my customer is still waiting! cant get through to anyone. its now the 26th!

I am just looking at these reviews in here and as a customer of DPD I am alarmed by how many irresponsible and idiotic customers are writing Reviews in here Firstly in light of the government announcement DPD are NOT deemed as key workers and they simply need to start putting both the NHS AND THEIR WORKFORCE FIRST This company delivers for ASOS M&S (not food) PRETTY LITTLE THING AND M&M SPORTS ETC. THEY ARE NOT TESCO OR ASDA delivering ESSENTIAL items This company is clearly thinking about profit before anything else Then to all the imbeciles writing reviews about the driver leaving the parcel somewhere safe are you actually being serious Do you expect them to put their own life in danger by knocking on your door to deliver an outfit for the weekend or whatever other non essential item your buying. Seriously think about what your saying!!!! I waited in for 2 days in a row and on their tracking system they say that no one was in. This is absolute rubbish and is not the first time I have experienced this rubbish service. I would never use DPD again for sure. I now have to go to their depot and hopefully I will be able to collect my parcel as they have mislaid items in the past and I had to go back 3 times until they eventually let me into their warehouse to indentify my parcels. During the lockdown I have been buying through Amazon and they use a number of different delivery companies and everything gets to me first time. It is unbelievable that they still get business

I give 1 star because it's the minimum allowed. The last 2 months it has been a pure nightmare every time a parcel has to be delivered by dpd. I'm in Leitrim, Ireland and the courier simply keeps you hostage for days and eventually decided to write that he didn't find me home (even though) I have be n home waiting for him for the last 2 days following for email, and now I have to drive to pick up point...50 on to get my parcel? Last month same story, both me and my husband waited for days for parcels, every day a new e-mail with times scheduled and the same courier just couldn't bother... Never ever ever using for again.I sent back the parcel and asked for refund to Amazon writing the reasons... Terrible terrible experience.

Avoid DPD at all costs, this is the second time they were unable to deliver on the correct time or day with little or no communication. What is the point of informing you of a time and date if they cannot deliver the package. Well there won't be a third chance and there are plenty of other companies who will be glad to take the customers off DPD. Avoid this awful company.

Completely rubbish, i told them twice trough their app to deliver my parcel to a neighbor, they left It out of my Door and It has been stolen, the service was already taking more days than they said, nine instead of five, then the great end, more than 40pounds, my stuff Lost, and they are still saying that It Is ok like this, be aware, the only Word that i can use here Is rubbish!

This is not the 1st time I've been disappointed with DPD.....Last time I had a delivery I had to chase up the delivery as the live tracking said my parcel had been attempted delivery after me spending all day indoors waiting for it. This time I had no update on delivery via email or text so I wasn't expecting my parcel to arrive and long and behold not only was it delivered but it was left in my communal hallway in plain sight of anyone passing by and to top it all off i was away. Thankfully my father keeps an eye on my post and he found the parcel at the front door and took it in. What the hell is a matter with people!!!!!!!!!!!

7 deliveries throughout 1 year. 3 of them never rang the buzzer. 1 of them continued shifting the delivery slot until it was 4 hours past. Another 1 where it was being delivered 1 day early when I was not going to be in. When I used the online service I was advised I could get it delivered to a pick-up store that same day. Instead I had to wait 24hrs before I could collect it. 2 of them had issues finding the door apparently. Interesting considering Royal Mail, Deliveroo, and loads of other services never had this issue. DPD are completely and utterly useless. Don't use them unless you are ready for your delivery to be delayed cause of reasons out of your control.

Was supposed to have next day delivery and got told that the driver had missed me despite him not showing up and not receiving a phone call off of him to ask for directions. Was then told he would come the next day and never showed up. Disgusting service.
