I’ll probably order something from you guys again in January. Why January you ask? Because it will be a “Cold Day” before I order from you again. I ordered 2 detail sanding pens several weeks ago, one for my work and one for my home. The confirmation email stated 2 sanding pens were ordered. What arrived was 2 refills for the sanding pen. I thought “oh well” I may end up needing them so I kept them and went back online and again ordered 2 detail sanding pens. The confirmation email again said what I had ordered was 2 sanding pens. Imagine my surprise when the package arrived a few days later with 2 sets of sanding pen refills. At this point I called and spoke with one of your 3rd party customer service people. I explained my problem. I have now been charged twice for sanding pens and been shipped sanding pen refills and still don’t have a sanding pen to put the refills in. The very kind lady said she was going to make it right and ship me my 2 sanding pens. Today I received a another package from you guys and guess what it had in it…? A sanding pen; not my original order of 2 pens (one for the home and one for work) a single pen. Well at least I now have something to put the refills in. But the problem is I paid for 2 pens twice and only received 1 pen.

I would like to take the time out of our busy day just to write someone in this company and let them know that this is the absolute worst experience we have been through with ordering something from a company who sells products for our business line. We have two large company's in central Florida, A full collision shop and also a full Restoration shop. We have been in business for 43 years now and have yet to serve one of our customers the way we were miss led and serviced. Our pulling post broke in our body shop and we have a two big jobs on both frame machines, so we decided to order all new parts for our pulling post and schedule in two new jobs knowing we were told 3-4 days on shipping to get our "new equipment from auto body tool mart". needless to say here it is a week and a half later and 4-5 phone calls later our order was first lost and the the second order was promised in two days which never showed so we then called back on the day it was supposed to arrive and were told two of the items went on back order and we were promised that the remaining items would be shipped to us in two days. NOPE two days later with not one phone call from this company we called back again to find out that every item was on back order. As a good business owner I am, we have paid 36.95 for the last 6 days putting our customer in a rental because we "do not have the equipment we need to do the job" because we were completely miss led , not once , not twice but three times! We did not even get a " I Apologize from this company" !!! I can promise you that all the large body shop meetings and get together's that we go to , this situation WILL be brought up to all the body shop owners. Thanks for your time. I really hopes the reaches the right person so know one else has to go through this.

I thought the price for an MOT was too good to be true. I was right. Fixter inflated the price for highly questionable reasons, then refused to admit it. Prior to engaging fixter, I actually conducted a pre-check myself to be sure my car would pass. After handing my car over, Fixter came back and told me that there was absolutely no oil in my engine. Strange, as it was full just a few days prior - actually it was too full - I distinctly remember checking multiple times and the dipstick being above the "F" mark. £30 extra to "add" oil. They then told me that my indicator lights were the wrong colour. Strange, as my car had passed numerous prior MOT checks with those exact lights. Another £30 extra. When I attempted to confront Fixter about this. I got generic, 90% templated emails telling me I was mistaken and that they were "sorry you did not get the outcome you were looking for". I'm not a mechanic, but I know my own car and regularly maintain it. I guess Fixter made a punt that I was someone with no awareness of the condition of my own vehicle. I pointed out to them that engine oil is not a requirement of the MOT and they came back saying that my engine was at risk of grinding and seizing, so adding the engine oil was the only option to prevent damage to my car. Pretty suspect at best and blatantly dishonest if you look at the facts. In the end, my car passed (no surprise there), and they refunded me for the "incorrect" lights but not the motor oil. To be honest, I don't think the lights were ever changed and, judging from the colour and consistency afterwards, I'm pretty sure no additional motor oil was added. How does one add oil to an engine that is already full to the brim anyway? I normally don't do these reviews but have made an exception in this case because of the blatant dishonesty and the condescending emails I received that attempted to gloss over the fact that they charged me for things I didn't need, presumably to inflate the price and make profit. This would be a good service if they just did what they say they will... but I guess they need to make money somewhere. This is no excuse to resort to dishonest tactics. Shame on you Fixter.

Tried to overcharge me for work. Failed my car on nearside passenger mirror being smashed, although if you have a rearview and driver's mirror it is not a legal requirement. Quoted over £400 for work that I got parts for under £60 for and my uncle did the labour.

-10 rating. Fraud ! Part pictured online is a stock photo. Contacted shipping salvage yard, part was still on car! Salvage yard did not receive order from Car Parts Direct. No response from email nor phone. Had to revert to contacting my bank and back charge these ass-hats!

very happy bought the scanner to suit my hyundai santa fe 2009 diesel car. the hyundai service charged me 140 to scan the car to find why the check engine fault light was on . the hyundai scanners apparently couldn't get a code so the wanted me to agree to spend more to scan my car so the total to scan would be 300 dollars. and they still may not get a code and the car would still have to be fixed if they did get a code . i bought the AU scanner to suite car at 300 dollars. followed the set up instructions. plugged into my car and instantly got the code and description of what was wrong. P2015/407E. with explanation of intake manifold runner position sensor /switch circuit range/ performance bank 1a. .... i had made it very clear to hyundai service that the rats had chewed some wires and there still may be a bit of unfound damaged wires. and thats what it is. this scanner is going to save me a lot of money. thankyou

All 4 wheels required expert repair as scuffs and lacquer peeling on Diamond cut wheels on my Volvo V40. Look better than new after Damian's work. Well worth waiting for the expert job. Would highly recommend.

This is a company that new starters should aspire to be like. By far one of the most helpful brands out there and their products are second to none. 4 years ago I bought a BMW E46 330Ci M-sport coupe 6spd manual, with just over 100k on the clock. It ticked all the spec boxes I was looking for, however it had some throttle delays & driveability issues. I thought it would be fairly easy to rectify. I asked my local euro workshop to service it & look at its ecu mapping. To cut a long story short, I spent the next 4 years (off & on) chasing electrical & mechanical gremlins, due to 2 established euro specialists who failed to correctly diagnose the problem, at considerable expense to me. I hated driving it & traffic was torture, especially being a manual. Most people probably would have given up & sold it. I almost did many times. I then scoured the internet for ecu tuners in Melbourne & came across Exceltune. Despite being on the other side of town, I decided to drop in & see what they had to offer. I spoke with the owner Jacques, who then came for a test drive. Jacques immediately identified the issue I was experiencing & booked it in for a full checkup. When I picked it up, Jacques was confident he’d fixed it & came with me for a test drive. He knew what I’d been through & wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. Straight away I noticed that all the annoying delays, surges, vague feel & overrun were gone, but I told him I’d let him know after I’d driven it for a week or 2. He said the tune would actually get better the more I drove it, which initially, I found hard to believe. Well, it’s been 3 weeks & all I can say is, Jacques has turned dog $hit into strawberry jam. It now has loads of feel, linear power & even sounds great. It drives like the car I always knew it should be, but never thought would be. It even gets better the more I drive it. Thank you Jacques & team, full marks!

Took my Mini F56 JCW to Exeltune for an ECU Remapping, it was done within 3 hrs, then took it for a test drive. Wow I can feel the immediate gain of power and torque the second my foot was on the accelerator, engine responsiveness and throttle was awesome. Overall I was very impressed with result and it was a pleasure to deal with Jacques, I find that he’s direct and honest, extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely go back to Exceltune if my vehicle needs work done in the future. Highly recommend Jacques to anyone decide to get ECU Remapping.

I have used mechanic plus for over 12 years and my car has always run well. These guys are a genuine family business and have always given me honest advice and great service. I am not sure what the circumstances are in some of the negative posts but I have known Ian and his team for a long time and the comments made about their service and competence certainly do not align with my experience of Mechanic Plus. If you are looking for a mechanic who is genuine, honest and won't rip you off then Ian and his guys are the mechanics for you.

It’s a couple of years ago now but the owner of this business is still the same. I was a regular customer for car services, pink slips and not much else. I had a critical problem with my four wheel drive, I needed a part that cost several thousand dollars. He said he got me a bargain which still cost nearly as much and after at least a month of waiting he completed the job. Turns out he got the replacement part from the wreckers or worse still didn’t change it at all. I had an specialist company remove and inspect the part who confirmed the problem. The specialist then rebuilt the part which cost further substantial costs. The owner of Jannali Car Care Clinic was belligerent and hostile and never returned my calls after that. This business is poison, steer clear. I had spoken with ex employees of his who confirm he is not to be trusted. I was so stressed I just wanted to put it behind me and move on, however I did call Repco (he’s part of their group) but got no response to a phone complaint.

I had a very bad experience with a guy who introduced himself as the owner. I went to the Jannali Car Clinic recently, and was shocked - to say the least. He was very rude, unhelpful, and cursing me all the time. He had no right to be intimidating and forceful. It appears to me that the owner is happy to take your money and scream and intimidate you at the same time. I WILL NEVER EVER SERVICE MY CAR THERE AGAIN, NOT EVEN IF IT WAS FREE. I DON'T FEEL SAFE TO BE THERE.

Organised to have a fish finder, an anderson plug and 2x 12V sockets installed in my 4m tinnie. They wouldn't give me a set price but said it wouldn't be over $600. When I picked my boat up they said it would be $850! I asked why they didn't call to let me know it would be a lot more and the admin guys said "we wanted to do a good job and make it safe". That's what I expected for under $600! Be very careful with this company. They have good tradesmen but management are money hungry.

Had a new starter mother put in 7 months ago - in may. Played up in December- they said it wasn't the starter motor and charged me again for a earth lead. Played up again last week. Called company and they avoided calls until I messages saying that I'd contact fair trading. Man replied with offer to fix but was very intimidating. Decided I didn't want him anywhere near my place( on site repairers). Took to another auto electrician that said they had fitted a poor quality starter motor and it's components were unrepairable. Had to get another starter motor. All up allcoast ripped me off $800. New place fitted a fabulous quality starter for $500. Be warned

Just had my windows tinted (Jamie advised 20% film was closest to factory tint and was spot on) and stage 1 performance remap. Noticed a decent performance boost (41hp) and the mpg improved immediately 10-15%. Very reasonable pricing and high quality service. Very professional outfit. Highly recommend.

The first time I used them my item never arrived, when I connected them the item was advertised as in stock next day delivery, I was told it hadn't been sent because they where actually out of stock! Which nobody bothered to inform me about for days afterwards so car was sat waiting for parts that where not coming.... I have had to use them again recently as I can't find the car part elsewhere, it was supposed to arrive yesterday and the tracking code does not even work, hopeless, and I paid delivery! Not good when you want your car back road worthy in a hurry. Come on guys!

I've used Martin and the team for over 20 years - they consistently offer excellent service and advice... and very reasonably priced! No nasty hidden extras! If you're looking for a Basingstoke garage (specialising in Volvo and Nissan, but they'll work on any make) then I definitely recommend Martin Matthewson Ltd.

Had to exchange a pair of pistons that were the wrong size and Mark was super helpful! His customer service and knowledge was top notch. Brakecrafters had what i needed when I couldnt find the pistons anywhere else. The instructional videos on the site are well done and answer a lot of questions you might have. Highly recommend Brakecrafters!
