I was excited to join in July and the quote I was given, based on a years useage, was excellent. However, 4 months in and the monthly payments have risen so much (an additional £240 per year), with no explanation. I live on my own in a 1 bed bungalow and have not suddenly started using more gas. Feel very cheated. I was clearly given a cheap price to get me to switch and now cannot afford my payments. Am in the process of leaving them.

I have had issues with Good from the day I moved to them a couple of years ago and these are still ongoing. First, they didn't carry out the switch properly. I had to take the to the energy ombudsman, who found in my favour, to get that resolved. I now haven't been billed correctly since April 2016 (it is currently the end of December) and I am about to take them to the ombudsman AGAIN. They're trying but it just isn't good enough. They just like any of the big 6 when it comes to service now. Juliet Davenport (CEO) needs to be less interested in saving the world and taking the moral high ground with the rest of the industry and be more interested in her customers who are paying for all the time she gets to spend playing with windmills.

I have been with Good Energy for electricity for several years and liked the tone of correspondence. I therefore switched to you for my gas supply. You don't seem to have noticed as you are still inviting me to do this, and I wonder if there should be some advantage in the price. I would also like to pay for gas by direct debit, but I had no answer to my letter requesting this.

I like Duel Energy for its work and for renewable energy. However as a low energy user I am disappointed to hear that because I am a low user my bill will increase even though you are lowering your prices for gas and electricity - because you are raising your standing charges to the point where any benefit to myself is annulled. :(

I switched to Good Energy after seeing repeatedly on the news that the Big 6 were trouble - I liked the idea of a smaller energy supplier, and I haven't been disappointed. Customer service is excellent and I'm very happy to be doing my bit for the environment.

I sent an email on 29 Feb asking if it would be cheaper to move back to a standard meter from economy 7 as I no longer have storage heaters. Still no reply. Also when I phoned recently the person I spoke to couldn't help me, and then told me if I wanted to change it would cost me £168 he thinks but not sure. I still have no idea if it would be cheaper to change.

Trying to change my bank account details for FIT payments, I don't think any one is in the office. No answers to my E mails, phone calls are a waste of time

I moved to Good Energy on the recommendation of my PV panel installer. I had been very unhappy with the service from the Big 6 supplier and moved to Good Energy and have been surprised and delighted by the service. Prices are middling I believe but the quality of service and customer care is second to none. I would suggest to anyone who is dissatisfied with their current supplier gives Good Energy a try.

i You expect customers to remember to submit their monthly readings. ( most other companies send reminders. ii Why you cannot combine both gas and electricity into one document seems rather baffling. iii You claim to have sent a monthly statement which has failed to arrive. On contacting you and getting a promise to send the last one for May, has again failed to arrive. On the benefit side, I have found your telephone staff to be most helpful, but your admin. leaves much to be desired.

I changed my electricity supply to Good Energy twelve years ago because I wanted environmentally sound energy from an ethically sound supplier. I am glad I did that, and I later changed my gas supply to Good Energy as well. I have had an absolutely satisfactory experience with Good Energy, and its prices have always been competitive even though it works to higher standards than its mainstream rivals. Joss Levy London

DON'T TRUST THEM Awful ...my bill went up over amassive £1.200 pounds . Paid rediculous amounts, complaind and miracle occurred..it became exactly 0,000, how can it be precisely zero . Just left and the only owe me around £60 which I find very hard to believe they only owe me that ..bearing In mind it's been summer Have had final bill , and guess what I now owe them . They just make it up! From nearly £300 in credit , to owing them over £100 in a few weeks , unbelievable. Please note the non existent address below! So helpful .thanks for nothing lizzie Already contacted customer services. I have put f.a.o. the manager. And I want my bill on hold . As I feel that from the date of my zero bill , just over a week ago . Having made a huge payment .. in that time they are saying I owe £112.07 after having a mostly empty house, and no heating on ! There are only 2 adults in my house . It's not full of children running up huge Bill's with cooking washing showers etc. I truly feel ripped off . Was expecting a refund as made payment since bill was zero . And it's under 2 weeks since Funny never get much response to email. Better to sort it on here really . I'm with Scottish power now and feel secure. Unbelievable..they went from zero ..to owing me just over £60 ..in a few days . Then just took two payments £60,59 and £54.46 Just taken from my bank , my payments should go out on the 9th as requested . They took on the 1st and 2 nd Therefore making me overdrawn I don't trust the bill at all . As within a matter of days it changed dramatically . CANCEL DIRECT DEBIT ON LEAVING. ADVICE PEOPLE TO LEAVE for a reliable cheaper deal. Had nothing but GUESS work and feel they stole from my account . Was shocked when I saw they had taken money out. Bearing in mind one payment was a gas bill ..GAS HAD BEEN OFF AS WAS WARM WEATHER . DISGUSTED WITH GOOD ENERGY Gas charges ... my only gas is heating , and it hasn't been on until the 1st October Yet they have charged me for gas all summer ! Got my payments back that they STOLE ! NEW bill for electric is £19.60 Gas is even less .. Seems as though any payment to them on leaving will do! They owed me money ..now seem hell bent on just getting some money off me . So it appears the payment they helped themselves to was WRONG ! You couldn't make this up . Disgusting ! Apparently my gas charges ...as didn't have heating on ..are from my gas oven..only its electric ????

I like Good Energy because it's different to the other companies out there. I like that it sources all its electricity from renewable sources, and particularly like the way it supports small independent electricity generators around the country and buys power from them. As a customer, I've not had any issues, but I've noted on social media a few occasions when they've got things wrong. What I like about them is the way they will hold their hands up and admit this - and try to do something about it. I guess they can't please everyone all the time, but so far they've done a pretty good job for me.

I provided Good Energy with a meter reading for my gas 6 weeks ago and I still have not received a bill. I have just been on the phone with them and they are insisting on getting an accurate reading for the gas and electricity, as they are now combining the 2. I dare think how much my next bill is going to be considering the last time I had a gas bill was 6 months ago and we are still in the middle of winter. To top it up they have increased their rates on the 1st of March. I am truly ANGRY on the way they are treating me as a customer so I am now looking at moving providers asap.

Since swapping to Good Energy, we have begun to help our environment by using 100%renewable energy whilst save ourselves money on our previous energy costs with edf - it's about £8 per month, but that's a good £96 per year so we're more than happy! ???? ???????? the handover was quick and easy, our energy supply had been uninterrupted and all billing is online and by direct debit. Everyone wins with Good Energy!

I've been with Good Energy almost since its beginning and chose them primarily because they always supply 100% renewable energy, even though, initially, it cost me a little bit more than standard tariffs. I felt very strongly that it was a small cost to pay to know it was helping me to minimise my impact on the planet. However, over the years, I found many more reasons to stay with Good Energy. Their prices have become increasingly competitive; they voluntarily supported pioneer installations of solar thermal systems like mine with their HotRocs scheme, long before the government got round to the Renewable Heat Incentive; they are a company you can rely on to tell the truth; they take an ethical stance on all their activities; they answer the phone promptly with a real person and they keep me informed! What more could I want? One thing only: that all energy companies acted in the same way!

So far I'm happy although I was over charged for my first month's direct debit...also wondering whether I will be better off as my original quote led me to believe?? Happy to be with a company who is dedicated to renewal able and not one of the big 6!!
