I wanted to have a brand new windscreen on my 06 sport ranger. I love that truck and I paid three hundred dollars for a new windshield, just to make it safer at night and better looking too. What I got was tainted with waterspots on both sides and was worse that my original glass. I was suspicious about that. I reported it and got approved for a "new" glass. What they then did was take it out, clean it and put it right back into my truck without me knowing until after they were gone. I even tipped 20 bucks. I have a photographic memory so the water marks were the same and it still had some rain x that I had applied. It really hurts me to write a less than stellar review for anything, but the problem here is serious. A man from corporate responded to another review of this safelite story and didn't even deny my accusation in any way. I would think your local shops don't engage in this practice-but mine did, twice.

Item I ordered turned out to be unavailable after a month of waiting, and only did I discover after contacting them myself more than once. Poor communication. Untill now waiting for a refund and had to place a claim for my money at Paypal. What a joke! Not recommended at all!

This company is very aggressive, the engineer who came tried to up sell me and would not tak no for an answer, telling me car would be ruined unless I paid an extra £400, I declined and my car is fine. Use the Aa or rac instead

Audi SQ5 engine destroyed. Car has been written off! Horrendous experience with this company! Has taken 8 months, legal threats and court action to recover all damages and costs, even though it was clearly their fault! I understand that mistakes happen, but when 3 independent reports and basic logic clearly show that they did not add enough oil to my car, it’s disappointing that In’n’Out have denied responsibility throughout Their area manager really annoyed me when he suggested that I get a report done by an independent garage then when I sent the report to them, he told me that they wouldn’t accept any liability as another garage had removed the engine to establish why it had failed! He also had the nerve to say that since I hadn’t followed the Audi service schedule they again wouldn’t accept any liability. Audi sent a letter stating that I had followed the Audi service schedule (main dealer) and that he was wrong Even after their own Dekra report stated, I quote, “As there is no evidence of external leakage the engineer would be of an opinion that the incorrect amount of oil has been replaced”, their area manager said they would still be denying any responsibility?! Anyway, justice has now prevailed! Their insurance company commissioned a third report and guess what, it concluded the same as the previous 2 reports! Seeing as the Audi garage only found 2.4ltrs of oil in the engine 4 weeks after a full oil change (the engine should have 6.4ltrs) they may want to consider a name change to Out’not’In

Booked my MOT online for 39£ , could ve had the same using "whocanfixmycar " for just 25£ ... but thats not my main disappointment Now maybe due to covid , could not see my car MOT being done and now the car is making all sorts of noises it didn't have before . There 's no waiting room now (understandably safety comes first) . Beware of the fake positive reviews , saw a 1 star guy saying that he didn't see them using gloves , and followed that review , the was a 5 star one saying that there was plenty of sanitizer around, interesting... When working on several different cars a day , can happen a lot of cross contamination . Be carefull if you take your car here , could be leaving worse than what it came in . Some reviews are highlighting this . You've been warned !! Good luck

Used k-seal and initially after a few minutes the smoke from the tailpipe was drastically reduced but still have some smoke. I let the car idle for about 30 minutes and shut it down. I I am going to run the car again tomorrow morning and see if it improves because I read where you may need more than one heat cold cycle. I will keep you posted.

I had a leak at the bottom of my radiator last winter and this stuff really did work within a few minutes and stopped the leak completely. The problem is the leak just started up again roughly a year later. Not sure if I should try another bottle of K-Seal and see if it fixes the problem for good this time or not. UPDATE: I'm changing my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. This is due to the excellent customer service I received. I was sent a free bottle of K-Seal very quickly (a few days after I sent the email). I used it on my vehicle and the following day the leak stopped. If the seal lasts this time it will be a 5 star product for me.

I've just had my Ray's, Nimso, LMGT4, S , refurbished for my skyline, I've had them 8 years and they was off a racecar from Japan so had some ware on them. I had ordered the nismo stickers from Japan to put back on them. to make things worse I used a wheel cleaner at work that took alot of the paint off. I I spoke to some people at work and they said get lepsons to do them. So I found a color I wanted them to be. Phoned them up to give them the code. No problem they said. So they picked them up and the next thing thing I got a what's ap from Jay to tell me the wheels had some pitting in them and sent me the picture, to this I was gobsmacked as I didn't think I would get this... ????. I had a chat with Jay to what he could do to cover them. I asked if they could lacquer over the sticker and they said yes. ????. I got them back on Monday, to say I'm happy is an understatement. I never knew my wheels could look this good again. They look stunning. A BIG THANK YOU TO JAY, and a massive thanks to lepsons.

1. Appalling and shockingly unacceptable customer service. Wont call back . Wont reply to emails 2. Can be abrupt and rude 3. Wont trust them on technical matters. The mechanics couldn't identify an issue for 6 months. Also due to the fact that they couldn't care about fixing the issue. Different garage picked up what was wrong in a few hours! 4. Dont relay accurate information. Asked to pick up car, and then on collection noticed a major issue. Denied that they caused it. Well, issue wasnt there when car was dropped off. 5. LIARS!.. Lie to your face that car is being fixed. Said car will be ready for collection after programming . And didnt look like they did any work to fix it. STAY AWAY!!! . Take your car somewhere else!!!

I have been without my car for 2 years due to an inspection that I need to get. Couldn't get the inspection due to my ABS and brake light being on all the time. I asked a local mechanic if he could fix it and he said he could and it would take about a week. After 6 months, I went and got my car and took the ABS module off myself within 2 hours and sent it off to MyAirbags on Wednesday. I had it back on Saturday. I installed it a week later within an hour. Both lights were off after nearly two years. Why couldn't my mechanic do that and save me some headache. I am very pleased with the turnaround time that MyAirbags provided. Now I've just got to schedule the inspection. Thanks MyAirbags.

Useless, two ‘quotes’ for £0 offering for me to take it in to get the actual quotes. I don't have the time to be driving around aimlessly! Be very careful. When you click to get an online quote it automatically gives you an appointment with a garage. If you don't cancel they charge you a fee. I tried telling Jessica from autobutler this and I thought she was very unhelpful and quite rude. No apology! I wouldn't use this service. You may as well go to the garages yourself that's what you have to do with this service. The screen shot that is missing from the conversation below says select a quote which was what I did expecting to get an online quote. I didn't ever request an appointment but they made me one anyway and said they would charge if I didn't go to it. Just to make people aware be careful with this company they seem more worried about being right than helping customers.

I have a 10-year old BMW and was dissatisfied by the service I got from the main dealer, which really wasn’t interested in my old car, and where the people kept changing. I found Autodeutsche because one of the people at the main dealer recommended I try them. That was 3 years ago. I have been very happy with the people and the service since then. Friendly and efficient. I feel they look after me honestly and competently.

I bought my first used car a year ago, an Audi A4 Cab. The previous owner did not take care of it as well as they should have, so took it to Bestiale, which received rave reviews on yelp. I am very particular about my cars, having owned a number of new Porsches. Grigor is as passionate and particular as i am (maybe even more so) and it a delight to work with. Bar an X6 Ive had 7's since the 90's and always gone to a BMW main dealer, wish I'd tried these guys sooner. Ive had new brakes & front suspension arms for half the price of a BMW dealer, now just had a service, free courtesy car, car cleaned inside & out, again for half the price BMW dealers charge They're just like a BMW dealer, same quality service, same quality work, helpful staff...half the price !

Had the front calipers on my WRX "remanufactured" by BCS 3 years after taking them off the car due to seizure and replacement with Pattern parts. I wanted to get the originals back on but was doubtful they could even be refurbished given the poor state they were in. The quoted price was reasonable, and I got them back yesterday and was astounded at the quality of the work and paint finish - they look like new! I'll report back later on how the fitment goes which is scheduled with my local garage.

Can not recommended these guys highly enough, fantastic service and staff, helpfully supplying advice on products and also advising on best finishes for calipers i have refurbished, the quality of the paint is second to non aswel, i have a set of calipers on my vw bus i painted 5 years ago with one of their paint kits which still look like i painted them yesterday! To the service manager This is the first time i have availed the service from you on the recommendation of one of my known person. But to my great disappointment I am highly unsatisfied by your service. My experience is as follows I had an issue of my car AC as it was not cooling. I called up your number and the car was picked up from my home. I was given the details of work to be done as per the attachment in the trailing mail. I agreed with your advise and asked you to go ahead with the repairs. You did the work and the vehicle was dropped at my home. When i drove in it to my office the next day i found some noise coming somewhere from the dashboard. So I brought the car again at your workshop after a few days and your mechanic said that by mistake they left some part loose during assembly and they have fixed it. Then gradually I found that the cooling was decreasing and by the end of June the AC was not cooling at all , so today when I brought the car in your workshop you mechanic said that now there is a leakage in some pipe in the bonnet due to which the gas has leaked and he told me that there is an expenditure of around Rs. 2000 to repair it. I don't understand that why all these faults are cropping up just after I gave the vehicle to you for repair of AC. Don't you people check it before delivering it to the customer that the vehicle is OK in all respect? I have to bring my car again and again to you for the same problem. This never happened when I get it repair by the authorized service station. I am sorry to say that I thought that I would switch over to your service station for servicing of my vihicles but my first experience with you itself is very bad. So I would never use your services my self neither I would recommend it to any one else , rather I would warn people from taking their vehicals to you. It was my first time using this company, I brought my car in for an MOT and the quality of service given here is amazing They basically saved me £500 that I was about to spend by giving a fantastically simple solution to what could have turned into an expensive problem, so I left there extremely happy today and I will be recommending them to everyone, their customers are obviously important to them which is great to know as I would have had to pay the £500 had they not have used their knowledge and skills to help. The customer service was so friendly and helpful from start to finish... And a nice tea/coffee TV area to relax in while you wait... all complimentary! Just fantastic I'm really happy!

The manual is excellent, very pleased with the quality. My only complaint is: I received an email stating that my order had been delivered when in actual fact, I did not receive it until 14 days later. This I am certain is a postal service issue and has nothing to do with the quality of service from this company.

The quality of the workmanship was unsurpassed. The team there was very professional, knowledgeable and treated me with respect and courtesy. I own a small indy shop and signed up for mechanicadvisor.com within 2 months of opening. I had 3-400 in sales (those who told me) within 3 months and a customer just authorized work over $3000. I recommend mechanicadvisor for any small shop. It does pay for itself.

06-25-2020 My 2016 Mercedes-Benz E400 W212 front bumper had an apparent improper repair lower front right end when it was leased from Mercedes dealership. Scott Baker from McCollum Auto Body Vancouver took time out to go and see my vehicle bumper. He immediately noticed the improper repair and wrote up an estimate. I took my bumper to McCollum Auto Body and they did a stunning repair and repainted the bumper perfectly. Bill the painter did a truly amazing job matching the bumper to the rest of the vehicle. It looked like black glass very glossy and you can see all that metallic through the obsidian black paint. Scott was very attentive and made sure I was happy with the results. I finally found a body shop that knows what they're doing.

This site is owned by CCC, they are a software company who provide estimatic information to autobody shops. To be listed as on of the companies they would refer customers to you have to use their product. The reviews the provide is via their review systems. To be a part of their network you have to subscribe to their software at a cost of around $750 a month. They don't tell a consumer this when you land on their page. As an independent shop owner who don't use their software, we have to fight get each of the customers we acquire. Site's such as this should be honest as to what they are doing, namely harvesting consumers who do not know any better to use their referral network.

MUCH easier to work with than the OEM hard lines, which require a lift to fish them over the back axle of the car. If you're doing this on jack stands save yourself time, headache and curse words by getting THIS KIT! They are a little long, so you're gonna have to trim a bit - no big deal.

Had oil change done at Reading branch. It was still dirty and dark after they changed the oil. It would seem that they did not empty all of the dirty oil out. The oil does not look much different than before the oil change. It should look like a light transtudent colour when new oil is replaced. Would not recommend them for any oil changes. I paid £54.75 which is cheap for an oil change so I guess you get what you pay for. I asked for a refund but they denied any wrong doing and was not prepared to refund me and we're very rude when I challenged them over this.and vertually put the phone down on me.

Damaged my Mercedes Benz!!! Car was brand new and came back like it went to war, the technicians at Bromley Chipsaway did not know how to treat customers vehicles with care and it is clear the owner who does the quotations doesn’t supervise the workers as the car was not quality checked. What was meant to be a simple scuff repair turned into a nightmare. Had to send the car back to them twice and still it wasn’t sorted. Chipsaway Bromley damaged the interior of my 2 month old class Mercedes Benz had to replace some parts of the door trim. He left paint residue on my carpets, over spray all over the windscreens front and back , wiper blades and the rest of the car, scratches and swirl marks on the tails lights and paint on the rubber trims. He then use a paint scraper to remove the over spray causing more damage to my windscreen. Refused to pay for the replacement parts from Mercedes Benz and denied damage until I took legal action. I would not recommend to anyone

Absolutely genuine guys. We communicated by email initially, sending photos of work required on our new "project" (a 12-year old, previously unloved VW Beetle cabriolet). We needed alloy wheel refurbishment and advice on colour fading on our back bumper. We were told that the wheels could be worked on and advice would be given on the bumper when the car was dropped off at the bodyshop for the wheels to be refurbished. The wheels put up a real fight but we weren't charged any extra for the work involved in getting them back to looking brand new. We were kept up to date on progress and the time required to complete the additional work. The results were faultless! We had a discussion about the paintwork issue and decided, on Paul's advice, to leave the bumper as it is. No pushy selling techniques to get more work. We have lots more work to do on our little "project" but we're picking these jobs off as and when we can afford to have the work undertaken. We will definitely be using Chips Away Chesterfield in the future.

This review is for location in Winston Salem, NC. Absolutely worst experience imaginable. Overspray in over 40 locations. Trash in paint in 12 locations. Dented roof of vehicle. Missing body parts on pick-up with no remorse or offer to resolve. I have extensive before and after pictures taken IN THEIR PARKING LOT. After 4 months the paint is already peeling off. Do not EVER consider this location for any body or paint work.
