we have previously stayed at Millbrook estate twice before (which is ran by the same people that offer this beautiful cottage) so we knew that when they say their accommodations are 5 star gold they really mean it, however rose cottages is just something very special indeed, walking in it really is home away from home with the attention to detail, cleanliness and personal touches. Then the added luxurys...... A private hot tub , copper bath for two, 3d TV and log burner to name a few, I could go on but you really need to be there to enjoy all its treats. it's just a little spot of heaven, basically if you're looking for complete relaxation in beautiful surroundings being looked after by people that can't do enough to make your stay truly personal... This is where you'll find it..... Rose cottage..... Millbrook estate take your pick.... It's a cut above the rest.

We spent 4 nights at Rose Cottage in January 2020 for our wedding anniversary. We loved the mix of original features and modern features. Bed was very comfy, loved the bath and great to chill out in winter in the hot tub with a glass of champagne. We visited places like Woolacombe and Clovelly nearby, winter walks on the beach, great scenery. Highly recommend!

We have been twice now to Rose Cottage, once in the summer and more recently for new year 2017. Both times very different but equally as lovely!
During our summer break we spent the days in the sun at nearby Saunton Sands. During our winter break we made the most of the log burner and enjoyed the hot tub. The cottage is spotlessly clean and has every luxury you could want. Bathrobes, fluffy towels and lovely toiletries are provided. There's a great tv with Netflix, iPads, honesty bar, amazing copper bath and beds so comfy you won't want to get out of them!
All in a fantastic place to visit either as a couple or with young children, you won't regret booking this!

Our third time of staying with Millbrook (including our Wedding) and our second time at Rose Cottage. This really is "a little piece of heaven in Devon!" The most gorgeous, luxurious, sumptuous weekend away you could hope for. We will be back (again)

We got married at Millbrooke estate in December and from the moment we enquired to the moment we left the staff and service were nothing short of faultless nothing was to much and they made our special day a magical experience that we will never forget I would highly recommend rose cottage aside from the wedding, the cottage is like something from a story book it is impeccably clean, There is the smell of freshly baked bread as you open the door that the staff have left in the bread maker ready for your arrival to the locally baked patisserie on the table they literally think of everything I highly recommend rose cottage and we will defiantly be back thank you to all the Millbrooke team you are all incredible.

We had a lovely stay at Rose Cottage in May 2018 with our 3 year old daughter and our newborn son (9 weeks old), the cottage itself is amazing and very homely. It was the extra finishing touches which made it extra special - homemade bread, marshmallows for the fire, cuddly toys for the children etc. It’s a great location being short drives to many places. The pub opposite is a big advantage, we ate their one evening and then enjoyed a bbq the following day with all the locals. We will definitely be back soon!

We had the most wonderful stay at Rose Cottage for our wedding week in December 2019. From the freshly baked bread and home made cake awaiting us on our arrival to the the hot tub and amazing copper bath; our stay at Rose felt so luxurious and special. We would love to visit again in the near future.
