I have been registered deaf for the past 30 years. Then about 5 years ago as I was having trouble with the hearing aids I was supplied with, my G.P. referred me to Hearbase. Although I am under the N.H.S. and Hearbase do have private clients/patients, they have since then treated me no differently and through the care I have received mainly from my Audiologist Joana Carvalho, my capacity to hear has been transformed and my confidence in conversation has grown. The new hearing aids which I have been recently fitted with by her are the best yet.

So, this is why I would recommend Hearbase to anyone who has any level of hearing loss.

This was the first time I have used Hearbase and was extremely pleased with the overall service I received from my first telephone call booking an appointment and the subsequent treatment. A friendly and professional service and would not hesitate in recommending Hearbase in Folkestone or using them again in the future.

Following my husband insisting I was going deaf, I booked a test with Hearbase at KIMS and I just had the pleasure of the lovely Hannah telling me my hearing is 20/20. So having spent an easy half hour or so being gently coached through the painless hearing tests I am a very happy customer. Free parking at KIMS, very clean and comfortable consulting rooms, and all the staff I came into contact with being most courteous. Highly recommend taking your hearing test here.

Tanya (audiologist) and Tracy (on reception) at Hearbase in Bexleyheath are really welcoming; I feel very well cared for and I look forward to my visits! I have benefited from a very professional and personal service, tailored to my specific needs. It really improved my social and work life - I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been using Hearbase at The Chaucer Hospital in Canterbury for many years now. Sally French has been an enormous help to me. I was initially reluctant, like so many other people I have met, to wear my hearing aids and she was able give me the incentive to do this whilst encouraging me through the initial period of getting used to wearing them. She is extremely knowledgeable and supportive and has gone out of her way to ensure that my hearing needs are met and that everything is being done to provide me with the best hearing experience I can hope for. She has always been generous with her time at appointments and never tires of answering my endless queries. If you might benefit from hearing aids she is definitely the person to see!

My current hearing aids are the second pair that I have purchased from Hearind Aid. My recent purchase (2nd) improved my hearing but I experienced difficulties in certain areas when used in varied situations. My most recent visit to Hearind Base was very productive and after discussions and adjustments to-date have proved to be very successful. Also during my appointment, after difficult the AP was loaded onto my Mobile which has proved to be excellent aid to allowing me to adjust my hearing to my situation. The time spent with me was considerable and my thanks must go in to the effort and understanding of my problem that a successful conclusion was achieved. Many Thanks.

An excellent six monthly review as always, this time with Hannah. She adjusted the settings for my hearing aids to give me more clarity in my hearing and set up a new programme to help me in crowded environments. I can’t recommend the service they provide highly enough.

On 1st Nov my wife and I attended KIMS hospital for a complimentary hearing check.This was our second visit; we were at KMS last year having accepted a written invitation from Hearbase.
We were very impressed. The audiologist, Hannah Harris was extremely helpful. She offered a lot of useful information / advice and explained the procedure and the results clearly.
