Chris Elvin was knowledgeable and amiable and without doubt made this in 40 odd years of buying cars, the most comfortable experience ever, even tuning our radio to our favourite station which, in truth, even we forgot about

Salesman was really helpful (Lee) didnt feel under pressure to buy
the only negative side was felt trade in price was a bit stingy especially as the car had such mileage and had been maintained from purchase by Hammonds

I had missed the weekend launch of the new Focus but I was given an appointment on the Monday morning when John Barker the sales manager explained all about the new model and what was available on it.
I found this very helpful to decide on model that I wanted.
I was kept updated when ever John had any information regarding the progress of the manufacture of my car.

Hammond group and especially Oliver Denby, were amazing in supporting me to choose the best Nissan car to meet my disability. They kept me fully informed throughout the whole process of obtaining my Motability car. I recommend them very highly indeed! Thank you!

Had brought a van and four days later had issues haven't gone out of there way to help if that was my business I would have picked up the vehicle and given a replacement until the other van was finished so want be buying anything other vehicles from Hammond.

We hadn't purchased a vehicle from Hammond's previously but wanted to try and buy locally if we could. The salesman was excellent - during the test drive he realised that we had done a significant amount of research so he didn't bother giving us the hard sell, he just gave us the facts and room to make up our own mind. Once we made the decision to purchase the process was very thorough. Even picking up the vehicle was thorough, down to explaining every aspect of the car before we drove it away. I would highly recommend them.

This is the 3rd car I've purchased from Hammond's and once again having asked for my registration number to be transferred......it was put on retention!
This delays getting the car and causes extra costs for insurance!
I was also disappointed that the windscreen washers did not work properly apart from having no water in! I thought the car would have been through the workshop but I'm not so sure.....this issue was resolved when I took the car back
