This is our 2nd year with HR Block and was another pleasant and professional service. Well organised. Will be back next year.
I would not hesitate to recommend HR Block as they will not be disappointed.

After eternal hold times, and transfers, I proved to H&R Block via emailed screen captures, vis a vis TurboTax, that their software was defective for even simple W-2 tax returns which use form 8962 for healthcare.

They asked for only my receipt and mailing address by email.
Then someone called, asking for my social security number.
Then, when I emailed again, asking where is my promised refund, they replied, asking for my date of birth, and credit card activity, showing the purchase.

Very suspicious, looking like a setup for identity theft, and they are obviously trying to wear me out with all their demands, rather than honestly admitting their flaw, and issuing me a refund. Outrageous.

We had a Saturday morning appointment, our agent was extremely friendly, understanding & efficient in her work. Barbra made getting our tax done an enjoyable event for my husband & myself. I would definitely recommend H&R Block to my friends and family.

I went back to HR Block to get my tax done in a different city this year as I had moved home. It was great to find they provide a similar reliable, pleasant and professional standard of service wherever I live.

My accountant of 5 years left branch without any notice to me.
Replacement accountant didn’t want to help or advise me with application for job keeper.
Left feeling distressed,worried and upset.
Now worried if I can access all my documents as he hung up on me.
No empathy shown to my situation as I have been left out of work.

Kerrie our accountant (Aspley Bris) has been excellent for us over many years in submitting often late multiple returns coupled with achieving maximum $ returns. This office has always been a pleasure to deal with.

This year Pauline at Hastings (Vic) got a positive outcome for me regarding last years return. I would've had to keep paying off a huge amount incorrectly done by a different branch last year regarding my superannuation. I saw 3 different tax people, 2 from H & R and 1 accountant as well as speaking to a few people in the tax dept and they all said the return was correct and to go on a payment plan set out over 4 years which was started. Took paperwork in again this year with the hope of a positive outcome and was told that I was owed money instead of the other way round which was a huge relief because this payment was a big debt and putting us into financial difficulties. Tax dept has refunded monies paid as well as what was owed to me. My wife and I rely on H & R, have done so for many years and will continue regardless of last years mistake and we'll stick to Hastings branch. Thank you so much Pauline for your assistance.

used the online self lodgment system, was asked some useless question by an anonymous person just to delay my return being lodged, in the end it was left as "reviewing" and left unlodged with the ATO for almost 2 weeks. was charged $59 and my tax return never got lodged and just to rub salt into the wound they charged my credit card twice. My questions never got answered and my refund went unlodged., I got my money refunded through my credit card company and went elsewhere. Totally wasted my time with H&R Block, useless company. AVOID

Possibly our 5th tax assessor at the same business in 11 years who was able to sift thoroughly through our paperwork and find more of our rebate entitlements which were unfortunately possibly overlooked.

I have been using H&R Block, Spring Street, Bondi Junction for some years now with Sayan, and that must carry its own commendation. Overall, it was a pleasant experience meeting Donna ---. I learned about new tax rules obtaining, but would have appreciated a little more time in the office. No suggestions were made as to how to save on personal income tax, a bit of a disappointment -- if indeed such can be achieved in my circumstance.
