Having lived in Devon for just 30 years now we have found it hard to find a Retail shop that offers a wide choice of quality lighting and furnishing's. We now consider we have that outlet - Amos Lighting and Home at Topsham, which means less travelling up Country. The layout is superb it allows you to wander and not feel intimidated. The staff there are courteous, with great knowledge of the products. At no time have we felt pressurised to purchase anything, in fact we feel we are more able to visit the showroom and come away to consider what we feel we would like to buy. With changing stock it is also a shop to re-visit for new ideas and products. All staff that have assisted us so far need a mention and would recommend anyone to visit and give them a chance to show you that you do need them to advise you on lighting!

Since moving to the area in December 2016 we have visited Amos Lighting on many occasions, sometimes for the purpose of browsing and others for purchasing. We always had 1st class customer service. I will particularly mention Ashton and William who advised us on numerous occasions. As another reviewer has already commented, at no point were we put under pressure to purchase. William in particular provided us with much advice and when we were really struggling to sort shades for lights in our lounge he was most helpful. Following his suggestion we took photos of our lounge and when he viewed them he was able to offer great advice, the end result being purchase of 2 shades. We also purchased display units from Amos and even though there was an issue on delivery this was swiftly resolved by William. He always kept us well informed about delivery and the progress of issues to be resolved. I would not hesitate to recommend Amos to anyone looking for lighting solutions just a bit different from the norm. The showroom at Topsham is a real Aladdin's Cave and is well worth a visit. Parking is always available.

Found a fabulous range of lighting at the Topsham branch of Amos, it was so easy to select lighting for the whole house with the expert and insightful help of William. His knowledge of bulbs left me in awe. The ordering process was smoothly completed and we didn't have to wait long for the couple of lights that weren't in stock. Many visitors have admired our new lighting and we are happy to recommend Amos lighting.

Visited the Showroom in Topsham Tues 12th December, talked to Ashton, very helpful. Ordered Lounge Lights on Thus 14th December by phone with Ashton said who all the lights were not in the showroom and they would need to be ordered from the Supplier and get back to me. Return phone calls confirmed the lights would be delivered Monday 18th. Deliverd as prommised, Electrician fitted Tues 19/12. First class service from thsi family company.

During my recent visit to Amos Lighting Topsham, I was overwhelmed by the helpfulness of William. He was both knowledgeable and efficient. The showroom had plenty of choice and I was able to find something wonderful at a price that suited my budget. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

From start to finish William in Topsham has been really helpful
He has shown us lights/fittings we didn't know existed & helped us make choices which we are now delighted with in three areas
We also appreciated his visit to our recently moved into home which helped him understand the issues together with concurring that we should take the lighting a step at a time i.e. no ridiculous sales pressure to do everything at once
We will be back for more ideas & advice in the coming months

Having moved into a new house in Exeter last year we have been a frequent visitor to Amos lighting in Topsham. The only problem is that William and the team provide such an excellent service - we keep going back!! All our lighting has been provided with expert knowledge and help - particularly from William. We have now moved on to buying occasional furniture which compliments our theme. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We've used Amos for the last four years and always had very good service. Their lighting products and furniture we've bought are still looking good and are lasting well. The staff are always friendly and helpful and nothing is too much bother.

We have been casting around for new lounge lighting since moving house two years ago. One trip to Amos Lighting at Marsh Barton solved the problem. No more sitting in gloomy light now! We were so pleased with the new ceiling fittings we returned to buy a matching table lamp.

Have bought both lights and tables from the Topsham showroom in the past so when we decided we needed some more contemporary lighting both for inside and outside the house we had no hesitation about returning. Staff always professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with no hint of hard sell. This latest experience was no different. Very pleased with the end product. Many thanks Amos Lighting! The Amos service was once again first class, despite the unprecedented times. Order placed on line having had conversation with Nickie who gave me valuable advice. The lights were despatched and delivered within 7 days as promised.

I n very difficult times and at a safe distance of 2 metres the assistant Angela, asked what we needs lights for.She explained that living close to the coast we need ones that would be resistant to salt.
She also just had a very pleasant and good humoured way about her.
After the shop had had to be closed due to CV, we were a little concerned about how abd when we would receive our lights.Before I even had time to contact Amos lighting I received a phone call to say our lights were being delivered to us free of charge.
I will be recommending Amos Lighting to friends.

I had a problem with one of the lights bought some time ago and Amos contacted the manufacturer, arranged a replacement and arranged for me to collect the replacement unit all within a few days. Their salesman provided excellent service and even arranged for me to drop off the old unit and collect the new one from his home which saved me having to drive a lot of extra miles. Well done Amos Lighting and thanks for your service.

Very helpful in obtaining 12 brand new light fittings from the
manufacturer, some of the originals faulty after 6 years wear.
Particular praise to Orlando Home for good customer manner!
