Worst Warranty Provider. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR TRAP Bitter Customer Experience. Motor Easy Learn to Value your Customers. To start with my complaint, it is not even about a warranty claim rejection. I would not go this far as that's something I would still consider. My car was absolutely fine. Motor Easy broke my car as part of the preliminary health check. Motor Easy did not handle my car with enough skill and Care and for NO Fault of mine I had to pay 2800£. All I did was to take my car for health check as instructed by Motor Easy, just for this I had to pay 2800£. Are these MotorEasy’s values and principles? Motor Easy sold me a warranty plan for my Car (Registration Number : AV63 HLN). For the warranty to start, motoreasy asked me to take my car to Halfords for a health check. Motor Easy arranged and paid for this health Check. 28 Apr 2022 - I took my car in the morning to Halfords and was asked to leave it for a health check. Halfords did the checks and confirmed the car was absolutely fine and passed the Health check. When I went in the evening to collect my car the car had a Dashboard warning for faulty Airbag and suspension issue on one side of the car. I asked the Halfords manager about the warning light and I was told that when they finished the health checks they couldn't get the car to start so they jump started the car and that caused the warning lights to come up. They said if I wait for sometime they will have this fixed. I waited for another hour however, they were not able to fix the issue. Halfords then told me that there is nothing to worry about and that the car is fine, it's just the warning lights which they will have a BMW expert come in and fix the issue. I waited for them to call, however, I did not receive any call back from them. In the meantime, I had raised complaints with motor easy as well. However, no solution provided I was asked to just visit other garages all of them said only BMW can have this fixed. By this time my MOT was also due and the MOT failed due to an airbag fault. NOTE : For the aforementioned facts mentioned by me, as evidence I have a call recording proving that the car had no issues when it went to Halfords and all while they were doing the Health checks. The fault occurred because of something their engineers did after the health checks were over and they were trying to get the car out. The Call recording is attached. 22 Jun 2022 Motor Easy told me that they will pay for the MOT failure and if I can take it to BMW and get a quote. BMW after a few days gave me a quote of Dashboard airbag fault and Suspension issue. BMW confirmed that the Airbag control unit was totally faulty and the car is not safe for Road use. They also confirmed that the Airbag control Unit failure was and can not be caused due to anything to do with Battery Faults (I have this as evidence on email from BMW). I was without car for more than 3 months at this point and i had shared the estimates with Motor Easy and I did not get any response from them and I wasn't able to keep BMW on hold for the repairs also a motor easy agent over call mentioned that I can take the car to BMW and have it repaired and claim the costs later. However, now I have been told that the airbag unit is not covered in warranty and for Suspension coil they did not approve the repair. Just a point to highlight here is that I have emails from Motor Easy where they told me that they are talking to Halfords to have the cost reclaimed, however, they later as final response came back that the airbag control unit is not covered in warranty. They have given me conflicting statements and I have emails for all this including the audio call recording to prove my case. Please I need a resolution to my case as I am a working class man to support my family and pay mortgages. Cost of 2800£ a month has totally made me financially unstable and that's just the cost to garage I had to dole out additional money as I was left without car.

I sent pictures for 3 different damages on my car assuming it would be treated as 3 separate claims (as they are quite far from each other), ony approved a repair for £150 that barely covers the biggest damage.

Customer service is terrible!!! They commit to a 24hr turn around, which is a complete lie. They have had my repair since 8/11/2020 (now it is 8/19) and every time I call no one can tell me what the status is, if it has been shipped, or even if the repair has been done. All I can get out of anyone there is that they have my seatbelt. I have received no communication from this company other than to confirm they received my repair. Today the guy that answered the phone hung up on me after telling me he couldn’t tell me anything about my repair (this is the 2nd time this has happened to me)?!? Every time I call I am given the run around and told to call back when one of their managers is there. Curiously, after 3 calls they never have a manager there nor has anyone called me back. Stay away from this company!!!! They are a complete fraud!

I've stared at the light on my dash for years not knowing whether my airbag would function in an accident. When my son started driving, I had to be certain it would. After taking my truck in for service. I was informed that I would need a new seatbelt and that the cost would be substantial. However, the supplier did not have one in stock. That's when I discovered Saftey Restore. They were responsive and prompt. After installing my restored seatbelt, I was able to reset the light on my dash and feel secure knowing that my son will be safe.

I bought a Porter Cable PC7424 from this merchant and had to return it due to lack of communication, on their part. After I placed my order, I received no email pertaining to any of the details of my order, no receipt, no tracking number, and no status info. This was compounded by the long time it took them to ship the product. Over a week. After receiving another product I bought from another online store, on the same day, I figured the transaction didn't go through (no emails remember and no withdraw from my bank account). After a day or so, I found another site that was actually cheaper and ordered the same item from them. Both items arrived on the same day. I was surprised to say the least. The return process was easy and fast, but even after admitting the made a mistake, they still charged me for shipping in both directions. Speaking of shipping, they charged double what it actually costs for the initial shipment; much like is common on eBay. Sell cheap; make it up in an inflated shipping charge.

After looking around on the internet for a new Porter Cable polisher, I came across Detail City, they had a great package offered for a great price, I placed my order and it arrived a few days later with no issues. The best thing about them is that they have a forum that offers a lot of wonderful information and which helped me take my detailing to a whole other level. I am really glad that I found them. He came out in the blazing heat and fixed my back breaks, then came back in the rain to fix my front breaks! He practiced social distancing. Please don’t take out car warranty with these guys I had to claim so phoned up explained the issue and they said ok we will book it in sorted until they decided my claim wasn’t valid What they didn’t tell me on my first call was that as my car hadn’t actually broken down or recovered I wasn’t covered by the warranty instead they took £72 for diagnostic and still book my car in My car started to make a noise 2 days before I reported it to Motoreasy and they said this wasn’t a sudden or unexpected fault The garage on the other hand were great and very understanding considering they only got £36 out of the £72 I was charge

PLEASE DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY....had the… PLEASE DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY....had the most expensive option possible from motor easy £49per month and then paying £60 pound for a wear and tear check thinking I was fully covered and car had been checked for any defaults. 12 months after paying £600 my engine had a sudden mechanical backdown of a turbos that caused high pressure to the bottom end of the engine and caused the bottom big bearing to fail. thinking from the terms and conditions of motor easy conditions this was a life saver...…. NO NO NO. was informed that wear and tear was not covered even though T and C's of motor easy state they do... plus paying £60 extra for a wear and tear check. they fobbed me of from car garage to car garage at my cost of recovery each time of £135 x2 and finally after 2 months of nothing because one of motor easy claim guys was on holiday and from being pasted around every department possible. I was told the claim was declined due to wear and tear or bad workmanship based on there INHOUSE mechanic's feelings. If wear and tear is stated to be covered by there T&C's when it is clearly not, that is a breach of consumers act 2015 of making any "terms and condition's to consumers act 2015 to be printed in plain English" there for I will be taking this to court under the 2015 act and hopfully get justification of being mislead. Please READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS THEY contradict thems selfs what they cover IF ANYTHING!!!!!!!

I spent over $650 on new rear brake pads and front rotors. After just three months, the squeaking was as bad as when they came to repair the brakes. When I brought it to their attention, the excuse I got was brake dust. It's now been 7 months, and the squeak is just as bad, and now my car shakes when slowing down to a stop. My car felt safer with the old crappy pads I had before they arrived and worked over my car. I would not recommend these hacks to anyone. They don't care to honor their warranty, and the parts and labor are a joke. I'd rather pay the extra $100 to make sure my brakes operate correctly and QUIETLY than pay these clowns and their excuses over a text. If you value the safety of your loved ones in your vehicle, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, BECAUSE THEY DON"T CARE AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I ordered some uni-grit sandpaper and a sanding block from these guys at around 4:30pm on the 19th. In about half an hour, my package had shipped and I had a tracking number. My stuff arrived the very next day from AZ! Needless to say, I am very impressed and will be ordering from them again.

Good: Received very nice GearWrench 1/4 and 3/8 complete socket sets with outstanding 120 and 84 point ratchets for half the cost (buy one get one). Bad: They had no order status or shipping tracking and it took 8 business days for my order to arrive so I was a little concerned if Overall: I recommend because the price was great and I eventually received my order as expected in good condition, but wouldn't recommend if you need asap. If they could fix order/shipping tracking I'd give 5 stars for the price even with delivery being a little slow it was well worth it for the significant savings on nice tools.

Epsom branch, booked an appointment through tyre savings for 11.30-12.30 Arrived at 11.30, manager (I presume) instantly confrontational when I said I had an appointment for 11.30, he said, I hadn't actually got an appointment and he does his customers first and will fit me in when he can. I said, I may as well go then and he said, hang on and went outside then said he could do my car now. They only had one other customer, so why start off like that? I wouldn't go back

Since 2008 I've ordered over $300 worth of supplies from Detailed Image, I honestly don't remember what their service was like in 2008, but in the last month my $250 or so worth of orders have been processed within a business day and arrived in approx 2-2.5 days total from the time of order (their warehouse is in NY and I live in CT) using their $5 shipping on orders over $50 and free shipping on orders over $150. Their prices are very competitive and they have a very good selection of products (I use Optimum, Meguiars, etc). These guys will be my primary supplier of detailing products for my mobile detailing business that I'm starting.

My Prius needed a front brake job and Zippity made it easier and significantly less costly than my dealer. They had a convenient key drop off and did the repairs while I was working. When it was done they let me know and I walked to the same parking spot I had left it. Also during their free multipoint check they found my wiper blades were worn and after contacting me proceeded to replace them. Their estimate was right on and more than 200$ less than my dealer. This is an experienced group of automotive specialists using the best communications software and clearly committed to customer service. I recommend them highly. Thank you Nico and the crew!

This was my 2nd time using Zippity. I love the fact that everything can be done while I’m at work without having to worry about coordinating transportation when I need work done on my vehicle. The communication is awesome throughout. I get updates on progress as well as any concerns the technician may find during the thorough 12 point safety inspection. I had rescue assistance with the AA for many years. My only experience of requiring services occurred two years ago, when warning lights suggested I stop, switch off and get help. The telephonist was foreign, could not understand my request for help, or where I was, but promised assistance in two hours. I am female, was alone, and it was winter. Very disappointing.....

Ordered front EBC yellow pads for my jeep grand cherokee DP41732R(and rear yellows + front rear EBC dimpled/slotted rotors+ EBC fluid) received DP41723R for Chrysler 300C. They called me first thing Saturday morning to resolve the issue, Luis was extremely nice and sincere in quickly making the order right. They immediately shipped out a few bottle of EBC brake fluid for the mistake and are next day shipping the correct brake pads on the first available business day. I just bought EBC rotors and pads all around for my Honda Ridgeline. It was a pretty big purchase, so I did my research thoroughly. I looked at 40+ places online before calling a few. Most sites had a lot of flashy ads promising a lot of deals, but when I cut through all the crap I found out www.placeforbrakes.com is the best, period. Chris helped me through everything about my purchase from figuring out what exact parts I needed to making some special shipping arrangements for me. This is one of those rare places that has both the best customer service and best prices out there. They shipped the same day I ordered and emailed me the invoices and tracking numbers. Best part: I ended up saving a ton of $$$ compared to other places. Look no further, trust these guys.

Just got my Mot done there. I have moved recently to the area and went there after reading their online reviews. As I was waiting for my car, I saw a few people collecting their cars after mot and all were charged the basic mot cost (no extra repair). My car just needed a light replaced. Friendly owner as well. Will definitely recommend

Terrible customer service! This is the third kit I have used now but unfortunately the paint match was horrendous, not even close I'm afraid. For a start it was supposed to be metallic and was clearly not in supplied product. Emailed customer service and got a pretty vague response and a lot of contradictory waffle. To date I have still not received a satisfactory response to this problem, been ongoing for nearly three weeks now, so I have returned the product awaiting full refund. In summary; product works well if they get the colour right. Just read the instructions and be patient. Customer service is a joke. Buy another system.

Hi. Got my kit oct 2019 and tried it out on my Obsidian Black Model S. Had several chips in front and back wheel arch. Colour match was spot on. First try wa miserable. Maybe I did it wrongly ?. Used the white cloth supplied and smeared like the "shoe polish" method referred like in the video. That was real hard since that paint dried immediately in contact with panel. Leaving layers of paint when using "polishing" method Maybe my batch of paint had too little thinner/hardener ? Using the SealAct took forever and a lot of sweat and definately not light at hand when using Seal Act. I stopped using polish method and used a squeegi I had laying around. That made layer alot more thinner for SealAct to work. Still I feel it took a lot more effort with SealAct than intended. I waited for 4min. After much effort I still feel the result is very nice

I have used clickmechanic a number of times now and i feel i have the right to exclaim how disappointed i have been with them as of late. Customer Service initially was good but trying to contact them through their chat serivce or email is very hit n miss and they always fall back on on their Terms and Conditions without any proper explanation. Money Issues. Whenever a booking is made they like to take the money once the booking is confirmed and before even the mechanic has even done the work. I had an issue with the mechanic which i tried to resolve. It turned out that the mechanic had an issue with the site so i requested my moneyback so then i could pay the mechanic directly myself. They said they will action the refund and send it to my bank in 5 working days. This wasnt to happen as they claim rhey have to refund it from the mechanic first then they will refund my money. Then when this is unsuccessful i should take it up with the mechanic. As far as i am concerned this is not fair and is just making things worse. Clickmechanic like to call themselves a marketplace and for go any responsibility for what happens on there site and pass the blame with out any accountability. They try to soften the blow by offering discount codes, at this point i wont be using them again. I will stick to local trusted mechanics.

Avoid this terrible company. I made a booking for work to be done on priority and it was all accepted and they took my card details yesterday. I awoke this morning to find my job had been 'Cancelled'. I called @9am as they opened to enquire why they said because I complained in 2017 about one mechanic. I am now in a different area and wanted to try them again as they aren't the mechanics I am being refused service. Stay away from this atrocious company.

We have used George from Ace Mechanics many times now, and couldn't recommend him highly enough. He is transparent with his quoting, professional and competent. I don't think there is anything he can't fix. The first time we used him to replace a starter motor on a Honda Odyssey. It was a HUGE job, as it entailed removing the entire engine/manifold. He did this efficiently all in the convenience of our home garage. As well as costing way less than the dealer, we also saved on expensive towing fees. The second time, we needed a new alternator. Again the cost was WAY less than the dealer's quote, plus we saved on towing fees. He has also done a couple of services for us as well as for our entire family (we are a 6 car family). We will continue to use George from ACE for our repairs and maintenance as we know that he is thorough, honest and reliable. We feel that we get excellent, honest service without feeling ripped off (like we often did when we went through the car dealer workshops). Thank you ACE and thank you George :)

I have used State Roads inspection 3 or 4 times now. Their reports are extremely detailed which always have assisted me in making a purchase with confidence. Their report have also saved me from buying a heavily repaired car with full service history, which was a repairable write off from a hail storm with a fake service history. I am a returning customer and I will continue to use State Roads' services, their inspection is worth every dollar and also a great negotiation tool against not-so-honest car dealers

Travelling in north of WA recently. Our 4wd got a cracked windscreen, smallish but had to be replaced. We were in Port Hedland for a few days and it would take a while to get a windscreen in. We were able to arrange that NOVUS in Broome would do the repair, getting the windscreen in while we completed our travels. When we arrived on the date agreed, the guys took our vehicle straight in to the workshop while we had lunch. They even saved our Park pass from the old windscreen and put it on the new windscreen. All done in a very short time with no fuss or inconvenience to us. Great job guys.

On return of my car the oil and battery light now coming on and the air pressure was put down by 10 psi which I noticed the tyres looked flatter as soon as I saw the car when I was picking it up. I'm sure they lied to me telling me I had an oil leak in the coolant fluid. I belive that was a lie now and from looking at these other reviews I'm even more certain.

Needed some simple repair work on one 4x4 rim, consequently Alliance could not perform the repair so they contracted it out. On return of the completed job/10days later than quoted, the rim repair had been made, though the rim was covered in scratches and mechanical clamp marks. To which I discussed with the owner of Alliance, with some very heated discussion he would not take responsibility for the service he was paid for, and then grabbed me and throw me out of the shop. Totally unacceptable, in return I had to find another company to fix the damage what Alliance/contractor had created. And found that the original work carried out by Alliance was totally rubbish and unbalanced the wheel. Thank goodness Swan Tyres did a fantastic job of repairing the damage and the refurb of the wheel created by Alliance. Warning to ALL please do not use Alliance, they do not stand by there work or commitments. Expect to be paid prior to seeing the finished product, and all in all have the worse customer service i have ever witnessed. They deserve to go out of business.

I highly recommend mycar Palmerston, the quality of service is exceptional. The staff are friendly and nothing seems too much trouble. When I first used the shop it was the end of the day when I enquired, they still went out of their way to help. By making calls to get what was needed and booking me in quickly at a convenient time for me. The price was also cheaper than another service I had visited before, whos quote was emailed a week after mycar Palmerston had done the work. I now always use Palmerston mycar as I find the helpful, friendly staff and high quality service is consistent with the added bonus of good pricing. Thanks guys, see you next time!

This mob at Innaloo have done my servicing this year and in the January service I had they said I had estimation of 50% brake pad wear left on the front and 80% on the rear, I had all the bushes replaced and since then its been making a banging noise and humm noise which really drove me nuts. In March another service, banging and humming still going on, brake pad estimation left to wear for front and back is 90% compared to 50% and 80% respectively. Another service in may they say the humming and banging is caused by exhaust system needing replacing, brake pad estimate 80 and 90% respectively, plus my drivers chair is now wobbly thanks to [name removed] the fat bloke who doesn't take care and thinks he knows everything, month later new exhaust installed, and guess what the banging and humming still there, then I went back to the local Ford Dealer near me and they were more helpful and GOT RID OF MY PROBLEMS, serviced the car at Ford and autobahns brake report from last time said 80 and 90% brake wear left, WRONG!! Brakes replaced rotors skimmed at Ford, Lesson learnt, never go to autobahn and stick with the dealer, Ford got me back on track just intime for my planned holiday!!!

Instant Window Tinting film, installed at our home in October 2013, has become streaky and delaminated. Removal, cleaning and replacement of film is necessary. Instant Window Tinting undertook to 'send someone around to inspect' over 2 years ago, but this never happened. Several additional phone calls, Emails, and a facebook entry have STILL not elicited a response. The invoice states 'Lifetime Guarantee', which has NOT been honored! The tinting film is NOT fit for purpose! The attached photographs, and a copy of the invoice highlight problems which continue to be ignored by 'Instant Window Tinting'.

I brought my car to Instant windscreens in Rockingham, Western Australia to have a stone chip repaired on the windscreen prior to having it inspected for registration in the state since the car had come from Queensland. On inspection another very small chip was found so the repair cost was agreed to be $120 for the two..all good,except that some twenty minutes later the car appeared out side the workshop still with both chips and now a 5 inch crack through one. The fellow explained that this can sometimes happen but it's rare....so now at this stage they have rendered my car unpassable for the process of it's road worthiness test...what is worse is that they didn't at anytime explain that this breakage was a possible outcome and to make matters worse I learn from the inspection station later that the car's windscreen with the original chips would have been ok! (just now with the 5 inch new crack it now won't pass).Now the car has to sit unregistered until another windscreen is found (2-3 weeks wait) No apology ...and no acceptance of responsibility for the situation created here...contact with management revealed a totally uninterested and frankly arrogant attitude towards the situation, with absolutely no concept of customer service or the inconvenience caused to me by this balls up....to make matters worse, they offered to replace the windscreen at a cost considerably more than their competition and without any consideration for having broken my windscreen in the first place! Huge regrets that I ever went near this place! I would have absolutely no confidence in getting any kind of satisfactory resolution from this company after my dealings with them just now...they are a disgrace to the industry

This is specifically at the Bokarina Branch, i looked up the price of the car service on AG to be $640.82 and factored in another $80 for the wheel alignment. I sent a booking request through ABS and [name removed] contacted me. I mentioned we had seen the quote on AG and i wanted to book. Unbeknowns to me that booking directly with [name removed] meant my bill was going to be $943.50! How they can charge over $200 more is beyond me. AG takes a 20% commission of any booking so I would have thought the price to be the same or lower as it has been when i have booked directly with mechanics in the past. The older mechanic at the shop did not see it as an issue. He actually said he would never do it for the Ag price even though it is displayed as a bookable price online. He will change his tune when we contact the ACCC over this matter. Absolutely disgusting. ABS I encourage you to contact me and set this straight.

I bought this $29 service through Groupon last year. At the time of booking the service they ask $80 for engine oil. Still I agree as it a bit cheaper than TOYOTA. They gave me the time only during weekdays. I applied half day leave and took the the car for service at 1pm as per the appointment given to me. I came after three hours, car was in the same spot I parked, these people were very rude and told me that to come tomorrow. When I asked money back they told already processed & bad luck. After complaining to GROPON they never replied. Luckily I paid through paypal, they refunded my money. Do not get caught to these scammers - HI-TECH AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE, CHELTANHAM

When my 76 K's VW R 36 developed a bearing noise I took it to a local Auto Trans workshop to get an appraisal of the problem. These cars have a DSG gearbox which uses a computer to operate the clutch and shift gears. The software is adaptive and 'learns' from the drivers habits and makes adjustments to its programming accordingly. VW does not re-build these boxes. They replace them, and that's about $7.5K thank you. OUCHY OUCH!!! So I was not feeling good about my car and it's sick gearbox... Anyway the guy explained that the box would need a full re-build as most of the cost is for accessing the gearbox and re-building. May as well do all the bearings while you are there. Quoted around $3.5K but could not do the job for 4 weeks as it was coming into the Xmas holiday season and his job sheet was full till new Year. Sounds sorta OK now. Couldn't wait that long so called a VW specialist mechanic and he recommended Auto Trans Australia. Phoned up and spoke to Joey. He knows his stuff. Stated that they have rebuilt hundreds of these gearboxes and there will be no problem. Does work on VW Audi BMW Lamborghini etc. Quoted $4700 inc GST for the full re-build including replacing the twin clutch packs which the other guy didn't mention. Explained it is a must do while the box is out. Apparently they have a life of around 100K which is about the same for the gearbox. I thought they would last a lot longer than that- but there you go. Mine didn't! Said I could bring it in immediately and would take around 3 days. All good apart from the price hike. However he said that the box would be good as new and would carry a 2Yr / 40K warranty. That is what I wanted to hear. Dropped the car off and Joey showed me the workshop. There were about 14 cars on hoists for work and the work shop was organised and clean. No shortage of customers. All good signs. Three days later, got the call to pick up my car and went along. Test drove it with Joey and all seemed fine. He advised me that the clutches were brand new and to not use heavy throttle applications till they have bedded in which would be in about 100 kms. I have had the car back for a couple of months now and yes it does seem as good as new and shifts perfectly. Clutch-up take just right. Couldn't be happier. This workshop is not cheap. Although for the work they did and the end result along with the 2 year warranty I feel the price was right. If you need work on a new gen gearbox and want the satisfaction of knowing the guy doing the job is a specialist who guarantees his work. This is the place!

Tony was very helpful as well. he booked me in and said he was going to report to me after inspection. the repairs were done to my satisfaction. They supplied me with a lone car wile the work was going on . my car came back repaired ,also it was washed ,inside was cleaned and tyers were blacked. all up I was very satisfied. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

On the day of the visit, Simon arrived within the stated time frame, was very efficient with replacing the starter motor, checked my car battery to ensure there were no issues (he confirmed it was all good!) and charged exactly what was quoted. I had the pleasure of dealing with Simon and the wonderful people at Driveway Mobile Mechanics last week, when my son rang them from Mackay QLD to organise a vehicle inspection. The vehicle though sounding and looking great seemed some what too good for the price that it was offered , which Simon and his team also agreed with, but being young my son was determine to get it checked out because he liked the car. So on their own back and with out any extra payment Simons team spent 2 days helping us check on the internet for the details and countless phone calls between us about this car, which by this stage was not looking good, after $100 or so the final straw was Simons report that the car WAS to good to be true and we made the decision to not buy it saving my son making a $30 000 mistake. I own a business in Mackay (17 years) and I was blown away by the service and dedication these amazing people displayed , to someone that was nearly 2000 km away and they had never met before I would truly recommend this business to any body wanting professional, honest, and caring service well and truly above what is expected in this day and age . I was looking for a cheap, independent inspection for my vehicle - worrying about garages trying to overcharge me left right & center. I found Vehicle Inspections Australia through a google search and a few mentions in whirlpool so i decided to check it out for the good price I opted for the $99 express, no issues with the certificate or the car. Recently I have taken my car in for a service , understandably the last car professional service was in 2015 so i was prepared for high numbers. But in the end it was just replacement of battery and the other general stuff like tyres. So after leaving it there for 8 hours I came back to pick it up and was dissapointed when i was unable to start the car. The same mechanic that had been working on my car stated the reason for this was because they had left the head lights on during the period they were working on the car ( odd reason 8 hours on a new car with head lights on would not mean a flat battery) , but whom am I to argue with a certified mechanics. So after returning home to run a few errands i decided to go for another drive. ( BAD NEWS car didn't start again) , i'd been driving for a good 30 minutes between mechanics and home so the alternator would have charged the battery if it was flat. Unfortunately the car would not start and i needed to call NRMA road service. After having a look at the car the NRMA road service mechanic stated the reason for the car being unable to start was not the battery but in fact the connectors to the battery terminal were not cleaned. After he provided a replacement of connectors the car started with no further issues. So after paying $1,000 for the car to be serviced and parts replaced rather dissapointed to experience these issues. Leads me to think how certified was the companies mechanic?.

Never been one to let any one work on my cars but last year I was sick with leukaemia and couldn't service or repair my cars for a long time. The people at D & F Autocare looked after my vehicles to a higher standard then I usually do myself and I am picky. When my car broke down they made arrangements to get it back on the road urgently as I needed my carer to be able to get me back and forth to a Brisbane hospital. I was so happy with the service and standard of workmanship that even now that I am well I will still use them to look after my cars. They are great value for money and easy to del with. Give them a try!

I would not recommend Future Auto to anyone and consumers need to be warned about this place. Took my car in for an oil leak and was told car needed full timing kit and water pump replaced. I accepted this as it was a new purchase and had no service history and was at the right service interval for timing kit. I was quoted $900 then a phone call to say it's going to be $1100 then ended up paying $1300 on pick up. Several weeks after collecting my car a knocking/slapping noise overtook the noise of the engine. Took the car to another mechanic who was recommended to me as their quotes are firm and they discovered the hydraulic tensioner had failed (which is part of a full timing kit) and had not been replaced and that the timing belt was well worn and that the only thing that was new and had been replaced was the water pump, possibly because this is visible as soon as you pop the hood? The new mechanic provided me with all of the old and worn parts as proof. I contacted the owner of Future Auto who denied any wrong doing and refused to offer any sort of rectification and blamed me for not taking it back to them to look at although I originally didn't know that the noise was related to the poor work Future had performed. The matter was taken to fair trading who couldn't do much except provide the poor response from the owner of Future Auto denying they had done anything wrong and again put the blame on me for not taking my car back to them. Fair trading has supplied details and paperwork to lodge the matter with QCAT which is now being undertaken. It is suggested you go elsewhere to avoid the headache I'm going through to right their wrong.
