Our Inspiring Journeys New Zealand 'Southern Drift' tour in Dec 2018, exceeded all our expectations, tour director Katie Hunter & driver guide Euan Pattie made a wonderful team, both professionals & great fun. Accommodations were varied & of high standard, the coach was exceptionally comfortable with plush seats, less in number than a usual one & with plenty of leg room with phone charging points onboard as well. Having a maximum of 20 on a tour is also a plus for us, everyone mixed well together. Meals were of a high standard, most lunches were our choice which made it easier when exploring a new place. Lastly the scenery amazed us every day. This was our 2nd Inspiring Journey & both were wonderful.

We highly recommend Inspiring Journeys having done back-to-back tours, The Colour of Red followed by Kakadu's Ancient Secrets, with them last year. The bus was very comfortable with great amenities, driver and guide, and driver/guide all very knowledgeable and skilled. The activity level was well within our capabilities and there was plenty of choice for the different needs of our fellow travelers.The scenery was fantastic and the optional flights well worth doing, you get an entirely different perspective of Australia's vast landscapes.

The tour itself was very good and the guide, accom & meals were first class.
Also found the tour very educational.
A little disappointed some what with the arranging/booking due to the need for
several clarifications of detail during the booking process.

Another little blip in the follow up was the promise of photos of interest, taken by the guide, were not supplied even after contacting Inspiring Journeys, office.

As a coach touring holiday it was well planned, the hotels were of a very high standard and Tania, our tour guide, exceptional! In order to cover the ground there were some long days in the coach which wasn't of the highest quality. The visit to Stewart Island was the highlight for us. The wildlife tour of the islands and the midnight Kiwi hunt. We would have liked to have stayed there longer.
A 12 day tour of South Island is really not long enough. If you can spare the time, take longer and if you stay in motels and B&Bs it won't cost any more.

Liz was a wonderful Tour Guide on the Perth to Darwin trip and Mark a great driver over some rough terrain. Liz was very knowledgeable and kept the group informed and entertained.

There were many things about the trip which were excellent - the tour director Carolyn was outstanding, the itenarary was terrific as was Carolyn's explanations and background information. Aside from one glitch of not being able to tour Argyle Diamond Mine which I was looking forward to - every place we visited, stayed or toured provided excellent hospitality and guidance.

A very well run tour, even though we experienced two days with failed aircon and a broken window on the coach! We very much appreciated the consideration we received as travellers with some mobility issues as this enabled our tour to be very enjoyable and gave us memories to treasure.

The tour leader Mel Richardson made the tour unforgettable with her knowledge and commitment to ensuring everyone on the tour was well looked after,There was nothing that was ever to much of a problem .The itinerary gave everyone on the tour an excellent appreciation of the culture of Australia.My wife and myself have done about 30 tours internationally and this was the first Australian tour that we had taken and it far exceeded our expectations .A great advertisement for Australian tourism.

Easy booking and help with changing due to airline schedules
