TO AVOID, NEVER, NEVER AGAIN Scammers, liars, thieves. I booked a ford fiesta 5 doors with economybookings, I received an email confirming a fiat 500 (3 doors). I call customer service after sending the screenchots of my reservation. And there, the drama, THE SCAM The 1st advisor told me that someone else took the car and that it is no longer available either I take the fiat 500 or I pay more and I take a ford focus (it was not possible to take the fiat 500). I had 5 advisers in all. I am told the same thing, either I cancel and I pay the costs or I upgrade and I pay more. and even if it's their fault it's their policy. After 10 minutes of debate, the guy canceled my reservation without my consent. and hangs up on me. after that my phone number was filtered. the worst customer service ever. Never seen .

One star is already one too many!!! I booked a car on 1 March and cancelled the same day. I immediately received a confirmation email promising a full refund within 5-21 days. It is now 125 days and more than 12 emails later. Economy are now claiming no-repayment due to Covid-19. My claim and their agreement was before the WHO declared a pandemic on 11 March and unrelated. Shameful. I shall not give up however. I am instigating legal proceedings and intend to publish concerns on as many sites as possible. intend to pursue them by all means possible... I suggest all the hundreds of others who have had similar bad treatment do the same.

Had to rent a car several times due to my car being totaled by someone. The staff was always very friendly each time (I think I dealt with at least 5 different people over my different rentals), accommodating and always making sure everything about my entire experience was top notch. It was a nice change, considering the stress one deals with during auto claims. Thanks EconomyBookings!

I want to share good experience here! I got new car - Toyota Yaris. Also, staff there offered me full insurance, directly from them, as well they helped me to cancel broker insurance - that's huge point for service! I will definitely rent from them again, only directly. Tip for others - just call them to make a reservation or e-mail - it's much faster and flexible

Definitely made up where the South Bend location lacked. Got us what we needed when the other lot in SB failed to fulfill our reservation. Also staff here was nice and very helpful with our situation.

Easy to deal with,good overall value for money.The drop off and pick up at Auckland airport could not be easier,the car that we hired was clean and economical,although the bodywork was showing signs of use,we added a sat nav to our package,which made the hire term more pleasurable as we did a fair amount of travelling during our stay.Beware the roads in New Zealand,we picked up a cracked windscreen because of the amount of road seal repairs happening during our stay

Its entirely obvious most these reviews were bought. Go ahead and try and call the contact number they list and you can tell right away this place is sketch. 2 of the 3 menus you can choose simply end the call. If you select the other it will ring for 15 minutes and then auto hang up. and oh, the fine print. Even if you cancel immediately they charge you a cancellation fee of 75 Euros. Seriously you are rolling dice with this site. Flipping a coin and hoping it works out.

during the rental period, my tire was punctured and I get a replaced one on the same day, this is good. However, when I made the phone call to seek help, it was transferred for several times, for so long, then disappeared! I had to make many calls myself to arrange the car exchange. I suggest the car rental company can arrange the rescue details for customers more thoughtfully.

I would give 5 stars if the following were made even more clear to the customer before finalising the contract:
1. True distance from airport terminal (ie time to reach the location where the car is located)
2. Actual insurance coverage which can be purchased as an option (for one rental, it was a case of just lowering the excess by quite a small margin, not really worth it)
3. Making it explicit (for rentals where one does NOT filter on “unlimited mileage “) what the daily km allowed is, and how much extra one will typically pay per km above that threshold.

We rented a car from this company from Newcastle airport over Christmas. The car was available when we arrived, no queues, and the ‘check in’ process was very quick. The car was spotlessly clean, and quite new. We had no problems at all. The return process was also smooth. Cost-wise, it was very competitive. We were happy with the experience and would use this hire company again.
