I love this site! I've been a member for 3 years now and I'm extremely happy to have met all the wonderful members through good conversations in the threads. There's some beautiful warm spirits there that keep the place lively, and a few toxic ones too- but regardless, they're all still a family to me. I love HF!

I see the owner of this place just put up a wave of fake reviews. The main problem with this joint is the moderators. One would routinely abuse black people and call them "n1gg3r" (the actual spelling). He wasn't banned or even warned. A pedophile emerged grooming children. Those who reported it (about 50 people!) were all banned. They spy on private messages and chatter amongst them themselves. One of the mods is a "trailer trash" from a family of murderers. She supports on open Nazi supporter. Its also got "catfishes" and internet scammers. Not as passing thro. But members who have been there many years. I pity the normal characters who are there. Often there is mental and physical illness amongst longer term posters. Its rather a shame. Hard drugs eg opiates are sold, especially to the young and gullible. Its pretty much dying compared to 15 years ago or so.

Those Australians (not all)get triggered about everything. They are Always mad about something. Whether it be the weather, neighbors, other posters. Always an issue with something. Also tries to moderate and not even a moderator

If I could vote negative stars I would. To add to what Bill B wrote. This site epitomizes cyber bullying. It is a hard left leaning site that intends to make sure that is the only message that they project. They say Freedom of Speech is what they stand for, but that is extended to only one side. You will be embraced if you are of that type. If you are independent they will expect you to join their views. The admins support harassment of public officials. And if you suggest moderation in that thought, you get deleted. I don't know how to define terrorism, but I would be scared to live near any of them.

Key members of the forums bullied this poor guy until he killed himself, then to avoid any responsibility for facilitating this bullying they simply cleaned the site of everything he posted and pretended that it never happened. There is still a pedophile who is a key member. Beachbum86 and EloiseAtThePlaza had been stalking this guy in real life and then used the forum to bully him. The site should be shut down and it's owners out in prison! We are looking into a lawsuit after the funeral.

this was a great forum but gone rapidly downhill mostly thanks to zenkarma the admin now it's just pictures ripped from the internet and people talking about $#*!ing family members or sucking cocks. the pervert stuff was always there but there used to be interesting creative conversation along side it.

Some of the individual members are decent people but there is a lot of unchecked racism allowed to run rampant on the site. Truthfully its racist af. I wish I could recommend this place. I want to. But I cannot in good conscience do so.

Love this place. I have been banned before on this site but wanted to try and blend in properly with like minded individuals. I believe if you put the work in to prevent acting like a $#*!head on the forum you gain respect.

Another social media pit, full of an in-crowd who jumps newbies. A lot of what seem to be the usual pack of either Russian or USA white-right disruptors who pounce on anyone opposed to racism or Trump. The façade of "hippies" is not reflected in the pool of posters, who are nearly all too young to have been hippies, and engaged in all the usual social-media pathologies. The premise of this forum is fake, and it is being run by misfits. I in fact am notifying the appropriate Congressional offices who are investigating white-right and Russki presence on social media.

It's incomprehensible that people find enough time to write indecencies about a website that IS the last free speech forum on earth. I've been a consistent member since the late 90's when the forum was just getting started. Today, as a moderator of that forum, I can attest that NO paedophilia or "illegal" activity happens. In fact, while we DO allow conversation to occur without interference (unless that conversation breaks laws), we are judicious about removing content that is unsuitable for minors. Several reviews we've found on SJ are from "temporary" members who like to use our forum for link building. They are baseless, without merit and lack any formal evidence. We welcome ALL to our forum with love and light.

I've been on here for less than a year. In spite of running into a few $#*!s, I have met a lot of genuinely nice people from all across the globe. Some I have become very close with. They made me feel welcome from the beginning and brought me up to speed on how things work. The chat room is a little hit or miss, but that's ok. There are a few threads that I follow. We exchange thoughts, ideas, local customs and we share a lot of laughs. I think the mods do as good of a job as can be expected controling spam and trouble makers. I feel free to present my opinions without the fear of sensorship like you find on Facebook. Drama exists here, just like any social media site, but I think it's minimal. Hell, even my dog is famous on here! Hahaha! I ain't going anywhere any time soon.

Found this site while looking for some advice on a particular sexual topic. The cool thing about this place is that it's not about any *one* thing. It covers almost anything you can think of, withing limits. And while the general theme is one of relative "hippy-ness", there is actually a pretty good balance of all sorts of people, from all walks of life, from all over the world. Sure, there are a couple of jerks. But, by and large...most of the regulars are pretty cool, easy to talk to, and accepting of a variety of opinions...as it should be. I hope to be a member here for many years!

I found this forum years ago and thought it a bit of fun, especially when single. But it wasn't long until I realised that free speech didn't come free. You CANNOT delete a thread you've created. Once a thread exists, it exists forever. And, more worryingly, you CANNOT delete your account. Once they have you and your data, you're in for LIFE. Do NOT sign up. The whole forum is full of trolls who ultimately just make you feel terrible about yourself. But because it's "free speech" the trolls are not reprimanded and much of the forum is a cesspit of human diatribe. You're better off making an anon Twitter account, frankly.

I use to post a lot on Hip Forums. Still do a bit. I came back not to long ago to a crowd much different than before. I wasnt back for a week or so when I got banned. I didnt remember what Id said but I thought maybe this was a mistake. I managed to get the help of one the moderator to get me back in. Wasnt soon after that. Felt like I was being stalked. And when Id comment back to him he/she would report me as harassing. Ive never harassed anyone. It was this person harassing me. I guess because they gave some money to have feature there its ok. theys a troll. I use to enjoy Hipforms. Im not perfect, but I dont chase posters around the site stalking them. How they get away with it? ever was like that before. Id tell a moderator but I dont want banning me again.
