Our Douro (Portugal) cruise was excellent in every respect and one of our best holidays ever. Every day was different, with possibly the day excursion to Salamanca being the highlight. The Viking Torgil is a relatively small ship (104 passengers?), and were were very fortunate that we got on with so many of our fellow travellers. Coincidentally, at least six of us were Welsh speakers and at least a further five were Welsh, which added to our enjoyment - having a conversation in Welsh in the middle of wild Portugal was quite something! The food was good and the crew also was good, with an honourable mention to the pianist (name forgotten, sorry!). We have already booked our next cruise - "Portraits of Southern France" for April, 2016.

As usual, a well organised cruise full of exciting places to visit, brilliant guides, delightful staff, excellent food and drink and a perfectly run 'hotel on the river'. Viking manage also to effect good value for the cost of the cruise - there is nothing to complain about! We have completed two river cruises, have another one booked for next year and there are still some left to enjoy.

Our Elegant Elbe cruise in April this year was everything we expected and more. This was our third cruise with Viking and we loved the fact that it was a small intimate ship. AS always the staff from Captain to cabin staff were first class and so helpful.Being able to to take lunch in the bar was a welcome "difference" to our previous trips, we loved the informal atmosphere and the chance to eat "lightly" and not overload our stomachs for the evening meal. In saying that it was excellent in the restaurant in the evenings too and we enjoyed the varied menus on offer. Well Done Viking, you never fail to please

Amsterdam to Frankfurt care of Viking- Their usual superb service made this voyage a memory not to forget. From the Redlight district to the Castles of the Rhine and the bridge at Remegan, all experiences not to miss especially with the expertise of Vikings tour guides. Next time we are on the new Viking Star in the Med and hopefully very soon the Emerald in Vhina

Our second cruise with Viking and enjoyed this one as much as the first. Only 13 Brits on board this time so met some super folk from the USA. Very well organised and with hard working and cheerful staff. Have already booked another for 2016.

Amazing holiday, we have no complaints at all, Jenna our guide dealt with everything, we went to places we would never have seen if it was not for this tour, no queueing, no waiting everything went to plan. The internal flights, no delays and luggage dealt with by tour guide, 5 star hotels, and the river cruise was first class, wonderful boat, along with amazing staff who knew your name from first day, the food and wine were good quality. We both enjoyed out holiday immensely

First rate holiday to China. Great ship, great hotels, great food, great itinerary, great weather and great tour guide. We saw China at its best. We could not fault any part of this holiday. Great organisation by Viking.

Consummate professionalism on the part of the crew and staff made the December 2015 Viking Alta Danube cruise a pleasure and an education. Opinions will differ as to the high points - Melk Abbey and the small town of Passau were mine. Ms Cornelia Svatek, our tour director was not only personable but extremely knowledgeable particularly on the culture and history of Bavaria and Austria - promote her to cruise director supremo, we say!
